Saw advertised price on contacts with a coupon for $15 a box. Went thru the whole process of ordering get ready to check out says total is $111 total. Then hit ship order and then that page said $247.They added on a $89 processing fee and $19 shipping. So I then wanted to find out if they charged me $89 processing because they gave me coupon discount so I made an order without using a coupon paying full price for contacts and the processing fee dropped to $14 with free shipping. So they are false advertising because if you use coupon code they get it back by charging you a high processing fee. The contacts were the same price either way. This practice should be against the law
I ordered 8 boxes of contacts on order #*******. After using 2 partial boxes, it became clear that the product was defective. I contacted the company and they will not provide a refund for defective boxes or the handling/processing fees. DO NOT ORDER from this company - they do not stand behind their product and took too long to respond. Meanwhile, I do not have contacts

I did a google search to try and get some good pricing on my contact lens. Google took me to their site( Opticontacts) because they advertised $49.00 per box. At the check out it added another $65.00 for set up fee. They got me in the door but then added a crazy convenience fee. I was not going for that, so I went over to Lens.com and ordered my lens. I ordered contacts thinking they were going to be 30% off but they make the font so small i consider this deceptive marketing. Price should have been $31 and change plus tax and shipping but came out to like nearly $60. The customer service would not do anything and said sorry you did not order $99 worth of contacts to get that price.
I have ordered contacts online in the past but never glasses. I decided to give OptiContacts a try for both contacts and glasses. The contacts were backordered, which my doctor had warned me about. The company remained in constant contact with me, providing regular updates as to the status. As for the glasses, I followed the steps outlined on the site. Sadly, the glasses did not fit when they arrived. My eye doctor said it was because I have a small face and I need to be fitted in a store to ensure the glasses fit properly. I contacted OptiContacts and the representative had the postage paid return label in my email before we finished the call. This company is amazing in every way. I will definitely order contacts through them in the future.
Opticontacts was the cheapest I found for my contacts by $50 over the nearest competitor and hundreds over my eye doctor (who couldn't even get the brand I ordered)
My order arrived in 6 days and have an expiration date 4 years away.
Overall I'm very pleased with this transaction.
Ordered from this company twice and had issues with slow shipping both times (indicates 2-3 day shipping and order was still sitting in progress 4 days later). I ordered from another online site 4 days after placing my order with Opticontacts and received it first! I gave them 2 chances and now I'm done.
I clicked on a online promo for air optix hydra Glyde. The price was 9.98 per box. Once you get to checkout it doubles the price due to a processing fee. The price should have been 79.00 for 8 boxes, but at check out it went up to 179.00. I called customer service and they said this was due to a processing fee. Scammers, and fraudulent advertising!
It's been a whole process. I should've received my contacts already, however, I'm getting concerned. They're still not here, and I'm getting emails asking about surveys / how I'm enjoying my purchase or OptioContacts. I'm not. I haven't received them. It's been 6 days.
When I ordered my air optics Night and day contacts are paid for quicker shipping. The last time but didn't this time. Last time it still took me a week to get them and this time it took a little over a week and a half.
If the cost of insurance and processing and shipping can be determined beforehand, regardless of the size of my order, OptiContacts should be upfront about these substantial costs at the start of the ordering process, instead of at the end.
Huge F******* scam... Absolutely DO NOT believe the RIGGED star rating. I can't believe they can get away with this stuff. If I could, I'd have any trace of my online footprint associated with this site deleted. I'm sorry that I can't add any extra info other than I had to call CS and ended up hanging up on the VERY sketchy rep before I placed the online order. Stay Away!
I should have read the other reviews before placing an order, but like others have experienced, order total looks good on the website but then they tack on undisclosed "handling fees" after clicking the button to place an order and charging your card. They claim the fees are disclosed in the fine print in some sort of purchasing terms agreement. No reputable company would operate this way. Luckily I was able to cancel the order. Makes you wonder what other poor business practices they employ. Certainly not going to be ordering medical devices (contacts) from them.
They advertised a good price on my Dailies Total 1 Multifocal contacts, but added a $102.43 Processing and Handling fee during checkout. Seriously, over a hundred dollars to process an order for 4 boxes of contacts? Needless to say I cancelled the order and will buy from another site.
They attracted me with their low prices, then tacked on $145.22 for "Insurance and processing". It's out of network, so there's absolutely no insurance involved from their side, so nothing to charge for there. The only explanation for "processing" then is that the prices were too low so they had to make up for it. This is really deceptive and in my opinion this practice should be illegal if it isn't already. Avoid supporting this company at all costs.
I was shopping for contact lens on google and found opticontacts.com. The prices were great so I placed an order. Upon checking out, I noticed there was an extra charge of $99.40 for handling!
I called customer service. They told me the fees that are tacked on when you use the google link to buy contacts at the special price.
I feel this is very dishonest and false advertising.
I payed for 2 days shipping and without surprise, a week later it is still not here, and instead of helping me customer service wanted to argue about how it is my fault. Which is absurd because i can't come to the warehouse and control it only they can. After literal days of going back and forth the only thing they offered me was to refund my 2 day shipping. This company is extremely unprofessional and does not care about their customers, especially first time buyers. I will never be going through this mess up of a company again
I ordered from them thinking I was getting a great deal. They were only charging $37.95 for a box of 90 contact lenses. Then they hit you with a handling fee of $234.14! That's almost the same cost as the 4 boxes of lenses I bought. The 4 boxes were $303.92. Also they didn't ask for any info about my eye doctor so they obviously don't verify your prescription. Hopefully after reading some of the reviews I will get my contacts in a timely manner. I will never order from them with the deceptive pricing.
I would not recommend purchasing contacts from this site because they use deceptive pricing. They advertised a great price per box, but when I went through the checkout process they added a huge, unexplained fee for "insurance and processing" (see screenshot). All potential savings were immediately erased, and I would not order from a site that tries to deceive its customers this way.
I used this website for years to buy discount contacts. Now they mark the lenses down an add an enormous "Insurance and processing fee."
I literally cancelled my contacts order through my insurance because I saw that OptiContacts marked them down. Now I have to re-enter my purchase. I will never be purchasing from them again even if they correct this. Probably one of the most misleading things I have ever dealt with on an online order.
Answer: They refuse to waive or refund. For me it was not disclosed until shipped.
