My furry companion of 13 years, passed away on July 21,2024. I wanted a portrait of him in my home, as a constant reminder, he is always present, beside his urn. I could not have asked for more, the portrait is absolutely stunning.
Paint your Life did a great job and I was concerned initially that the artist would not be able to replicate features of the subject. I was pleased that they did a great job and the art will make a great anniversary gift
Needed a unique gift

I watch your ads, the thought of having a painting that physically includes a lost family member was breath- taking and emotional as I pondered in dreams of the opportunity. We have taken family pictures with someone always holding the portrait of our missing loved one, my grandson.who was adopted. One day we hope to be reunited but this opportunity will be a blessing.
After 6 weeks of articulating my requests in writing. I rejected 10 attempts. The artist doesn't pay attention to what you write. They promise a realistic painting.
No communication efforts were made to me, I have limited access to pictures of him. I was not told to change pictures. The stress and frustration was simply unreal. You talk with the agents who are polite but very scripted in what they say.
I finally has to cancel the whole experience.

Very pleased with the finished project! It was a job well done that anyone would love to see. I've used them for multiple work and family pieces and they always make sure it's right! Highly recommended!
It was very moving to see how much my mother in law loved her painting. She cried with bittersweet feelings. The most memorable thing she said was "this image represents all the hugs he wasn't able to give me". Absolutely beautiful!
So I ordered and paid electing express service to get my painting by Christmas, that was the advertisement. They billed the full total immediately, not the 10% as advertised and i let that go. Then they didn't listen to how I wanted the people arranged in my painting first off, telling me it may not arrive in time if i make them amend it. I decide to let that go. After the artist had supposedly painted my picture, I needed to approve it before shipping, come to find out my express service did not include shipping which is not disclosed on the website. They also wanted to charge another 175$ to ship! I did not approve the painting and canceled because they made my wife look old and my daughter had a huge nose, both were way lighter skin tone too. They took my money and offered no solution but to cancel and wait for my money back.
You guys ruined my Christmas!

The shipping didn't take long at all. Although the pricing was a little weird to me i still paid because i knew it would be amazing. It looks exactly like the reference photo that i sent in. I can't wait to show my mom because i'm for sure it's going to make her cry
From the first point of contact to delivery, this was a wonderful experience! I loved how quickly my artist responded and delivered this amazing portrait! Now my daughter who's never met her grampy can have a photo with him!
I ordered my painting a month and half early so my wife could get it by Mother's Day they sent an email Saturday saying sorry but your portrait will not be arriving by Sunday! The only thing they offered was refund my shipping cost and 20% off my next purchase! No thanks I'll go somewhere else! It was a major mess up by my he company and for the 700+ dollars I spent on this portrait I'm highly disappointed
I actually inform the truth regarding my experiences from businesses. I submitted an order 2/7 on a Wednesday. I included a memo about the photos of the individuals submitted were deceased and it was all I had. If they can't do it I would understand. Brenda contacted me requesting better pictures on Friday. I responded back immediately the same day. I explained the SAME THING as I stated earlier when I submitted my order. "Those are the only pictures! If they can't do it, I understand." I heard nothing for two days. I sent another email 2/12 being the date of this review. I'm requested a refund because no work was done. No response was given from Friday from Brenda. Customer service is very poor/slow. Just by this incident, I was wrong for giving these people another opportunity. I can't stand poor customer service. I'm still waiting for a response from Friday. It's three days and no response! Thank Jesus I didn't pay for the entire project! If they act like this over $49, imagine how they'll act with $500! You've been warned!

*See how unprofessional they conduct business? I emailed them three times and never got a response. Now this robo responder who replies to unsatisfactory responses is advising me to contact them. They left no direct contact information. I'm supposed to attempt the same unsuccessful method by email! They haven't responded to the last three emails. I'm in the process of reporting this business for scamming and bad business practices. I'm so grateful I didn't pay the entire amount. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! Please remember not to only look at the positive ratings. Research the negative reviews. Most consumers are saying the same things about this business! *They IGNORE emails! I have the emails to prove it! I actually responded about two hours later to the robo responder through Trust Pilot and STILL haven't received anything! They posted a response advising me to contact them. Nothing happened— at least in my experience! I'm giving you relevant, trustworthy, information about this business! Remember, this is only over a deposit of $49!

Gifted a portrait to my mom for her birthday and she absolutely loved it! The portrait featured her two grandchildren and she said it was one of the best gifts ever. The portrait was really well done with excellent attention to detail. The process of choosing art styles, frames and everything was so easy. These are on the pricey side, however it is a wonderful gift that will be cherished!

This was a precious very special gift for my mom. The artist did a phenomenal job in capturing the details I wanted to make this as memorable as it could be. This is my third purchase and certainly won't be the last.
I wish I could give this company zero stars. After waiting a month to finally receive a painting I paid $400 for, the frame is falling apart and scratched on all 4 sides. You can't even reach anyone at the company, the only person you can talk to is in a call center overseas. The customer service is horrible! Find a local artist, do not waste your time with this scam artist company!

Our son lost his dog and we decided to paint his portrait with his dog in his firefighter uniform because they don't have a picture of them together. It came out wonderfully. Can't wait for him to open it up at Christmas.
So somehow I ended up creating 2 carts of my order instead of just the one. The team guided me through the steps and was extremely helpful. The price- in my opinion- is well worth it and I haven't even received my product yet. Just proofs. I know my family member will cry… as in all the videos I've watched. This company is running a tight ship and it's excellent!

Painting not acceptable
I approved the edited photo but the finished painting was no where near up to standard and the workmanship bore no comparison with the sample portraits on their website. After several attempts to put it right the quality did not improve despite the fact that twice I was emailed by them to tell me they had flagged it for quality issues. In the end I cancelled and got my deposit refunded.

Artist was very thorough. My mom loved it. She cried like a baby. The only downfall that I didn't pay attention to was the shirt on my dad was changed and my mom said he never wore button down shirts. So it was something I didn't notice.

The reason for 4 stars is the spam amounts of emails I receive from the company as well as how confusing it is to get to my dashboard. You cannot access it from the main site. I have to sift through my emails to find my dashboard. I've also been sent duplicate emails and left multiple reviews and it's STILL asking me to leave a review through a different portal.
In short: GREAT product, marketing needs some tweaks
