The painters known as Aus Bee Tong don't speak a lot of English, but they are pretty handy with a paint brush! While they get on with the job of painting, Andrew, another member of the team is careful to ask questions, explain procedures and to ensure that the painters understand exactly what you want. Here's how you could improve... close down. I used you to get a person to do decking, painting, fence and much more. The person you sent was absolutely useless. I complained to you and you dodged the situation. Luckily I got rid of him shortly after he started before he completely wrecked my place. I lost $3,000 deposit on this incompetent 'handyman' and it's been a while. Anybody who sees the 'work' would swear it was done by children. In the meantime my place looks rather nasty from the street. I felt totally ripped off and have been reticent to get the work re-done due to being 'gun-shy' with trades people and various personal matters that have cropped up.
Oneflare helps me win more work. There are however some things i am not happy with, inhave used oneflare for a long time, back when it was still reletively new and fresh, the prices to quote were much more fair such at between 3 and 5 dollars per quote. They all sit at at around 7 to 8 dollars per quote now, also i have caught out oneflare many times now with feedback from customers that the 3 quote system is a big lie, you are not competing against two other quotes, oneflare simply open up the floodgates for anyone and everyone to quote so they make maximum money without consideration for you, i habe had customers tell me they have had 10-15 people quote them before i get the chance to quote them, sometimes i get a new notification that a job has been requested by a customer and then it turns out this person requested the job many hours ago and the job has already been filled causing me to spend 7-8 dollars for absolutely nothing, that could have gone towards my lunch for the day. Justifying things like this as a system glitch simply does not cut it as it has been happening for a long time and continues to happen. So yes i do win some work from oneflare however it is far from being a perfect and honest system and has become a much more greedy company since it started out.
I posted a job with a description about needing to get quotes for a QCAT tribunal hearing. My deck is needing to be dismantled and completely rebuilt and this was mentioned in my job description. The job will probably cost in the vicinity of $80,000-$100,000. I believe I got 7 responses and about three people came out to measure up and quote the job. They have all shown on the Oneflare site, "declined" and three gave a variety of reasons; too busy, job too big and the fact that this matter is subject to a QCAT decision. I feel very let down by the process and after speaking with Oneflare have been told that they are just a platform for tradespeople to find work. My advice to anyone going on this site is to look up an individual tradie who advertises on the internet without using these platforms. Onflare can not assist when this kind of thing goes down.
I have since found out from one of the applicants for the quote that he is still going ahead with the quote and he does not know why Oneflare has marked the job as being "declined".

Warning! Scamming company called " Apex Logistics Solution " which is listed on Oneflare.
They took $1000 of my deposit to transport my furnitures but they didn't provide the service and refused to communicate.
They contacted me through Oneflare.com.au
I have reported the case to Oneflare but they didn't do anything about it and still let that business being listed.
I couldn't write a review as they disabled my review right.
Basically, they tried to shut my mouth up.
I have lost the money over the Scam company and I don't even get to let other people know about it. I have showed them all the evidences. I reckon all the reviews on Oneflare are frauds as they will take down 1 star review of yours.
Stay away from this website.

Unfortunately in your case you chose to publish a review that we could not legally publish due to the language you used and your choice to call out individuals within the company which is a breach of defamation law. At Oneflare we provide you with the opportunity to quote on leads posted by customers who are looking at getting jobs done. If, at any point, the customer indicates they no longer want to go ahead with the job anymore we are more than happy to refund your quote to you. At this time, depending on your category, leads will be priced based on a number of factors such as the value and location of the job. Lower priced leads means lower demand jobs and vice versa - but the cost to quote will also be specified to you before you quote so you can pick and choose which leads to spend your money on.
With out leads, you can also be assured that the customer you're quoting for is verified with out Verified and Supplied features. If the phone number says it's Verified you'll know the number has already been checked by Oneflare and is correct so be sure to look out for those. We will keep you updated along the way by letting you know when the customer has seen your quote, reviews, website and profile.

APPAULING customer service! They deactivate my account that I was paying for without giving me any warning after a customer complained and without hearing my side of the story!
I received an email saying 'Please contact us regarding your account' and next thing I know I receive another email under the subject 'Re: Re Your refund request was unsuccessful' letting me know that since I didn't contact them about the complaint(what complaint?) they have deactivated my account. They did it on Friday around 4pm so by the time I realised that it was too late to speak to anyone and had to wait until Monday without being able to claim leads and get jobs.
The customer service compare to other similar apps is simply APPALLING! They have no common sense for anything. Also they will NOT refund you for a lead because you couldn't get a contact with the customer or the customer didn't get back to you IF when THEY call the customer the customer will answer... So basically your credit is hanging on a random luck if the customer will answer the phone or not when they try to contact them... Ridiculous

The email you are referring to was a reply to an email thread that started on the 25th of February, we apologize that the title of the email was confusing.
When a customer reports a complaint against a business we take this very seriously. We asked you to get in touch with us on the 25th (with an email clearly labelled "Oneflare - Please Contact") so we could discuss this issue with you before taking further action. Due to your lack of communication on the matter, despite multiple email requests to call us, we temporarily restricted your account after 5 days.
We can see that you have now been in contact with a Support Advisor over the phone, providing your side of the story and the matter has now been resolved.
In regard to customers being unresponsive, our refund request feature provides a refund if the customer is confirmed to be unresponsive. However, if a Support Advisor does get in contact with the customer when we are conducting the follow up, we ask the customer for an update and supply it to you and/or we advise that you have attempted to contact the customer and tell them you will try again. As the customer has been confirmed responsive, your refund request will be unsuccessful and you receive an email instantly to advise you of this.

The number of businesses who have quoted is displayed to inform you if you are the first, second or third business to quote and the time when the lead was posted. We do allow the job poster to request 3 more quotes, however, this is rarely the case and has only happened once in the last 12 months for your profession (the job you won).
