I've been a loyal Olive Cabell customer, buying THREE pairs of $200 shoes just this year alone. Unfortunately, after my latest experience, I will NEVER buy from them again. I ordered a pair of navy laces from their website, but what they sent me is dark grey—nothing like the product they advertise. I sent them multiple images comparing: The laces they sent me vs. the actual navy laces I purchased from Amazon (which perfectly match my shoes). Their product photos on the website vs. the reality. These images clearly prove they sent me the wrong color, yet they've been treating this like something they need to "contemplate forever" instead of fixing it. No urgency. No action. Just silence and delay. For a company charging premium prices, this lack of accountability and customer service is unacceptable. I've supported them with hundreds of dollars, but after this, I'm done. Buyer beware—don't expect them to stand behind their products when they mess up.

I tried to buy a pair of shoes that ended up being out of stock. I got an email from their customer service asking if I could wait until they got a new batch, they didn't know how long it would be but I agreed to wait a few weeks. About 2 months later I wrote them again and asked for a refund from the shoes that never came in and were never shipped. And, AND - they refused to give me a refund! They never had the shoes in stock, never mailed me anything and still refused to refund me!
They offered me an extra $20 store credit to be able to keep my money. I said no. They offered me extra discounts to be able to keep my money, I said no. It's like my $150 was keeping the whole company alive. Eventually I had to have the bank reverse the charges on my card. This prompted 10 emails from a customer service person begging me to give them back - MY MONEY.
I can't imagine how bad the corporate culture is but to the employees, find something less savage.

The bad reviews are accurate. Sadly I looked at the reviews after I made my purchase. I ordered 2 pair of shoes prompted by seeing an Instagram ad. Their shoes don't come in half sizes so I ordered a 9, I wear an 8.5. I received one pair about a month after I ordered them. They were too big so I returned them and canceled the other pair that I hadn't received yet. I was credited for the pair I canceled but still haven't received my credit for the returned shoes that were delivered back on 10/30/22 via USPS (I have delivery confirmation). I keep emailing customer service and get excuse after excuse for why the refund hasn't been processed. The process is ridiculous, it shouldn't be this difficult! At this point it seems that Oliver Cabell intentionally tries to keep your money. They may have a legit store in Soho, NYC but their online store is terrible. Please save yourself time and money…there are plenty other online stores that have a reputable business.
