I was so excited that I forgot to record my boyfriend, but the moment he saw the painting he started crying, both tears of joy and sadness, but most of joy. He loves the painting, and I am very grateful for the company and the artist for making this special gift possible and unremarkable.

I downloaded the picture I wanted to have painted, asked for the background to be blurred, this modification was done quickly and sent back. When I received the proof of the painting and asked for a slight modification this also was done quickly and sent back. The finished painting was shipped (I was a little surprised it was sent from China) and the finished product is beautiful.

Very good painting done by Doris based on a picture with a lot of background "noise" (people in a restaurant). She managed to create a faux background and highlighted the colors of the shirt, and the face of the subject brilliantly. Well done.

I was apprehensive at first. It was somewhat of an expensive gamble but, when I received my daughters portrait it was fantastic! I couldn't be more pleased. The artist did an incredible job, the details are great! I'll be considering what pictures I'll be sending for my next painting soon.

We got this as a gift for my step mother. Her mom passed away unexpectedly earlier this year and never got to our daughter, so there was never a picture of her and our 2 children. Anyone that knew her though, knew she loved her great grandbabies. This gift is absolutely priceless and my step mom cried so many years of joy b

My experience was good however when I received the painting I noticed my husband's glasses was crooked and the 5yr Olds hair looked almost gray like an old man even after modifications was done to the painting. I also, had to reach out for tracking information because you never sent it to me after the website gave me 3 or 4 different eta's. Other than that its a beautiful picture! Also to receive credits when posting on Facebook and Instagram, you want us to make our profiles "not private". Ppl have their profiles private for a reason and I provided screen shots of what I posted as requested to show the tags as "word of mouth" besides posting the video of my husband opening his late father's day gift/ memorial of his dad who passed April 2021. So, its a bit disheartening when your providing the proof but have to unprivate your social media accts from stalkers to look into your personal life! Otherwise, your company would of received 5 stars if it wasn't for what I listed above!

My mother-in-law lost her son before I met her other son. Then my sister-in-law just had a child last year and I couldn't help but think how they never got to meet each other. I couldn't think of anything else than a picture of the both them.

You'll receive constant updates on the progress of your painting and a sneak preview of how it looks! Then wait for the finished article to be emailed, where you then get a chance to change parts if the painting if you're not satisfied! Once finalised and paid for, the delivery is normally 7-10 days! I have contacted this company several times after placing my order on July 22,2021. My approval an modification was done within a week tops. My artwork was approved the following week. So I have been contacting them for two and a half weeks for my artwork and all I get is it is sorting or it is waiting to be shipped. My artwork suppose to shipped by the 16th of August so I can have it by my on birthday with us the 26th. Well guess what it's the 23rd and it still hasn't shipped. Every time I call I hear some different excuse. I am so peed of, I spent over $400 dollars for nothing literally. Don't buy here because you will not get your product. You just get a bunch of lies for your money. I do not recommend, period.

The painting couldn't have been more perfect. It was a gift for my husband and it moved him to tears of joy (which doesn't happen often) I'm very impressed with the quality of the painting and the skill behind the brush.

The painting I received was more than perfect, and was a great meaningful gift and I am very happy with how it turned out and my boyfriend and his whole family loved it and want one also! I couldn't be happier with my experience.

If I could give 0 I would. After paying almost $500 for a painting of an elderly cat, they "lost" it after 6 weeks, and 2 weeks after the cat had died. Then the only message is we can resend it at no cost. 1) what do you mean resend if I never received anything? 2) no cost? I didn't do anything. 3) really no refund offer or anything at all? If anyone needs screenshots let me know but DO NOT ORDER THROUGH PAINT YOUR LIFE. Just absolutely awful.

It's been 10 years since we had a charismas with my grandma and having this portrait done was my way of bringing us together again. My mum absolutely loved it!

My order was placed on Sep. 13th and I received my completed portrait on Oct. 4th. The painting was carefully wrapped and sealed in a carton appropriate for it's size. Was really impressed how quickly the portrait was completed!

Perfect gift for fathers day. I had never met my mother in law. The blending of the pictures were perfect. Paintmylife was very patient with edits, etc as i did not have good quality of pictures of my mother in law/

I was able to get a portrait made for my sister-in-law.
In the picture I made sure to incorporate my sister-in-law with her cap and gown graduating with her master's degree and a picture of her mother next to her by her side.
Her mother passed away back in January and my sister-in-law graduated in May. Her mom wasn't able to see her graduate with her master's degree so I wanted to get something made special for her to let her know that her mother is there with her every step of the way and looking down on her smiling
