“I've had a fantastic experience with Oxford, very well...”

I've had a fantastic experience with Oxford, very well presented, excellent student support, fast replies to any questions. Well worth every penny, will definitely be enrolling again in the future. I am now wishing to continue with A-level English literature and language.

Course material and online resources are out of date and irrelevant to the course studied. The web site and student area is very basic, old fashioned and difficult to navigate. The 'tutor support' is laughable. I know this 'college' courses are cheaper than many others but honestly pay a little more, shop around and go with a proper organisation. I already have 3 recent ALevels at grade A, but wanted to add to my collection and didn't really mind what resources were offered being quite an independent learner, but what you pay is outrageous for what you receive here. You may as well by a 20 year old second hand text book from Amazon which would be more use than this 'course'.

I completed my year course last week and thankfully passed the exam with distinction!

I was really delighted with the outcome as I had put a lot of hard work into the course and did lots of extra research.

The course was really interesting and I cannot fault it. It certainly gives you a buzz to continue learning.

Thank you

I currently work within health and safety for a local authority. I thought by taking the infection control course it would expand my knowledge of health and safety in general and it was an add on course to add to my portfolio of qualifications.

I am excited to complete my diploma in Psychometrics. The quality of material is highly impressive. I had spent the last 20 years of my life in human resources consulting involving very detailed work using psychometric tests. I have read materials related to Jung typology and studied in detailed the work of David Kiersey and many other authors.

I had assumed the course will be a work over which I can complete in less than 2 months. To my surprise the quality and depth of the material was much more challenging than I had expected. I have learnt professional details that have significantly improved my competence and confidence in psychometric practice. I had set out to pass the exam with a Distinction, but I passed with Merit. Painful but interesting.

I will be to registering for the diploma in psychology from oxford college as soon as possible.

I cannot say in words how wonderful my course has been. I have started the first stages of setting up my own business, the cma organisation have also been really helpful in directing me.

I have been given so much support from the college, especially as is my first language is not english. Things have been explained in different ways to help me understand and focus on the points raised in the course literature.

The literature has given me the keys skills to promote my business, and offer my help to many people in my home country. I will mose certainly be applying for the degree level course now i have qualified

I felt I have gained a lot of knowledge about areas of human biology I didn't know and haven't previously covered. I have completed Level 3 Diploma in Biology and this is a progressing course to enhance my existing knowledge.

Having never done a course like this before I initially felt quite apprehensive but once I begun to focus on the subject and worked through the notes I felt more at ease. Completing the TMAs and receiving feedback certainly helped as I felt I was on the right track.

The course was thoroughly enjoyable and at the right level for what I require at this stage. Having completed the course it will certainly help me in my work, I will be looking at plants and the environment in a different way from now on. The course content covered a wide range of topics that encompass Botany and I have learnt a great deal from the subject as a whole and I hope to continue to learn more about some of the subjects covered.

I am now currently looking to either do another course with Oxford, or find another course and potentially expand my current knowledge to help me in my job to help me progress even further.

I took the canine studies level 3 course and I am in Lisbon. I work in a kennel and I wanted to add a qualification to the work i was already doing. The tutor support was excellent and helped me with parts of the course that i didnt understand too well and gave me lots of help and pointers.

I have never done a distance course before so this was a big step that i think has really helped me think i can achieve much more.

The materials are interesting and make you want to learn more. A big thank you for all the confidence i have.

Had a few students who were very hard workers who I enjoyed working with, then there was some who weren't that good. But as we had a good tutor, he was good at engaging them and they still passed the course. I passed without too much effort and can say the tutor we had was great. The course material was good and in my opinion the course in general was good value.

Despite my age, I decided to do some learning as no one is too old for that. I learned a lot about computers in the course I did and would say it was good value, thanks.

I enrolled on the equine science course in order to support my experience within the equine industry and to consolidate previous learning. I hoped that completing the diploma would make me more eligible for enrolment in a course for animal physiotherapy, since their pre-requisite of an A-level in science was not met by my B grade at GCSE! Happily I have already been accepted and have found this equine science diploma invaluable to my new studies. The course was straightforward and comprehensive, whilst always encouraging me to do more research into each topic. The tutors have always been quick to respond to my queries, marked each assessment shortly after submitting, and have been fair and made positive, constructive comments throughout, even when I struggled with some of the content! Student services are unfailingly cheerful - happy to help with even the most mundane and trivial questions. They have been truly supportive for the duration of the course. I would highly recommend the equine science diploma as good value for money and as an invaluable asset to anyone who wishes to further their career, or simply enhance their knowledge.

Overall I enjoyed the course and learnt a lot about the subject however I feel that the final multiple choice examination was not an accurate test of the course content. Had I not studied AS level biology last year I would have struggled to answer several of the questions. I found the SAP's very beneficial and I would suggest that in addition to these, perhaps a multiple choice examination (or other) at the end of each module would be a more accurate test of knowledge learnt throughout the course.

That being said, it was a fantastic course, useful support and always knew someone was available. To have passed, I have achieved an ambition I have held for many years. I look forward to branching out on my own, learned a huge amount and response to course work very prompt highly recommend to anyone that wants to also get into diet and nutrition.

Thanks for everything - I completed the course with an overall grade in Distinction

I will probably be back in the near future to either further my study or learn something related.

I decided to undertake a Dementia Care course as my Mother In Law has Dementia and I wanted to learn more about it and how I respond to her and help not only her but myself and other members of the family to understand Dementia - this course was brilliant; it answered all of my questions and more and I feel very pleased to have passed this exam and with distinction. The course covered everything and I especially liked the units of how to Understand Dementia and the Role of the care worker which is very important to me and my family so that I know the residential dementia home she has gone too are doing things right for all the dementia patients that are there.

Mathematics is my life and I send the majority of my life studying the subject. After completing my GCSE in Maths and scoring a grade B, I decided Mathematics is a subject that I really enjoy undertaking and at A Level, it has to be a subject that you have a real interested in and with this comes the motivation to undertake the coursework and assessments on your own initiative. I have nearly completed my AS Maths and will shortly moving onto my A2 in Maths. I am also going to be studying an A Level in Further Maths so that next year, I will returning to University to undertake a BSc Mathematics Degree course.

Distance learning suits me at present, as I can work and undertake all of the aspects of my course, on my own initiative. As I have a passion for Maths, it will be easier for me to undertake my A Level in Maths distance learning as, as well as being able to work alone, I also make use of all the tutorials available on websites, to enhance my knowledge of Mathematics.

If you have done very well at GCSE Maths and you have a passion for this subject and can work, or prefer to work on your own initiative and you are confident in your abilities in Maths; then distance learning will be a good option for you. There is support from the tutors if you really need it. The Fast Track A Level Maths distance learning course with Oxford College is an excellent course and it is well worth undertaking
