I really wanted to write a positive review, but I never received the wig I ordered, so I will just review Paula Young's poor customer service. They charged my card and the wig never arrived. What gives? Hope they make it right.
Returned a wig, wrong color, called rep and she proceeded to go on and on about promotions. Her english was terrible and worst conversation ever. Will never buy a wig again from them. Never did get the right wig.
Write off this company- used their label (cost $10.95) to exchange a wig - 4 weeks later disappeared because their label is not accepted - I even called first to Paula Young wigs and was told to use their label to return at a cost of $10.95. I'll never get the exchange because their return label is not valid. These ppl are crooks
This site has a great selection of wigs. They are very nice quality products. I only wish they had a larger selection of human hair wigs. I already got a synthetic wig. It was great, but real hair is easier to maintain, and you can do more with it. I just wish they had a greater selection.
Ordered a wig. They sent confirmation # with a delivery date of two weeks, and they would send tracking info; neither showed up. After three weeks, I called and their story (after talking to four different people, some with a serious lack of the language, and getting either disconnected or hung up on) was that they could not ship it due to an address issue. Confirmed it is MY address; no issue on this end. NO ONE ever notified me there was a problem; just ignored it. The last person I spoke with, who hung up when she did not want to hear any more, said it would be shipped this coming Monday; the 20th, with a tracking #. Needless to say I do not believe her nor will I ever do business any more, which is too bad as I have done business with them for years with good results. And please, let's not blame Covid!
I order a wig the mailman waited for me to open box and fill out return slip close box and hand it right backed to him. Then when I call the company after 2 week and not getting a return. Ask for supervisor and she told me it would be another week before they issue my credit and then expect another 7 days for bank to credit the amount back to my card. Glad I didn't need my money for something else.
Ladies beware... I ordered a Carson wig thinking I was getting a "New Wig" well I was sent a used wig. I had already removed the tag or I would have returned it. (my bad) so it's ready for the trash. So unhappy with this company... have been a customer for many years. So just beware & don't make the mistake I did. I would give a zero rating if I could.
Any company can be a superstar when there's no issues. You find out what a company really is about when you have a problem. If they listen to you, if they take any interest at all and your problem, and try to resolve it. That doesn't mean that you bend over backwards and do whatever the customer says. But you honor your brand and what you stand for. And you stand by your word. You protect your customers and you keep them forever. Very unhappy with my experience with their customer service team really disinterested and unwilling to help. And the customer service rep that I spoke to when I called was downright rude. Knowone needs to pay someone to give you a hassle. If you want to be treated like a valued customer, you need to go somewhere that values their customers. With all that being said I really enjoyed Paula Young's wigs. They were affordable and there were a couple of styles that I really liked, but I will find other styles I really like somewhere else.
This is the second time I have been upset with Paula Young Customer Service. I returned a wig and wanted to exchange it for a different color. After a month and a half of hearing NOTHING from the company, I called them. Turns out the wig I ordered was not available in that color - even though the catalog indicated it was. No email, no phone call, no snail mail. I would have chosen a different color had I known. I have purchased about 20 wig's from PY. I will not purchase another.
I received the wig & it was the wrong color (my mistake). I asked to have it replaced with the right color. They decided to call it only a return so they could charge me a $20. Restocking fee. What a scam.
Answer: Cannot answer as I have not as yet received anything. Their products and service were good years ago, but it appears that is now a thing of the past.
