Yesterday I went to a Nordstrom rack store in San Leandro,Ca.Among other things I found a pair of shorts Which I liked. I am size 34. They had 32 and 36. A kind lady was able to locate one in Dublin,a few miles away(one pair only). I rushed to Dublin,without taking a picture, or remembering the brand.There I found the nicest young lady Victoria. Based on my description,style,color,she went in the back.3-4 minutes later she came back holding them with a beautiful smile on her beautiful face.she made my day. How wonderful will be life with Victoria(S) EVERYWHERE..
Nordstrom Rack uses OnTrac shipping which is notorious for "losing" packages. My package was "lost" but this was only determined after I repeatedly contacted Nordstrom Rack via their customer service chat and phone number. I was able to get a full refund by calling their number and clearly explaining my situation, however, I can only imagine the number of customers that wouldn't advocate for themselves in that way due to a variety of reasons. This would lead me to believe there are many NR customers which do not receive their purchase yet NR still profits. Seems clear that NR cares about profit far more than their reputation and/or customer satisfaction. This being said, I'd shop at NR only in-person at an actual storefront, never again online.
I started buying from Nordstrom rack on line because I had been buying from Nordstrom store and their rack for years, however most of the items I received seemed to be poor quality and just did not look nice on. I like a bargain but prefer to pay more to get the quality look and feel.
I was disappointed and stopped buying from the on line store. I never returned anything but gave away most of my purchases so no savings for me.
I do not recommend it but you might take the chance as find something you like.

Placed an order for two pairs of boots on 11/30/2021. Received one pair December 7th and other pair was to arrive on December 8th. December 10th still no boots and the tracking info isn't updated. Call customer and there's a problem with the distribution center so they didn't go out right away. Despite the delay, they chose to send the package with a 14 day delivery. When I asked if they could expedite it to receive them earlier than 14 days especially since the package is already delayed I was told it's Christmas and what do I expect? There are delays this time of year. Customer Service representative was rude and condescending. First time shopping there and will definitely be the last!
Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time ordering from this site. Today, I have spoken to two other people who also had a nightmare experience ordering from Nordstrom Rack

I bought 2 Mac blush sets, urban decay lipsticks and a couple of smashbox palettes for half the normal price and they all came within a week of shipping! I love Nordstrom Rack becuase you can always find good deals. The only problem was I didnt know my tracking number of my item due to the fact that I checked out as a guest but I called customer service and they where able to help me! Ill definitely be buying more stuff from them.

Shopped at Nordstrom Rack plenty of times online before and have never encountered such terrible customer service until now. I placed an online order for a sportcoat and was sent pants, which was clearly a mistake. I called customer service and was appalled by their unwillingness to help their customers. I was told the correct item could not be sent to me and I would have to place another order online and pay again in order for me to receive the original item I ordered. When I asked for a refund I was told none could be issued until they received the item they incorrectly sent to me. Bottom line the customer is the one that has to go out of their way for a mistake the company makes. Will never shop here again. Shop here only if you want this company to waste your time and money.

NordstromRack is 0 for 4 on online orders with me. The first order they sent me the wrong item. Second order was canceled due to being flagged as possible fraud for an unknown reason and canceled and my account was locked and then had to spend about an hour trying to rectify the situation, of course by that time the item I ordered was out of stock. Third order was delayed for weeks and then canceled due to some kind of inventory issue. Fourth order they almost got correct, but sent me the item that I ordered but in a smaller size than what was ordered. It's pretty easy to figure out why they are on the verge of bankruptcy.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use the website. Based on my experience you are more likely to get the wrong product than what you actually ordered.

I ordered a product knowing I might have to return it. It said free returns so I figured it would be. After trying to return my product, I ended up paying $14 in shipping costs! I contacted them and the lady could have cared less. She said the only way to fix it was to drive to the nearest Nordstrom (which is 2 hours away from me). I told her I would never be using their site again and she said "okay, enjoy your day!". They do not care about their customers, do not order from them.

I just spent nearly 2 hours going through the Rack's clearance pages. Found a couple of items and saved them to cart. Only to return to cart and find them expired or sold out. When I finally lined up my order I discovered that I could not go through their checkout process without "saving" my information (as a guest), after I saved there I continued to the credit card information and found that I could not continue past that until I "saved" that info. I make it my policy to not save financial info to websites. What a waste of my time! Don't waste your time on the Rack.

I ordered a shirt only for them to send a packing slip with the right size listed but still sent the wrong size. Asked me to repurchase the same item because they couldn't guarantee me the shirt would be in stock by the time they get the return back. I've come to expect more from a Nordstrom company than this.

The most horrible customer care service be through phone or chat! Doesnt help one get back their refund and we are told different kind of stores every time you call back and the call is usually disconnected or they hang up on you while you are waiting

Buyer beware this is not Nordstroms and they will only accept your order to take your payment for a couple weeks than tell you they dont have it anymore and take 2 more weeks to refund you. Great business model? This is the polar opposite of the original Nordstroms that was built on customer service.

I ordered two items and after waiting more than a week, received the package - with one item that was entirely wrong. I called, and the customer service representative said "too bad" the item that I wanted was no longer available. I asked for a refund, and was told that she'd have to check with a supervisor and would call me back. I asked for her contact information and she said she would email it to me. I did not receive a call, nor did I receive an email. When I called (and waited on hold) again, I asked for a supervisor, and when I tried explaining what happened and why I was frustrated, the customer service representative became very hostile and ultimately hung up on me.
I think this site is a scam - I think they purposely send incorrect items and make it difficult to return so that a "lazy" customer will just give up - while they keep our money. I will never use this site again, and would encourage anyone thinking of using it to think again.

I ordered two pairs of boots a taupe pair and a black pair. When they arrived, I opened the taupe box and all was fine. When I opened the black, I found one grey boot and one black. They said they could not send out the correct pair, I would have to package, return and pay shipping to send them back and I would see a refund 10 days later. So I did that and re-ordered another pair. Guess what arrived? Yes, another box with one black boot and one grey! I have invested/paid for 2 pairs of boots at this point, only to have one 1 that was shipped correctly! I cancelled everything and asked for my money back, yet it will most likely be two or more weeks before I see the money!

1, I tried to return a dress, I am pregnant and the dress didn't fit.it is past 90 days by 15 days. All effort I made even to customer service proved abortive.
2, I also bought Gucci sunglasses but it came with only a Calvin Klein case. The cashier says do you want it or not. I like Nordstrom rack but will never shop there again

I recently purchased an item and was charged $8 for shipping. When I purchased the item, the description stated "Ships in 1 - 3 days". I then received an email stating that the product would arrive in TWELVE days from the time of purchase. I contacted what Nordstrom considers to be "Customer Service" and asked for a refund of $8 and was denied. I have returned the item and will never order anything from Nordstrom online again and I would recommend not to anyone asking.

I ordered Christmas presents for my family on November 29. The site said it would take 6-9 business days for the order to ship- plenty of time to be here before Christmas. This morning I track the order again- and it says it was just delivered to USPS yesterday, December 22- and it won't be delivered to me until the 28th! This is unacceptable. Customer service has a ridiculous wait time and no email that I can find. Won't use this site again!

Good value is what I have found when shopping at Nordstrom Rack. Have purchased numerous items and have been happy with the items purchased. There are so many items available and on sale that sometimes it is difficult to choose what I want. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Bought hoodie I later returned. It cost 3/4 of the price of the item to return it. No explanation given. Had receipt in package. Do not order from this company. The product had a poor description on website. Call's itself "HauteLook" with refund. Should call itself CrappyClothes.

Takes about two weeks for you to get your package regardless of their clearly untrue assertion your order will ship in 1-3 days. More like 6 days. I personally found costumer care unsatisfactory - like yea I know how to track a package.
I can only imagine how horrible the returns process is if it takes them two weeks just to send you your stuff. Notice it takes them NO TIME AT ALL to charge your card though lol

I have waited over 12 days for my item to reach UPS. Although I received notification from Nordstrom Rack that my item has shipped via UPS, it has not entered UPSs tracking system. UPS states they are still waiting to receive it. This is totally unacceptable. I was told that I have to wait another 5 days before they can cancel my order and credit my card. And this is the second time this has happened to me at this store. The customer service is nothing like Nordstroms. The headache is not worth the sale price. I will never shop with this store online again.

By far the most disappointing online shopping experience I have had. Apparently the dress I ordered has now been returned back to Nordstrom Rack without any attempt to deliver it to me OR inform me! Here I was waiting for the dress that I was supposed to wear for my anniversary dinner and I find out it was actually returned! And no one knows why it was returned- such a waste of time.

Nordstrom Rack will charge you for your online purchase as soon as the order is placed and then proceed to ship out your order two or more weeks later. Items I have ordered from overseas have arrived sooner than this Nordstrom Rack shipment. I find it very shady and deceptive to essentially "borrow" money from customers for weeks in advance. I contacted customer service 3x. The first time, the rep told me to wait and see. The second time, the rep informed me the package label came off and that I needed to wait a few more days for an update. The rep was unable to fulfill my request to expedite shipping. The third time, I did not receive a response from Nordstrom Rack. I will not reorder from Nordstrom Rack in the future.

I will keep it short, I ordered 4 items on four orders in a day and a half. Paid $7.95 for shipping on each of the four orders. When I received the orders (14 days later), all four orders were shoved into the same box, with no padding or no packing materials what so ever!
I was billed $31.80 for one small 12x12x2 inch box! I immediately complained to 'customer service' and they promised a response in 24 hrs. Waited 48hrs. Nothing. 72 hours nothing. Wrote another complaint, and received a reply five days later!
The reply was dated the 12/14 promising a refund on the shipping in "3-5 days". It is now 12/28 and no credit still. They have had my money for a month. A loyal Nordstrom shopper is finished with this company!

I wanted a small Christmas with my husband. Asked him to order me a pair of Zendaya boots and only boots. I received the wrong color AND style. When we called customer service they told us they were sold out of the actual style I had purchased! (showed proof of order through order number) They want me to pay to send the boots back! They will refund me my money but do not have the boots in stock that I actually ordered. I am now without a gift, inconvenienced by sending these back AND paying for my own shipping. I have never been more disappointed with a purchase and with customer service in my life.

I have ordered from this site many times and every order has had an issue. 1. They have sent me the complete wrong size of shoes. 2. Their website wouldn't redeem gift cards. 3. Their item descriptions are WRONG, which makes clothing unwearable. Because of this I had to return. I have had to reach out THREE times to get my refund. Absolutely ridiculous. How hard is it to mail a gift card for my refund? I am no longer a customer.

I ordered my father two pairs of shoes for his birthday. The order was placed on May5th and said it would take a little longer to ship because of covid19. Understandable. 11 days later still no email on shipment. I was refunded the money and my order cancel saying I requested it. That did not happen! If i had not gone online I never would have known because I got no email. Now both pairs of shoes are sold out. LIVID and will not be doing business with them again.
