I have never dealt with such helpful individuals. I'm in customer service and the level of customer service the employees of Oriental Trading is AMAZING! I had two separate issues and they took care of me with easy, no hassle, understanding and with such speedy resolutions. I didn't have to over explain, talk to a line of people, wait a million hours to get an answer. I think both times I was on the phone with a rep it took less than 5 minutes from start to finish. I have been ordering from this company for years now (for work) and this just makes me want to do more business with them. Thank you for making my job that much easier Oriental Trading!
I ordered something from their website in Dec. 2023 and they have been charging me a monthly fee of $14.95 a month since then. Placing that order automatically signed me up for some kind of notification subscription fee which I was not aware of. I am furious and feel scammed. I notified my credit card company and they are blocking future charges. I tried to contact the company to tell them I want a refund but no luck yet. I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals office
I ordered some wedding supplies for my wedding back in august. I never recieved it, so then they were sending it to me again. I received alright but not before the wedding. I had to go purchase last minute stuff the day before the wedding. I mailed it back to get my money back, but they never did give me my money. I kept calling and they told me the same story everytime. It shows on our end that it has been processed. Give it a day or two and it should be in your account. It has been almost a year now and i have not seen a penny of that money. I would never go through them again.
My package arrived 10/26 and was stolen off my doorstep. Called Oriental Trading Company 10/29 and the replaced my order free of charge and sent it overnight just in time for Halloween! Thank You Oriental Trading Company!
I went online to OTC to buy an item that I had purchased the month before. It was now listed as 20% off. They had jacked up the Original Price so that the discounted price was the same as I had paid the month before.

I ordered a Kansas City necklace that was supposed to have two items a chain and a magnet I only got one item called the company and they said it was discontinued so they were going to just give me one item and not send me the rest of my purchase and rip me off I can't have my necklace now did me no good don't buy from these people

I have used them in the past and it was great. Recently I tried ordering for my wedding. My order was cancelled 3 times. I thought it was my card. I tried 3 others. Called costumer service, they said try a different card. Then they said it was my "verifying information" tried calling that line after being on hold in the normal line for 15 mins. Turns out, one of the things I was trying to order must have been discontinued, but it didn't say that on the website, no one told me when I called, and it kept letting me order it, but wouldnt show up in my "re-order" cart. Waste of time and money
DONT EVER BUY FROM HERE - I bought a small item worth $15. That purchase got me subscribed to some monthly membership that has been charging me $15 ever month! What fraud of a company! Don't risk buying no matter how attractive or cheap things look!
I have always turned to Oriental Trading Co. For great, inexpensive products that add a nice touch to school, scout, and church events. Almost always happy with the products I receive and that holds true today. HOWEVER...I had recently read other reviews about a "Fun Rewards +" Scam, where you are discretely signed up at check out and charged a monthly fee of $14.95. So, I was very careful through my check out process looking for this, and felt confident that I avoided the scam, or...that the reviewers experiences were just isolated. Today, I received a "Fun Rewards" check in the mail for $7 and thankfully, due to others reviews, knew exactly what it was. I called the company, and it turns out I have been charged monthly since March...8 months. I asked where the proof was that I signed up, and they said I checked off Free Shipping, and with that came a 30 day free trial of Fun Rewards that after 30 days, it turns into a charged membership. Company policy is that they can give me a 6 month refund. So I am still out two months. What kind of a rewards program charges you to get the reward? So Fraudulent and I am disgusted with a company I once trusted.
I was charged this morning $16.81. I've not used the website in MONTHS and unsubscribed from emails. I reached out to customer service who told me that I signed up for some sort of rewards program?!?!?! WHEN?!? Customer service told me I would have to email or call them because, no, they can't cancel it on the chat. This is *******% fraud; they charged my credit card without consent. I can't even find where they have my credit card on file in order to delete it! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!
I ordered some items through Oriental Trading, and as soon as I got the shipping notification I realized I accidentally had it shipped to my OLD address. I called and talked to Jag in Guest Relations and he got in touch with UPS but they weren't able to reroute it, so he reshipped the entire order to me free of charge! And it was my error! So generous. I didn't expect such great service from a company that sells such low-cost items. Thank you!

Yesterday I received my large order for the Halloween party I'm throwing next weekend; oh man, I am SO EXCITED to put everything out and set everything up. It didn't cost me a fortune and everything looks awesome. Shipping was quick and I even had a coupon code.
I ordered 720 personalized mini flting disk for a parade. They arrived 5 days before the parade. They sent packets of stickers with my shop name and town on it for me to attach myself. The space was limited so I had to abbreviate my town name. My town is 3 words long with the middle word 'du' They instead put the middle word 'de' (I checked to make sure I sent the correct spelling.) This is huge because the name is already abbreviated... which was barely passible as it was. Now it wasn't recongnizable. So I messaged them and ask that they send new stickers within the next 4 days so I would have the correct items and have something for the parade. They basically said no... but I can take time out of my crazy schedule and send the items back for a refund. This was completely their fault yet they didn't care one bit. Now I have to find a way to get some personalized items for a big marketing event in 4 days. SO done with Oriental Trade!

A month later 16 dollars came out of my account for a fun rewards program I never signed up for. Will not be using them again or recommending them to anyone.

Instead of using PayPal I disclosed my credit card info and just 2 days after my credit card was used on 3 different online sites with a total of $600. This is very suspicious because this was the only company that I gave my credit card info to including billing address and CSV/expiration date. When I referred to their website below is what I see and it clearly says that our information can only be read by their Customer Service Department. Right now I am dealing with credit card disputes... Is your Customer Service Department qualified enough to handle such a confidential information? Did they pass background checks to be able to handle confidential info?

And we were waiting all that time and when we called to ask where the order was. We simply got an answer with oh sorry for the inconvenient we cancelled your order! They simply cancelled it without our consent and without informing us making us wait all that time for nothing! There was nothing wrong with our payment and the order was confirmed. It was very disappointing
I know a lot of teachers that use this site and are very happy with it. It has toys, arts and crafts, party, and teacher supplies. You can get items for a whole classroom at a reasonable price.
Ordered 200 glow bracelets for event. Several of them broke, leaked filling or didn't bend. Have been satisfied with this prooduct in the past, but will not re-order for future events.
I ordered items for my daughter in laws baby shower. My first order came very quickly but the the second order was lagging. I called to ask when I could expect it and was told it could be shipped that day for an additional fee of $10.00. I couldn't get a satisfactory answer as to why it hadn't already been sent. I should have followed my first instict and canceled, but I agreed to the $10. They didn't charge me $10. They charged me the original fee plus $10. They double charged me! The first time I called to complain they said they voided the first charge and I should see it in my account in 24 hours. I complained everyday for five days before that charge fell off. It cost me $105 in overdraft charges. And the quality of the merchandise wasn't even that good. Never again!
Terrible customer service. My wife apparently ordered some birthday supplies from this company in April 2017. The following year in May 2018, my wife ordered some new birthday party supplies. Then two weeks later, May 17,2017, I receive an email from the company saying we owe $57 for a purchase in April 2017. I call the company to find out what is going on, because there is no way the company is just going to ship stuff out to us without first getting PAYMENT. I receive a message back from their accounting department stating that they placed a credit card authorization on my card back in April 2017 but apparently never actually charged my card. While in the process of trying to figure out if my card was even charged or not, they sent me multiple emails with an invoice seeking immediate payment and sent a letter to my house saying that they would seek legal action if the amount was not paid in full within 2 weeks. I mean, come on seriously? They screw up, don't charge my card, ship the products to me, then over a year later send threatening letters to my house. Ridiculous. I have no problem paying for something I ordered, but I want to at least first confirm what card they placed an authorization on just to make sure that there was no charge actually made on that card. We will not be shopping here again.
I gave this subscription a try and had accumulated $14 in cash back rebates but decided it wasn't worth $15/mo. So I wanted to cancel before my next billing cycle. The cancellation page specifically says that you'll still have access to use your account until the end of your billing cycle. But as soon as I clicked cancel it immediately kicked me out and when I tried to sign back in it said my account doesn't exist. I called customer service and they representative placed me on hold for 15 minutes at which point I was kicked back to the main menu so I emailed them at that point and the response was that they can't reinstate my account. I'd have to make another purchase at Oriental Trading to create a new account. No thank you! So now I won't receive the cash back that I had been accumulating because they only send you a check once a month while would have been 6 days after i cancelled. I used to be a regular customer of Oriental Trading but I won't be shopping there anymore. Their fun rewards plus program is a scam and they outright lie to you in plain English to trick you out of your money.

Bottom line, great site overall. However, when ordering from OT, ensure that you have ample time to wait for the items since the processing takes forever and you will not be able to accurately track the order status without calling them. IF you DO decide to order from OT and have time constraints, rush delivery is an absolute must!

I ordered my items on Monday and received them on Friday including personalized items. I ordered an hourglass and it was even prettier than the picture.
Initially would not correct issue because of poor ad. After disputing charge, oriental corrected, nut still cost me shipping charge. Will not order from orientsl again.
Have had to talk to customer service twice about being refunded the $16 the randomly charged me over 2 months after I had purchased one costume from them. They tried to say I signed up for a subscription but I know I didn't, and why the hell would I? I never planned on buying anything else from this site and I didn't get anything from them to warrant a subscription. Plus the charge came almost a full two months later, they didn't charge me for any "subscription" the previous month. I'd be very wary of this site. I got my costume but also paid a arm and a leg for shipping, $40. If you do purchase, I'd make sure any card you used was removed immediately after you purchase.
They also try to use "business days" as a way to act like 2-3 days is somehow longer than a normal day? They had told me 2-3 days for a refund, so when 3 days later (today) I still haven't received it, I called and was told now it's 3-5 business days. It hasn't been the weekend so I'm not sure why she even empathized business days twice. As of now I still haven't received a refund, so we'll see if that even happens.
Tip for consumers:
REMOVE YOUR CARD IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE or you’ll end up being charged for a “subscription” months later that you never signed up for and play hell getting a refund. They hadn’t even completely taken the money out of my account, it’s been processing, and it still is apparently going to take 5 days.

The costume was way to big. I got a medium, the only size they had, and my child is usually a medium. I’ll have to hunt down somewhere with a small. But regardless, he still liked it and will eventually grow into it if he wants.
BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH! I placed an order and Oriental trading company changed my total after the order was complete. They increased the total after i had checked out, days after it was placed. Terrible business practice!
