I took a certificate into the store to have it trimmed down to fit an 8x10 frame. The manager waited on me and informed me that Office Depot sold 81/2 by 11 frames, and that I wouldn't need to have the certificate trimmed, retaining its beautiful border. I tried to return an Open Box item I had less than 2 months. The store told me to call customer service. What a joke! I was on hold for 45 minutes for them to email a receipt to me. The person was able to see my receipt but was unable to email it to me even though she had taken my email address down. I was told to wait 24 hours. So I waited 24 hours to get an email with a BLANK receipt! I emailed them back (thinking they may have done this by accident) with NO response! Office Depot is a JOKE! What business runs this way with today's technology. They knew from the start they weren't giving me a replacement! I hope they are out of business in the near future. I know I won't be back!
This morning I visited the Office Depot located on 6211 N Kings Hwy, Alexandria, VA and as soon as I walked into the store, I was warmly greeted by Mr. Derek T. He was very pleasant and made me feel welcome at the store. There was another employee - Amy - who helped me with an online order for boxes which my husband never picked up. Amy took her time to find the online order in her system to make sure they were indeed cancel so that I can eventually get reimbursed. Both Derek and Amy were very helpful. I try SO hard to support brick & mortar stores. However, from now on I'll use Amazon and save the trip. I bought a USB hub for a cruise because ships are known to have very few outlets. To pack light, I removed the packaging. We empty our garbage cans before we leave on vacation. The outlet didn't work at all - it was DEFECTIVE. Despite that, I wasn't allowed to exchange or return it because there was no packaging. Amazon takes everything back. I'm guessing there won't be an Office Depot in my neighborhood much longer with such poor service.

Our office has been doing business with Office Depot for over 15 years. We are now being told that online purchases cannot be paid for using Office Depot Credit card. I have called and spoken to a number of representatives to come up with viable options. We were directed to email a request to Enable Account billing for ******* Account Services-USA.
We have NOT RECEIVED ANY responses, nor were we given any other service options.
Until this is resolved, we will not be using office depot, and absolutely will not recommend to business peers.

I purchased a DataVAC from this store (online) under the assumption that it would be compliant with US standard outlets and currents. When I received the package realized that it was made for use over-seas as it does not fit into any standard US outlet and it does not bring an adapter. Instead of assisting in receiving a replacement or a refund, I was simply dismissed.
The packaging of the DataVac clearly as a US flag on it and lists the voltage/current of 220V, but the correct voltage for use in the US should be 120 volts single phase/60 hz. The DataVac that was sent to me was 220 volts single phase/50 hz. I cannot use the product at all.
There is no "level 3" wording anywhere on the product package. And all boxes have expiration dates 8. 22. 2022 or 8. 25. 2022. Unable to create return online. Customer Service won't help!

I purchased a trackball online, and needed to return it. I took it to a store, and they told me that if it was purchased online, I couldn't return it at the store. So then I called customer service and was told that I was past the two weeks allowed for returns. I told her that I tried to return it within the return period, and was only past it because the store would not take the return, and she said that the store should have accepted it. So then she told me that she got approval for the return and that someone would call to schedule a pickup. That was weeks ago, and no one ever called. The trackball is still here to be picked up. I went online to the live chat today, and typed in my problem, and the chat window closed. I opened the chat again, and typed in the problem again; the rep said to give him a minute to look up the order. Then the chat froze. I am sick and tired of Office Depot, and will be shopping at Staples or ordering from Amazon from now on.
Follow-up: Third try on Chat and got someone who told me that there was no record of a return being processed, but promised that someone would get in touch to pick up the return. We'll see.
I placed an order for Brother Printer from Office Depot online. They promised me to deliver on July 8 between 10 to 11 am in the morning. I did wait till 5 pm on July 8, but printer did not delivered. I called 3 times in between to their customer care department and they were telling me different stories and were trying to eat time. They were misguided me. They took buy phone number for call back but they never called me and were trying to defense the reality. In my last phone call on July 8 at 5pm the last told me that she do know why my printer is not delivered and she told me someone will call me immediately and will give me a reason why it is not delivered. No one called me till 10:30am on July 9 and when I called that lady was saying some different story. Then I was told that supervisor will call me and name of supervisor is Alexa but a usual no one called me. When I called at 3pm person tells me that there is no one working here called Alexa. But no one has answer of my printer which I already paid. Now they have put me on hold for 20 mins and they forwarded my phone call to voice message. They took money and now no one is answering for delivery. I would suggest not to buy from offie ever. Now I am trying to call and no one is answering the call. Do not buy anything from Office Depot.
I placed an order for some simple envelops with our logo printed. There was no mention of them being out of stock nor did I get an email explaining that when I placed the order. Instead I received an invoice and an estimated arrival date of July 5th 2022. When the product did not arrive by the 6th and my order was still marked shipping I ask what the delay was. The agent on the chat told me it was a printing issue and they'll be rushing it. Today, July 7th, I received an email from a different agent telling me the product is back ordered and it won't be shipping until late August. All that was needed was any type of communication or an alterative envelop option. Terrible business ethics and customer service. There is no chance I'll be using this company or would I advise anyone else to.
I called to get the email address to send my documents over to print and I pick them up. The first time I called I was placed on hold, then was disconnected. I called back then spoke with a gentleman and asked him, then he proceeded to tell me that it they don't give that out any more and it has to be done online. I would have to go in etc. so asked if I can get that information to do so. So he says "I just told you"! Mind you... he never did I needed the information to where I'm supposed to make the order to print. I called back to speak to the supervisor about it and he answered, I asked him if he could put me on the phone with the supervisor. I was on the phone for 35 minutes, then she gets on and gives me an attitude about how she can't just take the call and have customers in front of her. I stated to her that she could've answered and made me aware that she didn't forget about me and that she has a lot of customers in line so I could be aware of this, which i really didn't believe. Customer Service is terrible. This is 1730 Walden Ave location Cheektowaga.
I can guarantee I will NEVER buy from Office Depot again! They have failed to deliver our products 3 times on this order alone! The ONE other time we bought office furniture from them, they delivered the wrong desks! And it took weeks before we had the ones we ordered. The ONLY reason I ordered again from them is to match what we already had. The representatives keep trying to pass you off and have you call the shipping company. I bought the items from Office Depot, not the shipping company I should not have to call anyone else.
