I have found nz post a very reliable service and very content with the service very good thankyou Aone
I visited the office and sent in my package. They assured me it would take 10 days. It is now 2 months and every time I call to ask, they have a different story.
Useless, right down to the customer service. Rude and unhelpful, don't expect anyone to help you locate a lost parcel. I have also had a parcel stolen by one of their workers before, I'll never know if he was fired or not
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use NZ Post
Regular occurrence, not just once. NZ Post will lose an item. Will go to claims. Will take 2 months for them to process the claim, I send customer replacement item in the meantime. Then the item sometimes arrives 2 months later, and they will cancel the claim. Really terrible policy. Such a crap company. Their clients are then out 2 lots of items + 2 lots of shipping.
Disgusting service. Courier did not deliver, did not leave a card and the false information provided by their emails of next business day collection is untrue. Plus they send your delivery to a depot on the the other side of Auckland. NZpost is the worst courier carrier.

None, it never arrived due to nz post
I paid for a letter to be tracked and signed after it twice failed to be delivered by NZ post. This one was supposedly left on a chair at the address although it had a post box and was supposed to be signed for. Suffice to say it has never been seen. Very suspicious to me. Contacted NZ post who seemed to think this was alright and I should claim from Royal mail who sent it to NZ even though NZ signed for it. Avoid at all costs. I wish I had seen all the revues before using them.
Really l have just spoken to NZpost online team about our online purchase of envelopes from NZpost which was supposed to be delivered within 2-3 days.
The order was placed 30th November.
Today we learn the order has not even been picked - 8 days later, and that it should be picked by the end of this week and put out for delivery.
Given current delivery delays, are we even going to see the envelopes before we close office on the 17th?
OR should we just refund everyone's money that has paid for goods needed for their summer camping holidays?
Frankly NZPost rather than spending millions rebranding, how about spending that $ on improving your customer services?
Tip for consumers:
ask for real shipping times prior to purchase especially if needed to complete tasks

Absolutely rubbish service. Paid for delivery and the article has not turned up. Many phone calls and get passed from one person to another and then they do not call back. Then when you do get to talk to someone they tell you that they have gps proof that delivery was made they will not show the proof due to protecting "your privacy"
Shipment booked for collection om 4th November. After several calls made to the call center and several promises made for collection, shipment finally got collected on 11th November. No callbacks from the customer care team to respond to the escalation. The pick up address was only 2 mins from NZpost depot.
Such a terrible experience!
Came to my door but leave no card so i was waiting for my parcel for a week also i sent message to them just leave my parcel at the front door but they didn't care i spent whole week to wait could you just give me a call or even a text or at least a card! But nothing, how hard is this job?
Parcel was sent to me by overnight post, another parcel was sent by slow post 4 days later. Second parcel is here but first parcel hasn't left the depot according to tracker. The sender and I have both contacted 6 times in total and after 8 days and a combined hour waiting on hold have been told an investigation can't be lodged for another 5 days. Service is disgusting, it is a health related parcel that I need. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Rude staff who continually flout the Covid 19 government mandates and have their masks under their chins or not on at all. The rudeness is habitual, giving the lie to the large « all are welcome » sign on the door.
Tip for consumers:
Teach the staff to do their job and behave politely instead of acting as if the customers who keep them in a job are a pain in the neck.

I bought a 25kg item on Trademe. The vendor put on the label that it needed to be delivered by the 4th September. This was because I was leaving to have an eye op with no bending etc for 2 weeks afterwards, on the 6th. On the morning of the 7th it was still showing on the tracking site as having last been at 18.18 3. 9. 19 at Albany. It was delivered to the wider Dunedin area later this am. 7. 9. 19 The driver was smirking. I have had it with rubbish personalities so he will be joining other bad eggs I am outing on youtube. The only reason I was here was because I had an infection and my op was cancelled. I would like to see that bastard fired.
3 months it took for them to sort out an item I sent that NZ courier smashed and checked it out that it was not my fault in the way I packed item the whole 3 months I have tried to talk to someone to tell them about the worst experience I have had and to this day it is still not sorted. A team leaders manager told the team leader she could deal with it when that team leader was the worst out of the lot I wanted her boss to go through everything that has happened but no she told the person under her she was aloud to sort it? 4 different things I had been told to do and not one of them is write just unbelievable NZ post fair go is my next step!
The local courier provides good service and is approachable but NZ Post for International deliveries is pathetic, and I'm not talking the CS / phone team. We've had 3 international items after arriving sit around for days, the latest arrived, sent to Hamilton, then to Taupo and then to Rotorua. It wasn't suppose to go to Taupo and it most definitely was not suppose to go to Rotorua where it has sat for 3 days now. NZ Post appear to have difficulties picking up the phone and calling their local hubs, so emails them and tells us we have to wait for a response. Man that is pathetic. Surely a quick call to the depot would suffice. The item, according to NZ Posts web site, has sat in Rotorua for 3 days with no further scans. I do not want to assume the worst but based on the consecutive failures to deliver within a satisfactory time frame, the lame excuses, one would almost think the item has been interfered with. We try to use alternative companies especially for domestic parcels.
I'm shocked and disgusted that my card I send to Australia took 38 days by airmail. Postage is expensive now so our mail shouldn't take that long from NZ to Australia. We get mail from Australia in 14 days. I expected ours to be no more than 14 days also.
I booked for a pickup on the 01/09/21 its now 03/09/21 and was meant to be a over night i know its crazy right now but i did call them the next day and they said that they contacted the driver for pickup and wound ring back to comfurm. They did not even do that so much for over night service so i rang them and its been cancelled good one nzpost now i have to wait even longer.
I had a parcel being sent from auckland to invercargill. Estimated delivery date overnight 17 Feb, recieved 22nd Feb with only 2 updates total on track an trace and then not all was filled in. What's the point in paying for track an trace when no update for days.My parcel was a tube of thin lizzy foundation and needed my signature as I wouldn't be home i couldn't click into the box to leave a message as the box message read dangerous goods, what a joke. Instead of 1 star, should be half. Shame on you get your act together.
Never in my life have I dealt with such a useless company, they should pay their customers to use their service - sending international goods is just a waste of time, what they estimate as 2-4 weeks you can guarantee will be 2-4 months (and that's crossing your fingers it will make it there).
Why New Zealand has such a useless postal baffles me, when comparing to a company like FedEx, NZ post is the equivalent of paying a mentally challenged child to deliver goods - I don't know if the couriers are distracted by cats on their way to deliver parcels or if they try to 'guess' where they parcels should be delivered.
Tip for consumers:
Unless you enjoy paying for an awful service and want to deliver parcels to random locations across the globe.. find a competent service.
The most useless delivery service. Takes a half an hour to get a hold of them and then they don't even help you. Told me my package was going to arrive at 11am and came all the way into town to pick it up as they wouldn't leave it in the mailbox only to wait 2 hours to find out my package was still in the depot. Can't pick it up due to the lockdown. Don't waste your time and money on this courier.
Ordered a package on Thursday, got a notification on Saturday that my parcel will be getting delivered today. Ended up waiting around till 4.04pm that Saturday, checked & refreshed my tracking app says ‘Attempted delivery' lol very false as they hadn't even attempted driving up my drive way let alone even coming to the door, Me thinking that they just couldn't be bothered and drove right past and just marked ‘Attempted'. Walked to see if they put a card in my mail box to get it redelivered the next working day long behold they didn't. P. s couldn't call the company as it was after hours. Parcel was back at our local depot, Tracking app now says ‘Ready for courier'. Monday comes around ‘Estimate delivery TODAY'. Then tracking app changes to ‘Processing at depot' when it just said Ready for courier. Let's hope it arrives tomorrow wish me luck
Reliable posties, great customer service both from the posties and on the phone. Soooo much better than fastway/aramex. I send on average 5-15 parcels a week, parcels that are auckland-auckland are always delivered the next day after pick up and I have never had a problem with a parcel with courier post. Newmarket and Parnell Pick up/Drop off drivers are great!
The most unhelpful post office service. I had a parcel that didnt arrive to me overseas and told them about the dreadful delays so they POSTED me the form to complete even though i requested a link or email. The form then took 2 months to arive. Staff were rude and not in the least helpful. And so it took 4 months from time it was sent until I received the form... then I was supposed to post it back... aaaargh... I gave up in the end.
NZ post is bloody disgusting service had concert tickets sent to me within NZ last Thursday to see a show on the Saturday and 6 days later the tickets arrived so missed show and the tickets were not cheap what the hell is the point of a overnight courier can't believe the $#*! service they really should pay but what a joke they don't care I'll make sure I never use them again bloody mongrels.
The worst experience and repeating every month. Never expected it to be so bad. Plus they are cheating and not doing claims properly and I have had ruined day many times.
Never phone you back, dont answer emails so totally faceless, they lie and i can prove it, lose packages then blame everyone but themselves. I will never use again
How are they in business is beyond my comprehension. An outrageous delivery service in Auckland CBD is their specialty. The drivers never show up, don't leave a card to collect. The tracking system says delivery attempted but I'm literally standing at the same very moment outside my building and there's no sign of a delivery van or courier. I called their customer service multiple times asking the drivers to use the building intercom to dial our apartment... they never do that. It looks like when they know it's an apartment building they don't bother to come. I texted NZ Post customer service on Facebook asking to resolve the issue and was promised to be contacted by the fleet manager. Again... it never happened. A guy on the phone said my parcel is in Morningside while a couple of days before they said it will be waiting for me at Victoria Street Collection Point. I came there, and they said it's not here. Nobody knows what's going on and, despite all the communications I had with the customer services, things don't change. Seriously, you're not made for this job.
