I ordered a pet seatbelt. They've changed the estimated shipping time at least twice. Now, 14 weeks later, still no package. They even told me once that it was stuck in customs. Now they are not returning my calls or emails and I'm wondering if it was a write-off. Never ordering from them again.

Firstly, I think it's important to know that despite Pawprime listing their address as being in Corona, California, your item is actually shipped from China which is the reason it takes so long for it to be received.
I think they could save themselves a lot of grief by sending an email confirmation rather than posting the detail on their website.
I strongly disapprove of the lack of transparency around this. In fact everything went downhill when I decided to check on the status of my order.
I ordered a dog bed and with the exception of my receipt from paypal never received a order confirmation. When I called to check on the status, the automated system always left me with voicemail. I left several messages, emails and finally requested that my order be cancelled. I never got a response, and it wasn't until i filed a complaint via Paypal that they emailed and told me to select the 'Track Order' link. 1.) I asked them to cancel my order and they responded with a track order response - ugh. 2.) when i selected the link it took me to a newsletter sign up page. I again emailed them and told them i requested that my order be cancelled. So they replied with a tracking number. When i clicked the tracking number i found that my order hadn't even been shipped yet. I asked them to cancel it and yet they still decided to ship it. I only discovered that it was coming from China because of the tracking details.
Let me just say I had ordered the dog bed in mid November and it finally arrived in January. The bed is horribly flimsy, i threw it away. The whole experience just put such a bad taste in my mouth.
This is one of those rare moments that I haven't done my research before purchasing an item.
As a company they could do well if they focus on communication and transparency. These are very key elements of being an online retailer. I have never been this upset with a retailer before. The lack of attention is inexcusable. I would call the site very manipulative as it clearly targets our passion for our pets but has no regard for us as consumers.
Unless you have all the time in the world and are not one to check on order statuses I highly discourage shopping at Pawprime.
