Paltalk doesn't have this client-oriented approach anymore. Every update decreases its quality. They became quite corrupt: when they ban your profile they take your money and that's non-negotiable. It's impossible to get it back and they don't even provide a reason.
Isn't it a daylight robbery? Nothing worth paying for.

Their rooms are better than zoom because there is no time limit. Easy to use and does not appear to be any charge unless I do the upgrades

Seriously, did all the pedophiles, rapists, gang members, murderers, drug deals, and other low lives and degenerates get together all at once and decided that they need a place that they can call home and that was Paltalk.com? I guess if society doesn't want anything to do with these degenerates they have to have someplace where they can all meet with their own kind. I gave it a 1 star because apparently, that's as low as one can vote.If you want your children to grow up as haters, perhaps gang members, and maybe introduce themselves to a life of crime then Paltalk is the place for them.

Yeah, this platform is just a money pit for pal. They rob people with all their nicks, gifts, sticker packs and other tacky rubbish. Most of the chat rooms consist of the lowest trolls in society. So if you want to get insulted and ridiculed join pal talk.

0/5 Paltalk fails members because it does not care about cyberbullying or cyberstalking on it's platform. There are current chatters who think this program is excellent merely because they lack education and enjoy watching other chatters who are mentally ill or high on some substance abuse each other on a constant basis. Paltalk has a really bad history if you do an online search - There's been 2 suicides, 1 murder suicide, 4 murders and more - all related to the chat program - Please do yourself a favor and do your own research before joining Paltalk. If there are suicides livestream on this program or people getting murdered, This program can not rate as excellent in fake marketing reviews yet there are people that will turn a blind eye to the hideous things that happen on Paltalk and rate this program a 5/5. Sorry this program is a failure because there has been deaths related to Paltalk. Beware of toxic people on this program ready to attack your person in any way they are able to for their entertainment. Get informed and keep away.

I was a regular member of Paltalk for 6 years. I still have 3 colored nicks which are active. I left Paltalk as a paying member as it wasn't worth constant emotional drain to put up with gangs of non paying toxic chatters who have been in Paltalk for 20 years in several sections who target me for speaking my mind about their toxic online activities which included extreme trolling, flaming, cyberbullying, abuse, harassment, scamming, breaking TOS and stalking on a constant basis. In 6 years some excellent chatters have left in disgust moved to other chat clients because they are targeted by drunks, scammers and extreme gang of trolls. This program is below average there's been chatters who have committed suicide because people have egged them on livestream. There are chatters in their 60s who DO NOT pay for Paltalk they have been on Paltalk for 10-20 years using free black nicknames constantly complaining about the new Paltalk. Classic Paltalk should be not operational because it's a program the toxic clique troublemakers use and it's not getting updated. The best thing about the new program is that you can put admins who are incompetent on ignore. There's a problem with toxic chatters allowed to admin because they abuse their power by unfairly dotting, bouncing and banning chatters and treating chatters as chew toys. I wrote to Paltalk ages ago about serious issues with several sections of Paltalk which have NEVER been addressed appropriately however some rooms and chatters get continually banned and then allowed to return and operate again- There's chatters who have been friends for over 20 years and have moved to Paltalk chat from Yahoo chat and some of these chatters have bad intentions from activities that seem illegal to mentally abusing others continually for their entertainment. When the help rooms were operational they were a joke and recently the help rooms were rarely staffed. The help rooms were often staffed by volunteers who didn't know what they are doing. The only thing Paltalk has done recently is surveys instead of logging in and witnessing issues at hand. At times Paltalk Terms Of Service rules are continually broken without any severe consequences. This is not a place for the weak minded or vulnerable as Paltalk isn't held responsible for another chatter's behavior towards you even if it's constant harassment, cyberbullying or abuse. As a chatter you waive your rights by signing the agreement not to sue Paltalk. However Paltalk should be responsible to provide a reasonable environment which isn't promoting a constant stream of cyberbullying and harassment that associates the program with a poor image. Chatters giving death threats should be permanently banned. In the religious section each room has a number of fake clone followers listed - however there's only about 30 people in each room and a low activity of chatter interacting in most rooms. Nicknames are cloned to make room numbers appear larger. There are NOT 5000 followers for each room in the religious section -that number is fraudulent. It seems there's a criminal element operating in Paltalk, these toxic chatters would think this is an excellent program because it's a lifestyle for them to hang out. There are certain sections of Paltalk where chronic potheads reside to sell drugs, take drugs on cam, and to be abusive and toxic to others. In some sections there's mentally ill chatters who have serious issues and take it out on other chatters by constant harassment. There are several alcoholics that take the mic in rooms and are very abusive, very combative, kill room numbers, rant and scream on mic. There's claims by Paltalk chatters who have had their computer hacked, their photos and information stolen. Toxic chat gangs have doxed new chatters and chatters they do not like and their personal information posted on Paltalk. Also claims that chatter's webcam are hacked. Microphone conversations are recorded and posted to YouTube and replayed on Paltalk without permission. Warning to newbies this program should never be used as a dating site or to meet anyone in real, there's too many unstable toxic chatters who don't have the right intentions and are predatory no one is screened on this program there's ex felons. The quality chatrooms are on a severe decline, chatters are leaving in vast numbers. A Paltalk subscription isn't expensive for chatters that use it extensively, what is expensive is wasting precious time with drunks, drug addicts, predators, scammers, severely mentally ill who's lifestyle is being on Paltalk 24/7 who use it as an outlet for abuse. So many changes needed for Paltalk to be safe, fun and for users to pay for subscriptions. Private rooms aren't a solution, the solution would be to weed out the bad apples

This program is not even deserving of one star. This is where the scum of the scum hang out. You have more hate rooms than regular chat rooms and 2/3 of the regular chat rooms are full of mental defectives. 3 people broadcasted their suicide while in a Paltalk insult room (Hate Room) and Paltalk did absolutely nothing about this and they continue to allow these Insult rooms like "Verbal Abuse Insults" and many others to exist. Corrupt Paltalk admins like Paltalk Admin A (Anne), Medianoche and a few other Administrators have been known to Ban it's users at the request of many of these Insulters who have had a deep long relationship with Paltalk Admin A (Anne) Paltalk has allowed members from these Insult rooms to call peoples family members and their workplaces in an attempt to ruin their lives and getting them fired from their jobs. I have seen objectional webcams from Adult rooms where naked children were seen running around and the parents completely naked while sitting in front of their cameras. There were some users who had actually met in person to fight it out between themselves while broadcasting their fight in their chat room. This program is full of mental defectives and degenerates, and it's definitely not a place for children. The Insult rooms that Paltalk allows to remain active are right full of Predators and degenerates on the lowest scale of degenerates. This program is absolutely evil and full of criminal behavior and will change, dictate and ruin people's lives forever and I encourage anyone who is currently using this program or decides to download this program to stay away from this terrible, trashy program.

If you can find some friends and a half-way decent room, then you could be content for a while. Those places, however, are few-and-far-between.

Paltalk loves to advertise that they have over 100,000 people online at any given time, but you will only ever see a small fraction in your own language. Even then, the rooms are plagued with people coming online just to masturbate on cam, play pornographic videos, or harass foreigners. I supposed they can't be blamed for other people's actions but considering how trivially easy it is to sign up for an account, it makes me wonder if they allow this behavior just to keep their numbers up. Read the other reviews of people's experience and you'll begin to see a trend.

Be very careful if you plan on spending any money with Paltalk as you will find them to be very money hungry and quite nefarious in their methods for getting it from you. Once you spend your money, you might as well consider it gone and try to get as much use out of it as you can because they love to tout "all sales are final" when you realize you've been duped. Also, Paltalk is headquartered in Istanbul so your options are very limited if you want to try and recover your hard-earned cash.

Virtual gifts and virtual credits are temporary and they don't tell you that until AFTER you've bought them! So, if you spend $150 to buy 5,000 credits, you only have 30 days to use them before they take them from you. Even if you do use them, say on virtual gifts to give people, those gifts are also temporary and will expire leaving you with absolutely nothing for your investment. Also, when you're purchasing your credits, you have to manually OPT-OUT from them automatically renewing your purchase after you've used them up or they've expired.

Their credits are massively inflated. 5,000 credits at $150 means you spent around $0.33 per credit. Now, to gift someone an Extreme subscription' for ONE MONTH, you would have to use 3,042 credits (roughly $92) whereas buying (in cash) someone the same subscription for an ENTIRE YEAR, would only cost you $59.95. You would have spent 53% more for a drastically shorter subscription than you would have just by paying with cash.

One more note on purchasing, if you buy anything (credits, colored nicks, rooms, etc), and then the next day they decide to run a sale, you're locked into your original purchase with the familiar "all sales are final" response. They will not refund you the difference, and they will not add your purchase to the sale. You are stuck with what you got.

Be careful with the rooms you're visiting. There are a small handful of fairly decent rooms, but this place is ripe with people who are only online just to insult you. Given that, and the fact that the majority of the rooms are nothing but music rooms, it can take you quite a long time to find somewhere worth your while.

If you do decide to try out Paltalk, I wish you the best of luck and hope you find somewhere good to settle into. However, be careful with what you talk about as the veterans may warn that Paltalk is rumored to ban people (with no refund) for talking about other chat platforms.

I will say like everything else, is how you handle your self. Great groups from all over the world, was able to meet a lot of people. The sound and video are unbeatable, best in the market. No place that you can open a group and gather 500 and up friends to chat, video and talk voice. I am not sure why all these negative reviews, when you can open your own group and handle it teh best way, and not join other groups, if you got issues with other users, this doesn't mean you can assume that everyone in there are bad. There will be always fake people, isn't everywhere? But at least on Paltalk you can view their cam and speak to them. I will give the thumbs up to all the people that working to make such an app.

I cant talk but only for the country music section. Alot of the ladys are sweet bunch of the dudes get jealous you cant give true feedback or chat because you might hurt someones feelings people get on their to not have a good time and sing have fun but to talk behind ones back and steal your music and how you play because they cant come up with their own things... however their are some good people and some people have great talent i enjoy listening and talking with folks but alot of the younger dudes get so jealous... like dude just practice you can do it to instead of griping like a child... alot of store bought country folks on their... for the rest of the site idk might be great but im a country music singer and thats were i did go im looking for a better site tho given this one up... thanks for reading GODBLESS

If you are new, don't even bother using the mic, especially if you are a female because as soon as you start getting along with some of the male chatters, some old hillbilly woman will shout you down. I went to the Trump and it's dominated by a hillbilly woman. No one in there is even talking about politics. So I went to Lord Voo's room where it's both conservative and liberal, and Lord Voo just takes up the mic half the time and bashes white people. And again, if you're new, don't even use the mic. These grown adults act like high schoolers and bully anyone who is new. They never leave the rooms either except for when they sleep. Oh, and any of the European rooms hardly have any real Europeans in them.
