Carburetor bowl gasket $18. Tiny plastic connector for throttle sensor $18. Shipping $10. Both parts could have been shipped in an envelope for a first class stamp $0.60. Guess I'm just too old for these prices.
I bought a thermostat and the website said it fit my model 07 yamaha R6 and they sent a total different thermostat that didn't even fit
I had some questions on the part to fit my exact machine and called the company the lady I talked to was very friendly and helped me with my purchase. The parts showed up fairly quickly and it was an exact fit and simple to install. Highly recommend this company.
This will be a "principle" issue. I received the wrong product due to part numbers not matching correctly on the schematic sheet vs the ordering section. I called into customer service to resolve this. The resolve was doing an RMA for the incorrect product shipped to us, us ordering replacement product, and us paying to return the product back to the warehouse. Time is of more value than the actual dollar amount of the products, so I simply ordered the correct product, and will keep parts in which I will most likely never need or use or sell.
It is one thing if the error was on our end, it is another when it is on the suppliers end, and I believe that this should have been handled far better than it was. As we are also suppliers with an online business selling to folks across the globe. If the error is on our end we take care of it swiftly no matter the price of the product or size of the order.

The moral to story is all's well the ends well. As a first time customer I was confused about the shipping avenue. At order time, the webpage said UPS which I thought meant United Parcel Service. Once I tried to track the order I noticed it use the term Mail Innovations that I think means the package was turned over to the Post Office. Nothing against the Post Office but because of this I was unable to track the package so I was not able to schedule my maintenance time accordingly. My recommendation is you simply state the order is going though the Post Office and cannot be tracked.
I had an excellent experience with Partzilla! I needed a carburetor and gaskets for my Yamaha inverter generator, and wasn't entirely sure which ones to get. A representative there was incredibly helpful and patient, working with me to find the exact parts I needed. The parts arrived quickly and were packaged very securely. Overall, it was a great experience - I highly recommend Partzilla!

I always pay for expedited shipping on all of my orders and, for the past 9 years, they have always been shipped via UPS 2nd day air. My last couple of orders have been shipped via USPS and they take twice as long to get here! The above mentioned order was shipped via UPS 2nd day air, as usual. My most recently shipped orders, such as order 11-*******, was shipped via USPS. Many items on that order were promised to the customer today, Thursday June 6th, which is when the order would have been here if shipped UPS 2nd day air, as usual. Now, the parts aren't going to be here until Saturday the 8th. This is too late for the customer. He has races that day that he needs these parts for. Now, I get to make the dreaded call to tell him the bad news and apologize. This really sucks...

Polaris dealers have had the injectors that I needed on back-order for months, no ETA when they would have them in stock. Partzilla had them and delivered to my doorstep in three days.

I ordered a carburetor float and paid extra for a faster shipping speed. The part was damaged in shipping the first time. I called and reordered the part. The second part came in and was just in a flimsy bow inside a plastic packing envelope. The box was destroyed but the part seems to be ok. Why wouldn't you package such a delicate part correctly.
