While they get on with the job of painting, Andrew, another member of the team is careful to ask questions, explain procedures and to ensure that the painters understand exactly what you want. Here's how you could improve... close down. I used you to get a person to do decking, painting, fence and much more. The person you sent was absolutely useless. I complained to you and you dodged the situation. Luckily I got rid of him shortly after he started before he completely wrecked my place. I lost $3,000 deposit on this incompetent 'handyman' and it's been a while. Anybody who sees the 'work' would swear it was done by children. In the meantime my place looks rather nasty from the street. I felt totally ripped off and have been reticent to get the work re-done due to being 'gun-shy' with trades people and various personal matters that have cropped up.
The good:
* You can definitely make extra income and generate leads with repeat business but it's more rare in my field and then there's the frustrating experience of quoting, see below:
The bad:
* Clients are not told that quoting costs us money, when you consider the quoting fee, travel expenses & time it is simply not worth it for smaller jobs. A lot of the time it's a stab in the dark experience where the client won't even respond after seeing the quote resulting in a financial loss.
* Having to blind compete with others on quoting makes it impossible to even get a reply from clients and unless you're quoting first you may not stand a chance.
* Clients don't always submit a review or complain that they can't find the link. Once you sent the reminder there's no option to re-send it again through the system.
I understand it's a business model but compared to say Airtasker you can't help but feel ripped off when your credits are lost when a client has simply 'seen' your quote. Yes Airtasker has it's share of issues but at least you only get charged when you actually complete a job. How about we have half of our credits returned instead in such cases and give us an incentive to quote more..
When you do see customers promoting your brand over social media, make sure to engage with them. Like their post and even share it if it's a compelling piece of content. These testimonials are not hard for a company to find and are easily shared with your online audience.
Oneflare do not verify that a customer is genuine. Anyone can post a job for anything and leave a fake number if they like. Oneflare just puts an automated price on it based on a few ticks in boxes and then sells it to unsuspecting business operators.
I thought the leads were verified. Overpriced for the quality provided. Avoid unless you are really hard-up for business.

At this time, depending on your category, leads will be priced based on a number of factors such as the value and location of the job. Lower value jobs will be price lower and vice versa. The cost to quote will also be specified to you before you quote so you can pick and choose which leads to spend your money on.
With our leads, you can also be assured that the customer you're quoting for is verified with our Verified and Supplied features. If the phone number says it's 'Verified' you'll know the number has already been checked by Oneflare and is correct so be sure to look out for those. We will keep you updated along the way by letting you know when the customer has seen your quote, reviews, website and profile.
We will also refund your quote if the customer indicates they're not longer going ahead with the job, or if the quote hasn't been seen within 48 hours and you haven't attempted to contact the customer.

As a business owner I found the quality of the leads they provided to be extremely poor, they charged me for 3 months service in my first month because I went over my poor quality leads quoter. When I questioned the lead quality and the additional charges I was in very lengthy replay told tough luck you are on your own and not getting a refund. I am reporting this company to my financial institution for credit card fraud. Customers or consumer may find it good as they are not paying for the poor quality leads.

Where do I start? Since July 2016 I have spent $1690 on Oneflare.
Since Last August I have spent $485 and have not gotten a single job - Yep, none!
So glad this was brought to my attention as it is so easy to just keep going based on the 'what if' of someone booking through your quote. The old subscription model seemed to work better, as I got 7 jobs From July 2016-August 2017 (Total of $4255 worth of work, so only small jobs - still something though!)
Waste of money since then.

I have been using Oneflare for several months now and the platform delivers quality information that I have not been receiving from other sources. Technically it is far ahead of those service companies operating on a call center model.
I have found that the refund policy is reasonably fair when the client makes no attempt to contact the operator. Those that complain about this policy have not experienced other organisations that simply charge the operator the lead fee irrespective of lack of contact.
I cannot comment about other segments of the business, but all i know from personal experience is that the lead fees are more than reasonable
I have also found the organisation receptive to suggestions designed to improve the service experience.
The only criticism I have of the system is that it would be good to be able to write notes about each job

Start out slowly and judge for yourself, As you become familiar with the application you will appreciate what it offers and always no system is perfect.

Paying for leads that clearly have been given away already. When you make a phone call and advise them about it they say its a missed opportunity. When you havent even had the opportunity to quote is a bit harsh! After ringing one client they confirmed that they had notified of job awarded but Oneflare continued to advertise lead. Dodgy oneflare!

We rely on customers to update their job leads and unfortunately they do not always do so, I recommend that you always check how recently a job has been posted and how many businesses have quoted on a job before you choose to pay for a lead.

Have successfully engaged the services of a few businesses now for various things and they've all come up great so far! The reviews and stats of previous jobs won is a great indication you are putting your needs in good hands.
I was looking for an end of lease cleaning service in Sydney and came across Oneflare. After posting my job, I was very quickly connected to 4 professional replies with great pricing and went on to select one to complete the job.
Much easier than crawling through google looking for quotes on multiple different sites.
I used to get a fair competition with around 7-10 business for the quote. However, from last month they have introduce a subscription base system where you have to pay minimum $100 a month and gets $40 credits for that month.
Businesses who are not subscribed are just wasting their money and they are trying to push the subscription businesses and don't care for those who doesn't have the subscription.
I have noticed from a few weeks that mostly my accepted jobs are not seen by the customers at all as they can only see the subscription business on the top.
In conclusion, Oneflare is only draining your money and wasting your energy and time. So think about it before you sign up..

The refund problem is a pain in the arse with multiple requests made after 6 weeks of no response from client. But. The system overall makes money. Yes it works. But you will have to make multiple requests to get things done. The staff are friendly though.

It's about my account was manipulated by a company accountant in 1997. I do not know what to do to recover the huge lost in shares a dividends. I run a legal firm and registered with Oneflare (and now regret that). I do not trust them because like singles web sites (who put up fake profiles) Oneflare puts up fake job requests. As a service provider they then make a windfall from each service provider quoting for fake jobs. Dodgy brothers personified! :(

I was first told there was no other competitors in Brisbane but then I found out there is a lot and most of them were quoting $30 to do a job. It costs more in chemicals to do the job. So I don't know what chemicals they are using. Just because they have public liability insurance doesn't make them a reputable company.

I have had dealings with the customer service and accounts personnel as a contractor. I found there Payment policy's and customer service terrible. And after paying for 3 months of visibility on there directory I did not receive one inquiry. This website is a SCAM and they have left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Hundreds of dollars flushed down the toilet.

In regard to customers not knowing you pay a fee to quote, we completed a survey recently where the vast majority of customers reported they assumed the businesses paid to quote on their jobs. However, I will be sure to pass this on to the correct teams so we can consider increasing awareness about this with customers.
If you ever have a customer who's having issues writing a review, please let us know and we can help them get it posted. The reason we only allow one review request per job is because we don't want businesses to be seen to be harassing customers with multiple of these email requests. However, you're more than welcome to send them another request for a review via the customer's contact details we've provided you if you'd like.
The difference between Airtasker and Oneflare is that Airtasker charges commission for every job you complete whereas Oneflare charges a connection fee for each lead, this system allows us to keep this fee low and competitive whilst also providing refunds for jobs that don't go ahead and refunds for unresponsive customers if you're a Featured business.
