PCI says "Based on the photos you sent, the defects shown are a result of damage sustained in transit. Damage was not noted on the carrier's bill of lading which releases them and our production team of liability. Because of this, I [PCI] cannot provide free replacements or a refund." CAUTION #1 - If you buy their columns, DO NOT allow the freight carrier to depart until ALL cartons are opened and inspected. DO NOT allow them to leave without first documenting any damage on the Proof of Delivery (POD) and DO get the driver's signature on it and retain a copy. DO get photos BEFORE they come off the truck and photos of ANY damage to cartons and product. Our shipment weighed 560 pounds and the columns weigh in excess of 100 pounds each. Insist that the freight carrier assign two men to get the columns off the truck WITHOUT YOUR ASSISTANCE when they call to set a delivery appointment. The United States Supreme Court has squarely held that the duty to unload goods rests upon the consignee: The general rule is that it is the responsibility of the carrier... to `deliver' the goods by placing them in such a position as to make them accessible to the consignee. Normally unloading is not a part of the delivery and is performed by the consignee. PREPARATION FOR SHIPMENT - PCI may not have packaged correctly. In view of the apparent fragility of the columns, notwithstanding PCI Online claims to the contrary, the columns fractured. Regardless of how the damage was inflicted, and by whom, mere cardboard boxing of columns stacked upon one another and banded to a pallet less in length than the overhanging eight-foot columns does not afford adequate protection. Additionally, NO SPECIAL HANDLING REQUIREMENTS appear anywhere in any PCI website pages or available pdf literature. CONCLUSION: In view of the above, it is my VERY STRONG RECOMMENDATION that you DO NOT purchase products from PCI unless you can obtain a written and signed agreement from them that THEY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIBILITY FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGE TO THE SHIPMENT UNTIL IT IS DEPOSITED ON YOUR PROPERTY BY THEIR CARRIER and THEY obtain "CARGO GOODS IN TRANSIT INSURANCE" for the shipment AT THEIR EXPENSE.
Thought I was getting the base and cap in paintable Gray. I was told specifically that they don't do the all color Stone anymore. To my surprise it came in all color stone to match existing column!

My first order I put in wasn't the proper measurements and they quickly cancelled my order made the correction and my order was back on schedule... very pleased
The ovevrall experience was good. But one problem is that the capitol needs to be split in half in order to be fitted onto the column. Which is not in the directions/instructions.
Product & service were good, the freight charge is too high. Wish the product is available locally instead of air freight it at a cost 4X the product cost.
The price was good. We received it quickly. The only problem we had it was the wrong item.
We cotacted custom service and they are in the process of fixing it.
When I ordered the columns it was confirmed that I would have enough notice for delivery that I could take off of work to receive it along with my carpenter. Unfortunately, I was notified around noon that the delivery was coming the next morning between 8-9am.
I called back to explained that, that was not what was agreed upon during my order and that I could not request time off on such short notice (not even a 24 hr. Notice!) along with this my carpenter was on another job and could not get away on such short notice to help unload the columns. I told the that they needed to change delivery date, they said the order was already loaded in the van.
It wasn't until i suggested that I could only accept delivery if they delivered before I left for work AND that the driver would help me (a female) unload the van. They called back and agreed. Luckily I was able to grab my neighbor before he left for work to help unload the van.
This is not an acceptable way to schedule deliveries particularly when you are told you would have enough time to make arrangements to take off of work to be present for delivery.
The quoting and ordering process was very easy and the customer service rep. Was very helpful. The product was received in a timely manner and product came in undamged.
My order for Oxford Balusters was shipped quickly via FedEx no problems. Subsequent questions were answered without delay. I highly recommend PCI Enterprises
The quality wasn't what I thought it be. Directions weren't very clear and the price was high for the quality received. I expected a better quality than I would get at Lowes for way less money.
Hello I am from Australia...dealing with your company was 'stressful' to say the least...trying to get an answer to questions was near impossible...I sent numerous emails to Sales and Customer Service with no response yet I received at least a dozen computer generated emails from your company asking did I need help...well I did but just couldn't get any...I finally got an email from some one asking me to call so I made a time to call them - due to the time difference and sadly he was NOT helpful at all...
I spent a lot of time measuring and deciding on what Items I wanted and they were MANY (3 Large Ceiling Medallions plus 11 Smaller Medallions and much more - my order was $1000+) but when I finally placed the order... Your 'freight charges' were/are exorbitant...and then our dollar exchange which is totally sad at the moment made it really expensive...So I only bought the items I really needed to complete a project...
Which is such a shame as...Your 'products' are EXCELLENT... I loved what I bought...there were a few minor nicks in them but they were light weight and just what I needed to complete the project.
You really need to 'set your self up for freighting to Australia' as I know I would buy LOTS of things from you as we just don't have anything like this here...
You need to be more helpful for people trying to contact you from overseas as it really gets frustrating and I only perservered because you had what I wanted otherwise I would have gone elsewhere.
Please organize your 'freighting charges' as I would love to purchase more.

The shipping company that was used was not reliable. I wouldn't make another purchase Pacific Columns if the same shipping company was used. I was very happy with the product once we recieved it.
Elizabeth Hatch did a great job helping us get the correct product. Product shipped promptly and we received it ahead of schedule with no damage.
Delivery was a little difficult. Columns were brought out on an enclosed trailer and hard to access with equipment. Had to hand unload 34 cols.
The product came in a timely manner after being called and told as such without damage. I will say a Job well done! To this company

One column was broken at the top. Fortunately it was long enough to cut that part off. No problem. We are well satisfied.
What we received will require more assembly than I thought. Having trouble getting info as to the proper assembly sequences and fastening materials
Product was delivered LATE! And delivered DAMAGED!...We refused the order and was rerouted back to the warehouse. We'll see how long it takes to get my refund.
