The painters known as Aus Bee Tong don't speak a lot of English, but they are pretty handy with a paint brush! While they get on with the job of painting, Andrew, another member of the team is careful to ask questions, explain procedures and to ensure that the painters understand exactly what you want. Here's how you could improve... close down. I used you to get a person to do decking, painting, fence and much more. The person you sent was absolutely useless. I complained to you and you dodged the situation. Luckily I got rid of him shortly after he started before he completely wrecked my place. I lost $3,000 deposit on this incompetent 'handyman' and it's been a while. Anybody who sees the 'work' would swear it was done by children. In the meantime my place looks rather nasty from the street. I felt totally ripped off and have been reticent to get the work re-done due to being 'gun-shy' with trades people and various personal matters that have cropped up.

Be sure to be as proactive as possible in contacting customers as soon as you send your quote through for best results. We will also automatically refund your credits if the customer indicates they're no longer going ahead with the job.
It would be a great idea to improve your profile before quoting as customers are looking for qualified businesses they can trust. This includes getting reviews from past customers external to Oneflare, adding in any trade relevant certificates, licences or qualifications, uploading past work photos and answering the FAQ's at the bottom of your profile. I've been using Oneflare as a primary advertising product for the past two years and have found Oneflare to very successful.
Have just upgraded to the $1,000 per year premium package.
It certainly has been an educating learning curve and you only get out what you put in.
The bit I like the most is impressing your clients you create so much exposure and repeat business down the track, you pretty much wait for the phone to ring same time next year.
I do believe all the leads are real BUT yes there're hundreds of inconsiderate customers who you call / text / email several times over and will not ever reply back to you even if they're on fire - yes this is very disappointing but this is no point anything to do with oneflare just inconsiderate human beings wasting everyone's time with a click here click there mobile phone society.
I know Oneflare will send out between 150 to 200 parties each month to me so now I'm super duper smart and very selective to the ones I actually apply too = you don't pick the spuds and duds or anyone requesting a DJ under the age of 21.
You also make sure you get a deposit up front at least 4 weeks prior and don't start entertaining on the night till you get paid first.
I have an excellent product and if somebody doesn't want me that's their loss as I can pretty much pick up 6 to 8 weddings per month all of which go onto be extremely happy with my services.
It's the way of the future how else can you gain business - if you work hard and smart you'll never be out of work.
To all those hundreds of people who never returned my calls = get stuffed and stay off oneflare and go and watch netflix

I was impressed with the professional approach of Oneflare. They communicated with me appropriately and timely. No uneccesary emails were received.
I generally never post any feedback but I had to put this in after spending well over $500.00 just on quotes and not a single job. I have patiently waited for jobs and when they do come, you need to spend $6.4 per quote or whatever it is which we always do. But, after the 30th quote now, I have gotten a bit fed up and decided to post this review.
I have done everything textbook. Purchased a $50.00 Credit Pack, daily checks quote on everything, even prepared to undercut pricing by 50%.
But the amount of jobs that come in for leads are literally two a month in my area (North Sydney). I have even offered free phone advise just to take my first job and have followed up with customers.
On other platforms, we have over 1000 Feedback, a rating of 4.83 out of 5 (Leaders and partner in our field) so I can definitely say it isn't us.
One if the major issues we find at least in the IT field is that most customers just want a quote. They are not serious and if they are, they are expecting to pay $20.00 an hour (that includes visits).
Although all customers are verified (I have never gotten a fake number) they are genuinely not that interested and only went on the site to look for cheap pricing or quotes they want to use to compare.
Thus, like others I would recommend looking at other alternatives if you are looking for leads and generating business.
Oneflare support staff are professional however and I have never had any issues with their systems and think there platform is easy to use. Just the leads need to be qualified a bit in my opinion.
NOTE: we have been on this platform for well more over then 4 months and have gone to the point where we quoted $50.00 for a site flat rate just to visit to help a customer and we are a multi certified IT partner company (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco) with leads advising us "they will get back to us".

A painter Lolite Painting Services (name of the painter is Kifayat) whom I found on Oneflare never turned up to do the job. Kifayat inspected the site on Tuesday 1st December, quoted and confirmed the job for $200. We agreed on the price and then booked for Saturday 5th December at 7am. He never bothered to call or show up to the job. I even bought paint for him to use. After getting up at 6:30am to get prepared, I then waited until 7:30am for Kifayat. After he did not show up or call me, I tried to phone him 2 times and left 2 voicemails but he never answered his phone. I also sent him 3 text messages on Saturday between 7:30am and 8am. Kifayat never responded to even apologise! After 8am on Saturday morning, I finally gave up and sent him a text saying don't bother, and that the job is cancelled. I found this business to be very unreliable and unprofessional. Worst experience and extremely frustrating. Tried to write a review on Oneflare's site about him and they rejected it. Very unfair.

Great idea, like that fact that you can get some many responses in place and then pick which one you want.
Lead credits has gone up in price and quality of leads has dropped. Info is very vague so quoting is a big waste of money

Leads are priced based on a number of factors including the demand for the job, the amount of work required and the type of customer who has posted the job. The price to quote is then displayed to you before you commit, this is so that you can pick and choose which leads are worth quoting on.

The leads are not real. Just throwing away money, it's a scam. Don't know how they are getting away with it, absolute waste of money

I'm sorry to hear you believe our leads aren't real. All leads on Oneflare are posted by customers via the site but I share your frustration with customers who aren't responsive.
To increase your chances of getting in touch with customers, I'd encourage you to quote on 'Verified' leads. This means the customer has gone out of their way to confirm their contact details are correct and will be more likely to respond.
Updating your profile with your trade-specific qualifications, photos of past work, insurances and inviting customers to leave a review for you after you've completed their job, will encourage customers to get in touch more often as well.
All businesses on Oneflare will receive a refund if the customer lets us know they're no longer going ahead with the job. Additionally, if you're a Premium business, you can also request refunds for unresponsive customers so you can use those credits on a different and more responsive customer.
