It is impossible to add content from a browser. Only the phone app allows content to be added or edited. This is pure garbage written for teens. Not worth anyone's time.

I have repeatedly reported vehicle scammers and Offerup still keeps their posts up! Pretty sure Offerup has a big hand in these SCAMS. Letgo is a much more trusted site.

The platform is discriminatory, defaming and of TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
All.messages are AI Generic. One cannot talk to a person. Offerup software crashed. 3 new email accounts later now I am disabled. What an effing joke of a company. And yes, a biased group.
Please avoid at sll costs. Stick with Craigslist. Marketplace and Ebay.
A HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE WITH BS CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased an item that had to be shipped. AFTER I paid, she said shipping would be more. I told her I wouldn't have purchased with more shipping costs. She said she would refund my $$. She never has and hasn't replied to my inquiries. I reported her to Offerup and they aren't doing anything. She is still selling and I am pursuing through my bank and Zelle. Shame on Offerup!

Do not use this site RIP OFF, I sold a very nice Coach purse and now they won't pay. I mailed customer receiver the hand bag and now I don't get paid because of offer up. The said I had to use there shipping label although I mailed on my own which was way cheaper then their label now they won't pay me. Never Nver use this site RIP OFF

Don't use offer up, they suck in customer service, and suck even more since they merged with letgo, Don't bother using offer up.

OfferUp management is about as pathetic as their representatives. When you have an issue with a Buyer/Seller and use the report to OfferUp about the issue, there's no confirmation of such report and Most Important, absolutely no action taken. Meaning the company supports illicit and deceptive action committed by their members.
BEWARE OF THE USERS BEING INTERACTED WITH AS THERE WILL NOT BE ANY SUPPORT.
IN A NUTSHELL, THIS HAS FOR YEARS AND STILL TOO DATE IS A WORTHLESS SITE AND TO BE VERY LEARY OF.

This app is easy to use but not much luck with it... people ask you questions in the middle of night and never get back to you... no serious buyers for me yet. Let go app is much better!

My son was robbed and i contacted them via email 5 times ---still no. Personal LIVE contact. I watch an infant during the day and cant type all day.

NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING THE TRAILER HE SAID IT HAD TO MUCH DAMAGE SO I TOLD HIM YOU LOOKED AT WRONG TRAILER HE SAID OH WHAT

This company has ripped off more people allows crooks to rip you off and then rips off good sellers and never gives them there money crooks they belong in prison

Recently joined this community (3/28/22) to post an item for sale. Jetski to be specific. Added four (4) photos. Friday (4/1/22), I was unable to login (to view activity) with an error stating my account has been de-activated. Technical Support replied with the following statement: "Trust & Safety (OfferUp Support)

I would like them to stop allowing cashapp or paypal seller's completely. And during the corona epidemic it be nice if mandatory mailing was a thing. Everyone wants a dam guest over.

Avoid the scammers, flakes, and low ballers that use this app. As opposed to other similar apps ive had 0 good experiences with this one. Seems like it draws in the wrong kind of energy.

This social media platform is far worse than any Craigslist criticism or any other media outlet to buy/sell.

My classes (college level) tested OfferUp's policies.
1. A reporting customers who failed to follow up.
2. Buyer did not keep the appointment.
3. Shopper asked the question "Is this item available? "When it clearly states in the posting the item is available.
4. Scammers
5. Fraud- suppose it shoppers asking for the address often before making an offer, or stating they want to buy the item.

The students created profiles, actually did have items to sell and posted them. And we continued a month-long monitoring of the types of responses received, sales, negotiations, and reporting to Offer up any of the above incidences. What happened may surprise you.

Offer up without notice, blocked accounts for any student who wrote back to any of the above fitting sutuations confronting be supposed buyer; notified by reporting that buyer, and still OfferUp chose to block the account of sellers who confronted, and reported these non-serious individuals on this social media platform.

There you have it folks, socialism at work. Let's make America great, again. Let's not support such businesses or opportunities or selective companies like OfferUp.

Tatyona in Lewisville TX had a washer dryer combo for sale. I agreed to the price and asked when I could pick it up and if it were boxed. Answer was " no tomorrow no". A few days later I asked again, no reply. 15 days after the agreement I sent another note. Day 16 she replied with "sold". Obviously there are unscrupulous people selling things with multiple ads and picking highest bidder, which in eBay you'd understand. Offerup has a price or a make an offer. This case was a specific price. Tried one more time. Seller had what I wanted, I sent a question of "still available? Serial number?" Still waiting on a reply. This whole thing seems shady and of the only 2 people I've dealt with I'm horribly disappointed. And you can't review the seller unless the deal goes through! So I got screwed and can't let anyone know on their app. Don't use this crooked stupid thing! Sent two emails to offerup, chain mail reply saying if police were involved to let them know. No repercussions for unscrupulous sellers at all

I bought a treadmill for 300 dollars got home immediately stopped working. TRIED TO REVIEW THE PERSON WHO HAS FULL STARS AND THEY WONT LET ME... OTHER PEOPLE WILL GET SCAMMED AND OFFER UP DOES NOTHINF AT LEAST EBAY WILL CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT

I enjoy buying things off of Offer Up cuz they come as they say the items are and when it works out like that u'lol be 1 happy satisfied customer and buyer...

Useless. Never would let me sign up. It kept showing an error code in the middle of the page - before you enter anything:

To make matters worse, when I first signed up with a burner email for safety, it did not get me to enter the password twice for verification. A simple measure for safety, as I think I hit another number in my password!

The ads are so small you need a microscope to see them! No way to open a tab, let alone mutiple tabs to compare. Endless length of webpage, to greatly slow everything down!

-0- customer service if you have any question-I tried to use twitter to contact *******@offerupsupport, received an initial response within several hours, then nothing, like they closed the doors, gave everyone a week off, no reply to follow up requests, Seller and Buyer beware-if you have an issue, you will get ZERO support.

I tried to list a vape tank and it was immediately removed for collating TOS. That's ok. Their rules. But they have HUNDREDS of paid advertisements for vape equipment. You can even find CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PHARMACEUTICALS, over of which I've reported multiple times over the last couple months, and there it still stands. What a scam.

I was an amazing seller for 3 years with nearly 1000 sales and 300+ stars. They randomly decided to shadow ban me. I got messages on some items but anything new I posted received 0 views and messages. I kept mailing support and they would say "oh sorry our mistake" then enable my lasted batch of listings but NO new listings would go live. This went on for 5 months. Basically a shadow ban with zero feedback on your side but I'd still have sales (10 over 5 months) vs. 20-30 a month. THEN on my 5th or 6th email on enabling my auctions or making them go live, they just decided to ban me instead. I asked why and apparently some of my first few listings from 3 years back had a link to my facebook page. Other services just remove the links while offerup combs your text then bans you.

I was an awesome seller, I had 100+ followers. My customers loved me. I got Offerup business. But they refuse to unban me for no good reason. I didn't spam the same item. I didn't create 10 accounts for each city (like some do). I didn't rip anyone off. I sold everything at a DISCOUNT. This company is garbage.

Every time Offerup 'updates' their app (forced update, no option to stay old version), it GETS WORSE.
Examples: deletes ANY DIGITS from ad text. BLOCKS me from posting ads, as if they're banned items (THEYRE NOT).
GETS SLOWER with all the garbage ads.
User interface GETS WORSE.
AND NOW I CANT POST OR EDIT ADS ON A PC, which requires using a phone app, which sucks!
Now, on to 'customer support". There is none. They have no phone, no chat support, and NO ON EVER ANSWERS if you submit a ticket for help.

No wonder offerup bought out Letgo.
If Offerup keeps sticking it to consumers, i advise ALL users to go elsewhere.
