Saw advertised price on contacts with a coupon for $15 a box. Went thru the whole process of ordering get ready to check out says total is $111 total. Then hit ship order and then that page said $247.They added on a $89 processing fee and $19 shipping. So I then wanted to find out if they charged me $89 processing because they gave me coupon discount so I made an order without using a coupon paying full price for contacts and the processing fee dropped to $14 with free shipping. So they are false advertising because if you use coupon code they get it back by charging you a high processing fee. The contacts were the same price either way. This practice should be against the law
I ordered contacts thinking they were going to be 30% off but they make the font so small i consider this deceptive marketing. Price should have been $31 and change plus tax and shipping but came out to like nearly $60. The customer service would not do anything and said sorry you did not order $99 worth of contacts to get that price.
Be careful because after you spend all the time trying to fill a contact prescription, they advertise the lowest rate online ($67 per box for a three month supply), of dalies multifocal (offered 50% discount) and then they charge you the same or more back in the form of insurance for shipping ($179) ha! And shipping ($9.95) which for me was $190 lol. So it actually brought my total up to higher than any other place you can find online. Classic bait and switch.
Opticontacts was the cheapest I found for my contacts by $50 over the nearest competitor and hundreds over my eye doctor (who couldn't even get the brand I ordered)
My order arrived in 6 days and have an expiration date 4 years away.
Overall I'm very pleased with this transaction.
Misleading! Watch for "processing charges" of $50 or more! Best price per box until they show you the $53 "Processing charge." Uh nope!
Placed my order shortly after getting my new prescription. Waited two weeks and still no shipping confirmation. Received an email coupon from them so, I responded asking about my order. I was told one more week. A week later - still nothing. Emailed again and was told this time, it would be two more weeks. At this point I asked to cancel. I called them and cancelled the order and was told I would get an email confirmation shortly. Six hours later, I called back and was told the cancellation would be sent by the following morning. Well, I had to call a third time and threaten getting my bank involved. Magically, the cancellation email showed up while I was on the phone with them.
Stay away from them. It's better to pay a little more from a reputable site than have to be jerked around for a month and then, have to go somewhere else for contacts.

Ordered from this company twice and had issues with slow shipping both times (indicates 2-3 day shipping and order was still sitting in progress 4 days later). I ordered from another online site 4 days after placing my order with Opticontacts and received it first! I gave them 2 chances and now I'm done.
My contacts were $40 and there were $50 worth of BS fees to get my contacts. Even worse, when I needed to return the contacts the fees are non refundable just the $40 for the contacts. Just BS all around. Definitely go anywhere else to buy your contacts. They advertise lower cost but it is actually the highest price I found without the option to refund.
You will notice different processing and shipping fees for the exact same products if you're a returning user vs. a new user. When logged in, they tried to charge me $81 to re-order a prescription. When logged out and entering my prescription information the same exact product with shipping and processing would have been $71. The shipping and processing fees were higher and the price per box of contacts was lower. They would have taken $81 from a returning customer like myself but $71 from a new user. No thanks. Order elsewhere.
Half the price of other online Contact Lens vendors. Will definitely continue to order!
Sitejabber says i have to write 100 characters, so the rest of this is just filler. Thats weird. I don't know what else I have to say to convince people to buy from OptiContacts, but I guess Sitejabber feels you want to read more instead of less. They must be the reason Twitter doubled their 140 characters too. If you're reading this, you already know that OptiContacts is cheap and fast. Now I'm just wasting your time because Sitejabber said I have to. I would not have wasted my time or yours, if I didn't think OptiContacts was worth it, but I hope they decide to go with another review service than the very-demanding Sitejabber.

I ordered one box of contacts at the promotional price, something I have done previously. The order was accepted and confirmed. Days later, they called and said that they cannot honor that order price as I had previously ordered from them (which it doesn't say anywhere on their website or promotion). They were willing to send it to me if I paid them double the price for "processing." This is totally deceptive and false advertising and bait and switch. They refused to honor the pricing they advertised AND was already accepted in the order. Total scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I am not sure what is most misleading about this site. Crazy inflated shipping prices or their 6.5% processing fee. But even more alarming is their prices. When visiting their website, google shopping, and amazon I am receiving three totally different prices. I am not sure whats going on with this company but I rather give me business to a honest business.
When I placed the order, there was no information about product back order delay or handling fee. But I did not receive my order within the promised delivery window and I was charge a $80 handling fee!

The best online ordering and customer service I have ever received. I was very impressed with how smooth and fast the whole process was from start to end. I felt valued as a customer, given the lowest price online, and received my contacts in just two days with no shipping charge. I am going to be a lifetime customer of OptiContacts.
They were to be on sale but added $40 handling fee. From a male individual and not a COMPANY. I feel like he might me ordering on sale and sending to others at high price from him? Never paid $40+ handling fees. Did arrive but not made in US but from an individual and not company. Would like a business card or to know where he got these.
This is a warning that the pricing OptiContacts advertises is very misleading as they show a price but when you are ready to check out they add over twice the amount for fees and shipping. The FTC should shut this business down!
I spoke with customer service four or five times trying to resolve the issue of opticontacts delivering to the wrong address. They claim to that they delivered to my PayPal address which is different than the address that I had stated on the order the original order that I placed with opticontacts online. I had one customer service rep repeat himself at least 8 times telling me that as soon as they receive the return then they can issue the contacts to my corrected address. I told him I just wanted to cancel and get my refund and they said no we have to wait until we get your contacts back. After much investigation to the wrong address with the post office I found out that they were delivered there. I never received notification or an email that stated that there was a return in progress.
My wife did not notice that there was a $100 processing fee. I asked the person to cancel it when the office opened in the morning. They could not do it, stated that the order had been processed, and there was nothing that he could do about it. I asked the person if he had ever paid a $100 processing fee. He admitted that he never has paid a $100 processing fee when he has purchased items online.
I did have to wait a few extra days because the lenses I ordered were out of stock, but overall I am very happy with the transaction. They sent an email right away to let me know that it would take a few extra days, which I appreciated. It was helpful that they were able to confirm my prescription with the doctor's office so that I didn't have to make any phone calls. I am new to wearing contacts and I am very happy with how easy it was to order these.
If the cost of insurance and processing and shipping can be determined beforehand, regardless of the size of my order, OptiContacts should be upfront about these substantial costs at the start of the ordering process, instead of at the end.
They have hidden costs not disclosed until they ship. They advertise free shipping but never give it. I paid for 3 day shipping and it is now 2 weeks and I don't have them. They assured me they would be here 2 days ago. When I called for customer support, the first time they disconnected me and I had to call back. The high reviews you see when you Google the company have to be a scam.
My optician gave me the wrong prescription and I had submitted an order before I noticed the mistake. I had to return my order and they kept a 'handling fee' and shipping charges of over thirty dollars. I was just going to use the refund to reorder the correct prescription, but I will not be ordering from them again and they can stick the outrageous handling fee they charged where the sun don't shine.
To begin with, most of the contact lens sites are charging enormous handling fees. Opti-Contacts charged us a $38.00 handling fee - seriously? I decided to pay it because the price would have still been decent with the rebate. But that's where the second scam comes in. They list a rebate on the page for the contacts. When you click on the rebate box, it gives you the amount of the rebate if you have a new Rx and if you buy a year's supply - 4 boxes. But it doesn't give you the dates and that rebate had already expired. When I called to complain, they said it was still listed on the website so that people who had already purchased their contacts could still access it. Will never buy from them again.
I just wanted to write a review about opticontacts and say they really do honor their guarantee of matching other online prices within 7 days. I am saving big dollars on my acuvues and never buying from my optomitrist again.
It's been a whole process. I should've received my contacts already, however, I'm getting concerned. They're still not here, and I'm getting emails asking about surveys / how I'm enjoying my purchase or OptioContacts. I'm not. I haven't received them. It's been 6 days.

I am not sure how a company like this one is still in business. Did not ship my first order, promised to re-ship with free next day air, a month later and still no contacts. Was forced to have the BBB step in and the company is still not taking action to make my order right. It's a constant fight, and for what?... to save a few bucks. Save yourself the headache and go with a more reputable company.
