I love this place so much, especially the iced coffee, me and my baseball "teammates" aka lovers come here often and get the rice bowls
Food did not match the menu pictures or the TV ad. Very deceptive advertising. Chicken sandwich was a tiny piece of burnt chicken, 1 small piece of wilted lettuce, no flavor good or bad. Too expensive. So disappointed, will never eat there again. If you have never been there, good luck finding your way around. No staff member offered any assistance. The pink lemonade tasted like a powdered mix and burned my throat.
I spent 10.00 on a nappa chicken salad sandwich. With no chicken on it. Nothing but bulky bread lettuce and a tomato. The quality has changed and not for the better. Very disappointing
We got a togo order from Baytown store & chicken salad sandwich was maybe a table spoon look like dry chicken and dry bread & 5 lbd lettuce. None bread was grilled. Never go there again.
DO not get their subscription. They did refund my card after I canceled for four months. They are awful with accepting their error. I Will NEVER go to any store of Panera Bread. NEVER!

The baguette is so m7xh better than the roll you now serve. A little disappointed that portions get smaller, prices have been raised, and now the baguette? Bummer!
We were at the Topsham location on Sunday, November 13 and were disappointed with our meals. I had a sausage and pepperoni flatbread pizza which was served only slightly warm, generally did not taste very good and had very poorly distributed ingredients; a couple slices didn't have any pepperoni at all, and in some places there were very large chunks of sausage (almost golf ball sized) while other places had no sausage at all. There were 5 pizza options, none of which had the option to add vegetables (well grape tomatoes could be added to a couple of the pizzas, but not to the one I ordered). My wife had the Baja Bowl. The promo photos show a large, full bowl; her's probably had no more than 1.5 cups of food, not very much for $11, and the traste was "meh" in her words. My daughter liked her very small bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, but the bread was so tough that she could not actually tear a piece off to dip in the soup; she had to stick the end of the bread in the soup for a few moments to soften it up even to take a bite. My father-in-laws sandwich (not sure which one) was (shrug) "fine, I guess".
Overall, very disappointing.
Always out of food at dinnertime in Wethersfield CT. Absolutely horrible now. There should be no excuse for running out of food at a mealtime. Done with Panera.
I go here all the time disappointed now I bought a pecan braid. It was a walnut braid not happy. Any way to save money.
Went to this establishment thinking I could have dinner with me and my two other companions we ordered food which came to the total of all rounded off $34 soup half soup and half sandwich with means you get like a couple spoonful of soup which was cold the cheese was horrible on the onion soup and my cheese sandwiches was about the size of the palm of my hand the smaller sandwiches I've ever seen it was just a half of it the Cheese look like they have been over cooking it it's just outright horrible service for your money stay home learn how to cook go somewhere else but never go there because you will never get your money's worth I don't care their food is not worth the money and I cook food my family owns restaurants there just horrible good luck but if you're smart you wouldn't spend any money here and waste your time. PS forgot to mention one of my son got home he threw up horribly wasn't sure what he ate but that's another clue not to go there bad service bad food not very clean as we would think as well
Panera service is getting worse and its always dirty. We were in the week before Christmas and the food was not as it normally is. Soup was watered down and luke warm and the new Chicken sandwich was cold. Normally we have no complaints on the food only the service and bad conditions of the floors tables and chairs. At our last visit there weren't many employees but normally there are several just standing around instead of cleaning tables, etc. I have never seen anyone cleaning a table and have never been there where I could find a clean table. I bring Clorox wipes knowing I'll have a dirty table to clean. You charge enough for your menu items for customers to expect a clean environment to eat at.
You have some really good food options, but I no longer enjoy eating there due the lack of cleaning. We choose not to purchase gift cards this year for those reasons. You would think COVID would have taught businesses something.
The cleanliness issue you is not only at this location. It seems to be the same at all the others we been at.
I order a Chipotle chicken flatbread pizza. No Chipotle sauce, light tomato, extra chicken, extra cilantro, light garlic sauce, no bacon, light cheese. They give me the order wrong twice.
The food is ok but the prices have gotten crazy high! A drink $3.49! Sorry Panera I won't be back, ever
Panera Bread has an *amazing* sourdough bread, when it's made right, and WHEN you can get someone at a store to sell it to you.
I stopped into the Rosenberg, Texas Panera Bread yesterday afternoon to try and buy my very own Superior Sourdough loaf.
I could see my prize sitting there on the bread shelf when I walked in.
I walked (as if in a dream) by the only service attendant in the place busy talking to someone at a table.
I walked to the counter.
Ummmm...
This is where everything came *crashing* down.
So. I stood there. Then I stood there a little longer. Then I looked over at the service attendant busily gabbing with the person at the table, COMPLETELY ignoring a customer trying to place an order at their restaurant.
No response there.
Then I left. For good.
I've been to the Rosenberg, Texas Panera Bread once or twice before. Yep. The last two times I went the service has been awful to nonexistent, like it was yesterday.
So I left and went over to Kroger to buy my second favorite bread, a *delicious* Rosemary Olive Oil bread that only Kroger makes.
I'll never be back to that Panera Bread, and I hope lots of other good folks avoid the place too.
I just don't understand how they can completely *ignore* MONEY walking in the door and stay in business too long. Panera just doesn't deserve to be in business at that location imho.
My guess?
I give them six months. Hopefully they won't be there sooner than that.
The girl at the window was very rude no hello, thank you, nothing. I had to ask twice for my receipt.
I've said before that I would not go back into a panera. But I get dragged back in. This time I ordered a cup of turkey chili $7.59 for a cup of chili and a cup of hot tea. The chili was barely lukewarm and tasted like it's been scraped off the bottom of a pan that been cooking all day and the tea was not the least bit warm. I took the cup of tea back and asked the girl to get me some hot water from behind the counter she did but even that wasn't hot. Then when I tried my chili it was not hot at all. I took it back and asked them to heat it up they told me to heat it up in the microwave under the coffee counter. So apparently, when you're at Panera you have to wait on yourself clean up after yourself and cook it yourself but yet they still think that they should get a tip. And no one apologizes no one really cares. They're all standing around behind the counter with nothing to do when they could be cleaning the slop off the walls to make an attempt to clean the floor or wipe the the tables. I just kept telling myself to shoot, I could have gone to Chick-fil-A had a hot sandwich and if there was something wrong with it they would have apologized and made it right. That never happens at panera. Order number 488-061 at the 3895 Medina road, Akron Ohio store
I ordered a large salad for a big party and paid in full not only for the salad but also for delivery. We tipped 20%. The time for the delivery came and went, so we tried calling the restaurant repeatedly. They never picked up and actually hung up on us after about 20 rings each time. Eventually, we received an email saying, "Bummer. We received your cancellation…". We DID NOT CANCEL. Since we could not get the local store to answer the phone, we called corporate. A representative named Trent answered and in the most smiley voice ever informed me they cancelled because of insufficient staff. I understand staffing problems but why not let me know in enough time to make other plans? Why not send an email claiming responsibility instead of blaming me? Why not TEXT? My suggestions were met with a smiley voiced "Great IDEA! I'll pass that on to management." No apology, no attempt to make things right. Next time, I'll pass on ordering from Panera. I ran to the local grocery store and bought salad makings for half the price. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO GENUINE CONCERN FOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. No concern for terrible restaurant performance.
Tip for consumers:
Have alternate plans when ordering from Panera.
Expensive, presentation zero, salty and using plastic plates. Not forgetting the quantity is too small for the price charged.
A customer had a seizure in your establishment, and your employees did nothing but assault him!
Bad service and very expensive relative to portion size. They charged some 13$ for like a small bowl
There was no meat in the sandwich it was all bread I ordered a sausage and pepperoni flatbread as well no cheese barely any meat it was the worst ever
WE ORDERED FOOD FOR 6 PEOPLE IN OUR OFFICE. FIRST OFF LETS JUST START OFF BY SAYING THERE WAS NO LABELING ON FOOD( HAD TO GO THROUGH AND FIND). THE SALAD(NO WONTON STRIPS) AND SANDWHICH( HORSERADISH ON THE SIDE) I ORDERED WAS DONE ALL WRONG... YOU COULD TELL THAT THEY WARMED THE SANDWHICH UP IN THE WHATEVER WARMING DEVICE BECAUSE THE CHESSE I PEELED OFF THE SIDE AND TOP OF BREAD. THEY GIVE YOU A SQUIRT OF DRESSING FOR YOUR SALAD. THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE!
The Tomato Soup at Panera was one of my favorites haven't had it in a long time had it the other night it was horrible so sad I miss the yummy creamy tomato soup they used to have
Second time waiting over 30 mins for one single item. Had to get a refund and took my entire lunch break so i havent eaten for the entire day.
I do not frequent panera but did not know you could not get a simple ham and cheese on rye?
That makes no sense.
Kids meal Mac n cheese my 4 year old was still hungry. Order steak an white cheddar got a grill cheese. The food is way over priced.
Don't get much for the money but the food is good. Half sandwich had no cheese and was quite small for $10. Might try again. Like my free pastry.
