I was pleasantly surprised in how wonderful everyone was at this location! Seriously, wonderful people and made the entire process easy and stress free! I had an appt at 8am. I was OUT by 8:50am. Every person smiled and genuinely, had pleasant all over them! Go HERE! Thanks Hudson st for making my experience a great one. I appreciate good service.
Nothing on this website is clear. It is as if, once they take your money, you're on your own. I paid for the family plan, allowing 4 users, but only saw one (me). After some thought, I filled out two applications but had apparently opened more than 4 in my struggling to understand the website. This maxed out my account, making it so I could print NONE of them. Not even the first four. They then wanted me to pay another $30 to "upgrade" my account to family to create 4 more "accounts". Stay far away.

Hi June,
Thank you for a prompt reply.
To address your "Our website clearly states that we are not affiliated with the US Department of State or any Government Agencies, and that the fees do not include the actual processing fee."
After reading your reply, I decided to go back to your website. I now found out that statement is speciously made less noticeable by being posted at the very top of the home page in small-size letters, and also buried in the fine lines at the bottom. As the adage has correctly said, "The devil is lurking in the fine lines." Had you clearly stated the above statement in bold/red or as large as and right underneath the headings on your home page, instead of fine lines at the top and bottom, you consequently would never have been able to rip me and the others off.
Or, should your business be scrupulous, before clicking "Submit," a payment, you would have added a "Review order" page with a reminder either in red, or bold that said, "The $38 fee is for the utilization of our system to accomplish your DS- form online" and that, "the fees do not include the actual processing fee" as the other legit businesses would have warned. But perhaps, the sole reason that you still keep your home page the way it has been because you already foresee there will still be some people who are unwittingly fall for your deceptive business tactic like the past customers.
Out of 21 reviews, 20 gave your business a one-star for service and value. That means, 95% of those who did business with you were dissatisfied. Amazingly! What is your business philosophy? Does it exist to solely serve your bottom line? You don't understand money is only a means to an end, not an end in itself, do you?
It's not a matter of $38 that you unjustifyingly charged me, but rather a matter of principle that I raise the issue with you and alert the others to not fall into your trap. Therefore, I will post this reply online.
Last but not least, I will file complaints with the FTC and BBB, concerning your deceptive business tactic.
This is a total scam. When you go to the post office you have to pay this fee again. The postmaster told me we were scammed by passportUsa
I fell for this scam. Be carful!
As soon as I gave all my info
I got all kind of phone calls. IRS falls claims etc
Horrible scam. Should be arrested and put in jail. I don't know why this site exists. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY.
YOU MAY NOT HAVE TO ANSWER TO ME IN THIS LIFETIME. BUT YOU WILL DEFINITELY HAVE TO ANSWER TO GOD ON YOUR JUDGEMENT DAY ON HOW YOU PREYED ON OTHER PEOPLE. GOODLUCK WITH THAT YA $#*!!
TOTAL SCAM, they charge you $38 for information you can get for free from https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/passports/forms-fees/ds82.pdf
Never been scammed before online, but this one got me! Now my info is out there in the hands of unscrupulous people.
I was one of those, like others, who "thought" I was on the official government site. After completing the passport information fillable form I was asked to submit $49 which I did (thinking this was the fee for passport renewal). It was not until I was preparing to sign and mail the completed passport renewal form that I realized I owed the renewal fee and deduced that the $49 fee I paid was a service fee for providing the passport forms which I could have gotten for free elsewhere. Of course I panicked thinking I was scammed and now "someone" had personal info and my credit card number.
I called the number listed on the email that was sent, verifying the charge, and spoke with customer service who I found to be very helpful. It was explained that the disclaimer was on their site (which I see now in a ribbon at the top of the home page but didn't notice then). I was also told that the only information they have is the name, email and last 4 digits of credit card and that the passport info is encrypted so they have no access to it. I pray this is true. My issue was how easy it became, especially for an older person, to utilize a service thinking it was the government site. That was on me for not being more careful. I asked for 2 things from customer service: 1) to refund me, and 2) to enhance the disclaimer on the website so it is quite clear to others that the site is not the official government site and the fee is a service fee only. While there may be some folks who need this type of service, I did not.
I will say that the gentleman who took care of my concerns was very kind and helpful and was able to refund my money and pass on the recommendation about making the website more clear. It may have helped that I did not attack him when I reached him but rather expressed my disappointment and concern. I was very satisfied with the customer service I received
Misleading - NOT USA. Spanish company offering pricey service that should be free. Use the USA direct free site
As others here have stated, this is a total scam. A complete and total SCAM.
DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY your information. They will take your information and $99 and that is the last you will hear from them... until your credit card is fraudulently used and your identity is STOLEN!
If you do a Google search on how to renew or get a passport--this website is the FIRST to show up and it looks legitimate. Shame on Google and other search engines for allowing that. There should be a 'trigger' of some sort that Google and other search engines activate to prevent scam sites from popping up first. Smart people get scammed all the time simply because they trust what they find on searches and don't stop to think about it before they forge ahead and give away all of their information.
There is only one thing you need to do to get a passport: Go onto the US State Department website (eforms.state.gov) and download the form. It is a very simple process and you don't need anyone else to help you through it. The legitimate US Government website is easy to navigate. If you need the passport quickly, they offer expedited services for an additional fee.
I write this on behalf of my husband who caught on to the scam after he had given his credit card information but BEFORE he entered his social security number. That request tipped him off. He then IMMEDIATELY called his credit card company and they canceled his credit card, filed a 'dispute' of the charge (they will reverse it, guaranteed!) and he is filing a fraud report with the bank as well. So no harm no foul for him because he caught it before he gave information that would cause identity theft.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE IS A FRAUD! This site wants a fee for no reason it does not go toward your passport it goes in their pockets!
They are not the government. Don't trust Google site. Go to the post office and save time and pain.
DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! They will take your money and not contact you back for a refund, and they do not have a phone number
. org? Ha! It is simply a limited service that poses as an official organization of the government.
