Here's how you could improve... close down. I used you to get a person to do decking, painting, fence and much more. The person you sent was absolutely useless. I complained to you and you dodged the situation. Luckily I got rid of him shortly after he started before he completely wrecked my place. I lost $3,000 deposit on this incompetent 'handyman' and it's been a while. Anybody who sees the 'work' would swear it was done by children. In the meantime my place looks rather nasty from the street. I felt totally ripped off and have been reticent to get the work re-done due to being 'gun-shy' with trades people and various personal matters that have cropped up.
The clientele oneflare attracts are predominantly tyrekickers and nickel and dimers. They want skilled tradespeople for the price of a 16 year old hospitality worker.
Moreover oneflare has an unfair contract term that makes you cancel your account in writing *15 days before your next monthly payment is due*. There is no need for this.
2 weeks isn't long enough develop an informed opinion about whether its any good or not. You need a full month. Oneflare shouldn't gouge new users for an extra months payment if they decide the platform isn't much chop.
Cancelling a subscription is instant with one click of a button. Its a largely automated website that connects tradies to leads. You are either signed up or you arent. The idea that oneflare needs 15 days to "process" cancellations is absolute garbage.
Oneflare intentionally traps people into paying for an extra month by making it unnecessarily onerous to cancel with this 15 day rule.

Fake advertising effecting other businesses! They say 10 best asbestos removalists in Brisbane, yet every single junk company they recommend is on their third party site paying them fees! Jims Asbestos removal had a lot of bad google reviews until they shut down their google acount and created new ones. These people also don't verify if the asbestos removal service is even legal.
These companies should be shut down. No qualifications & just bum off firms that put the actual work in to get licensed and qualified.

Recently had a problem with an elderly customer seemingly stuck back in the 70's regarding pricing. I contact Oneflare support and a Oneflare staff member named * said, and I quote
"The sooner old dinosaurs like Peter (the customer) die the better off we all are!" and "I can't wait to see what he is going to say", and "Come on Peter. Hurry up Peter you old Fossil" and "I love this sort of stuff seeing what clueless idiots like this say" and "I'm married to a tradie and I know what fools like this are like"

I moved cities 5 years ago, I got a new job, a new partner, even a new doctor, dentist and lawyer... I was set... Except I didn't have an accountant, that's fine I will find one and get that sorted at Tax time... which quite happily came and went again 5 times, yes FIVE times before I could overcome the overwhelming anxiety to even begin the look for an accountant. Then I find OneFlare, in literally less than it took to get to the next Ad break in Melrose Place - I had logged on, created my account and listed the job to find an accountant... I had never hears if rhis site and of course with wedding planning was apprehence at first however I was very suprised and happy. I received at least 3 responses within 24hrs and all were very professional, great customer service and reasonably quoted. I ended up hiring Kerin & Joy celebrant sisters who have been amazing to deal with. I would definately recommend them and this site.
I have just been informed that if leads are uncontactable or do not respond suppliers only have 72 hours to request a refund on that lead otherwise your Refund will be declined. We feel this is not enough time!. Sometimes we may not get hold of leads for afew days! This new 72 hour time limit was put in place on the 3rd January 2019 When most tradespeople are closed down for the xmas break. I was informed I should have read the email that was sent out on the 3rd January. I found the email in my spam folder and no where in the body of the email does it mention a 72 hour time frame to request refunds. I guess this is just an extra way for them to make money. When I mentioned this to them they claim you have to 'click' through the email to 'Find Out more.' A very disappointed long term supplier on Oneflare. I guess we are just a number now.

We apologize the email wasn't more detailed. We included the main points of the change and why we were changing it and then urged the reader to click the link to be taken to the Help Centre article we had explaining all the finer details.
We understand that we implemented this change just after the start of the year and so some businesses were on holidays and may not have opened the email, or, in your case it had directed to your Spam folder. This is why we had a banner displayed at the top of your account with a link to the detailed Help Centre article.
The reason Oneflare implemented refund requests is to give businesses easier and quicker access to refunds and to encourage you to contact the customers immediately after quoting - which has been proven to be the optimal time to get in touch with them. If you're unable to get in touch with a customer, you can request a refund at anytime within that 72 hour period so we can investigate for you.
You stated that sometimes you don't get hold of leads for days, the refund request is the perfect remedy for that. No more waiting around trying to contact the customer, just let us know they're not responsive ASAP and we will take care of the rest.

I contacted Oneflare and within minutes I was contacted by three tradesmen offering to give us a quote on doing our job of pointing and painting our roof. Within three days we had selected a tradesman and exactly one week after contacting Oneflare we had a tradesman on site prepping the job :)
This is a rort, good money making for them and bad for us the worker.
There is no way of auditing the leads and ensuring they are genuine.
They say they only send out 5 leads, but who checks they don't send out to 10 or 50 and then they get 10 x $7.
If I am the only lead then I get the job it is and investment.
If I don't get a lead then it is a waste of money.
They could be using bots sending out false leads.
How do I know they are real people and not false leads, there is no way of monitoring.
The person requesting to get 5 to 10 quotes should pay the $7 for getting Oneflare to arrange for 5 - 10 quotes.

If the quotes sent to the customer by a business, are not viewed or the customer changes their mind, we are able to return the quote back to the business. I used Oneflare to find a removalist company and was very happy with the results. I was given 3 excellent quotes. It was easy to correspond with each company and to choose one and decline the others. If needed I could have received further quotes. A great service, very useful.
I was looking for a quote for a removalist for a short distance move. I sent my request and was contacted by three reputable companies within an hour. I was very happy as it took out the hassle of having to shop around.
You quote and quote and no one cares and they are just want cheapest job and each quote cost you $20 and you will have to pay even if you dun get the job, waste of time and money, system is full of crap, you find them on top link at google search doesnt mean they are good.

I hired a plumber from oneflare and he overcharged for the job without even fixing the problem. What's even worse is that this tradie Justin Bonacci from Bontech plumbing rang to abuse me calling me a fat arse selfish $#*! and terrible mother I was a horrible bad person according to him even though I didn't know him. All this because I wanted him to return to fix the leaking toilet issue he changed me for and didn't do so I asked for a refund. I complained to oneflare and they did nothing about it

Having removalists call me to provide quotes and being able to read reviews helped me make my decision. After weeks of being unable to decide I made a decision on the spot when I signed up with oneflare.
I used this app as a contractor. I have had couple of cases that I couldn't reach the customer I got charged for it.

I am a Tax Agent/Accountant who has successfully tendered plenty of work on Airtasker. I decided to try Oneflare as well - BIG MISTAKE! So many fake leads absolutely dishonest, system I will be contacting Consumer Affairs. My phone would me full of texts each morning with fake leads as they must use a call centre in India to generate them overnight. Airtasker has a much better system.

The tax agent and accountant categories are especially popular on Oneflare which will be why you're receiving so many notifications of leads from your selected service areas. If they're annoying you, you can switch them off via your Account Settings > Notifications at anytime. From this page you can also limit the time window in which you receive these texts, as customers tend to post jobs at all hours of the day and night.

If a Quote seems to good, Then the Phone number never answers, You are calling Rajid back in India, May be good for clients, But they need to be honest with leads 1 in ten people will actually answer the phone. Oneflare is such a brilliant system without having to troll through the yellow pages or the internet for that matter to find your required tradie or technician, they come to you after listing your job specs and receiving at least 3 quotes takes so much hassle and stress of getting a job done.
I could not recommend Oneflare enough just BRILLIANT.

Advance notice needs to be given to suspend an account and only thru an account manager, funny the only time you get to speak to somebody. As for the leads not for tradies crap leads and overpriced for what you're getting very little flexibly. HiPages offers better service.

Businesses are advised upon signing up that a cancellation request needs to be made 15 days before your plans next renewal date. Your account manager is also directly contactable during office hours and are always happy to assist you. I'm dissapointed to hear that you feel that the leads were not suitable for your business. Being based in Australia's capital of Canberra you have as much chance of seeing a Pollie drinking red wine at a bar then getting a call or Tradie to attend your property for a quote. I attempted to register with Oneflare but as they didn't have my industry or profession listed they told me that I couldn't. When I informed them that my industry had a growth rate of 28% per annum and when I requested to liaise with someone else higher, they told me that I couldn't. Hi Zane, thanks for your review. I'm disappointed to hear you've had a poor experience with the leads. Predominantly we find that customers using Oneflare hire the business with the most reviews and price is not as important as the reputation and qualification of the business they are hiring.
The 15 day cancellation policy is disclosed to businesses when they sign up. If you are in a position where you are not sure if you are willing to continue I would recommend requesting to cancel your plan just in case the remainder of your experience shows Oneflare will not work for your business. You can always choose to sign up if you change your mind later.
