Do not do bussiness with this company. If u have a problem theres no customer service... They will shut u down for no reason at all. They tie up your money and theres no way to reach them... Iv read many reviews and pretty much all of them shares my feeling..

If I could rate this below 1 would. Had so many people schedule to meet or pickup items no shows no message just no shows. Report to offer up and they are not removed from offer up. So they just do others that way I am sure. Then I posted a couple of postings and offer up removed them. But even after my postings were removed I looked and offer up was loaded with postings just like mine. Guess someone saw me as competition. OfferUp was a huge headache. Use Craigslist. Do not waste your time. I have had no issues with Craigslist. OfferUp needs to make huge changes. Do not waste your time.

I cannot get ANYONE at OfferUp to respond or resolve my issue. I shipped an item that they buyer received on 12/26/18. He sent me a message through OfferUp stating that he received it and USPS tracking clearly indicates the same. OfferUp completely cancels the transaction and the pending money is gone. I have been sending message after message to them to get my money this is rightfully owed to me and they do not respond. I have received automated responses here and there, but nothing from a real person. I really wish that there was somewhere to go about this because if they have taken my money, I can only imagine how many other peoples they have taken.

Offer up is a piece of junk and garbage. I gave up with them. Behind anonymous nick name without phone# 95% ot people just play games and waste your time. Ignore offerup if you dont want to waste your time. Craigslist is a 100 times better and realiable.

I placed several items under the furniture category. People would reply "where are you located?" Your post shows where you are! I think it's phony bots replying to your ad to encourage you to keep using their site. I want to give them no stars!

Site used to be good but every since they merged with letgo things has went down hill a lot of scammer messages, long delays on deposits, and they delete items saying they are counterfeit when they are not, and they no longer respond to any messages when someone message the site with issues. And last but not least the site crashes

The company itself is messed up and unprofessional. I posted a Burberry bag I have had for 13 years. The company took the ad down because they thought it was fake. I challenged them and they apologised and put it back up. Which led to number 2 problem. People on offer up are so cheap. They want everything for free. They were offering me $100. So I decided to edit the price, hoping that if they put in an offer, it would be higher and closer to the price I wanted. As soon as I edited the price, offer up took my item down again. They probably didnt notice it was the same bag they had previously done that to. This time the company flat out lied and said we work with brands who have identified your item as not authentic. What a lie! If truly Burberry saw their bag, they would have known It is authentic. I showed pictures of the whole bag. The company OfferUp itself is a fraud, plus the members are mostly scammers/want your items the price of Salvation Army.

That is ALL you get on this site. I am not sure who these people are that plan on buying anything, but they apparently expect everything to be $1! Even after I posted an awesome queen log bed with canope, sealy mattress and box Spring for $250, one person still asked what the lowest is I would go. This idiot has no idea how much real wood log beds cost. I then checked how many items actually get sold and it turns out it's pathetic! Not worth anyone's time!

You are advertising for furniture stores that will never take an offer if I wanted to shop there ai would go there.Was on for 1 day and now Uninstaller and FYI people from these places ate soooooooooo fing rude!@@!

OfferUp did not appreciate me calling them "hypocrites" for removing my ad because I pointed out that paid advertisers sell same item. The next day my acct was removed... apparently I hurt someone's little feelings... TRUTH HURTS... LOL...

What a screwed up company this is, no idea how they run their business and for what! Looks like a money laundering type of business because no customer service, knock people out of the app, account without no reason. Their agenda must be different than just an online shopping app.!
Offer up closed my account for having multiple, accounts? I only have one account listed under 1 number but nobody is there to listen, after all it's their servers that screwed up!
Counting each account as multiple. Company collects taxes and fees but where is IRS? Nobody going after these crooks? Offer company harbors criminals, new sellers on the block with "0" feedback selling expensive items like iPads, expensive cameras but company don't give a $#*!! These people must be working for the Offer up - Partners in Crime!

In short, they witheld money from an item I sold. Upon contacting them via email I was given no explaination, no solution, just copy pasted answers with zero follow up. I've sent in total 12 emails, they've responded twice.

Tons of scammers on this site. They advertise buyer and seller protection but it's all BS. They're not there to help when theres an issue.

They dont have a phone number. Getting help is impossible unless you tweet them on twitter. Theres no address. It's like a shell company running out of a garage.

Tons of scammers on there and I got scammed $50. Offerup just gave me run around over emails and took forever to respond, finally told me to call the cops for best help after lol. What a joke.

So many other better buy sell places like Ebay, poshmark etc. With REAL buyer and seller protection and actual phone number and email for you to talk to a real person.

Not worth the risk when theres so many other choices. Theres a reason for poor reviews of this company everywhere.

You've been warned! Why eat at a 1 star rated pizzeria when theres 4 and 5 star rated pizzerias on the same street? Unless you find it fun getting food poisoning lol

Ive been riped off by cheats on offer up, reported them, and they still so business. As for me, i disnt know that you cant post links to items. I did it one time and they removed my account. Here is the message they emailed to me. Hi,

Worse then blocking you they also dont tell you youre being blocked so you cont to sell or shop without knowing it until you realize your not receiving any messages and the items your selling arent showing up. They are the worst with no customer service if you run into problems. Go suck it Offer Up from someone who used to be a loyal member. I hope you go out of biz soon which Im guessing will happen reading any reviews about you. A great promise of a company that for some reason stopped caring and failed.

Did the sign up only to find it does not work on a PC! You must have a smartphone. WTF you can[t trust apps that steal your contacts pictures and other personal info. But then I tried to contact support and could not find any info like address phone numbers or email. If they think I am going to turn over my financial info without knowing how to contact them they are scamming. Never do business with someone who hides their identity,

Seller accepted my offer. Held my money for 5 days then just canceled without any reason after ignoring my when r u going to ship. Msgs. And I can't even leave a feedback for the seller. What a waste of time. I could've bought from somewhere else. Never using this stupid site again.

Craigs list is easier & better. I have found 2 types of sellers on offer up Ones that can't be bothered to remove or update the listings they have leaving you days with no response and second the buyer so DESPERATE to make a few bucks they bug the living daylights out of you till you become frustrated and move on. Offer up should have some kind of a clean out process where if it has not sold it's removed after 120 days both from the site and all boards it was saved to forcing the seller to re add the item. I currently have items on my board I cannot remove & the items have been deleted. This is NUTS I will be moving on to another service.

Will never use this app again. Big waste of time. You cant call or talk to the managers when There's a problem all you get is a form letter saying you can report to the police if you fell you are the victim of a crime. LAME!

Absoulutely the most difficult site to work on/with. Customer sent me her email, they removed it b/4 I could respond. Act issues to abundant to continue. Became so difficult I gave up mailed the item (free of charge) to the recipient paid the shipping charges myself. Right now I'm working on removal of my acct and posts. Don't want anything more to do with this OfferUp Nightmare.

Tried to post my car for sale and it kept deleting it, then asked for $4.99 to post ad which I paid and tried to put ad back on (should be simple right?), and deletes it again. So I contact customer service and no one responds for 4 days and their response? We have deleted your account for suspicious activity! OMG! Where is my $4.99 refund?

Sold an iPhone 8Plus and a month later i still hadn't received the money for the phone. I've emailed them several times only to be told that they're reviewing it. How long does it take to release my funds? I just want my money or my product. OfferUp is a freaking rip off. Do not use them unless you are doing cash purchases

This app makes it easy to sell your used items. Just open the app take a picture, name your price and get offers from people in your area. I sold a few old toys and a couple couches within a couple hours.
