Great glasses, great fit. I have bought multiple pairs and appreciate that you don't get rid of frames as often as others. That way, if I find one I like, I can reorder when my child steps on them, or they fall into the river. 😞
The glasses I ordered have nose pads made for those glasses. One fell off after several weeks and I was not able to find it. My call to Paynes to ask for a replacement for this simple pad - the absence of which makes my new glasses useless - I was told Paynes does not do that and I'd have to find it at Walmart or someplace. So far none of the three "someplaces" I've been to have ever seen such a nose pad. I have been a loyal customer for many years, but no more. I'm done. Over a nose pad!
I had a problem with they initial order and they made it right. It took a lot of communication though and more time than I preferred to do it though.Their products are quality!
Lots of back and forth emails with week long pauses in between with a person who seemed to not understand me when I clear enough from the beginning. A bit like pulling teeth. Not a pleasant experience.
Good prices and quality, need more selection and to keep "regular frames" in stock constantly! More than 1/2 of frames are out of stock when I look for frames, which is frustrating!

I love payne! The glasses are good quality and cheap prices. I have ordered several pair and will definitely continue. My only complaint is The offered free glasses of the day... I can't take advantage of the this because my prescription does not qualify for the lenses at 1.56 I think you should provide at least a discount once a year on the that. Otherwise I am completely satisfied with all of my purchases.

I have ordered from Payne Glasses many times for around 6 years now. Every order has been perfect, and I have never had to return a pair for any reason. I have ordered for my whole family and everyone has loved their glasses. We have ordered regular glasses, sun glasses, and sports glasses, and all have exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend them for their great value and great products. It's wonderful to be able to order a few pairs to change out when you like for way less than the big brand eye glasses shops. You won't go wrong with Payne Glasses!

This has been resolved. It doesn't change my opinion.
I received my glasses and I was not able to see clearly. I contacted the company and per their instructions, returned them for a remake. I followed all the requests including taking pictures and sending a second copy of my prescription. Unfortunately the problem has not been resolved. In reality the distance vision is actually worse. I understand that I opted for the 100% exchange and that I did not purchase the warranty. However, I was very surprised by the lack of concern or follow up to the remake or my satisfaction.
I took my original glasses to an independent doctor's office along with the glasses I received from Payne. After full examination of both they were able to easily determine that the line of bifocal was extremely high on the lens and that I was actually looking through the intermediate portion of the lens. This prevented me from seeing clearly with either line of vision. This was the same problem with the first pair I received.
Unfortunately, I will just have to live with a $107+ mistake. The other office will remake my lens correctly at twice the cost. In this case, they will ensure the lenses are correct WITHOUT having to purchase a warranty or be subject to a one time exchange. I am very disappointed in the quality and service Payne Glasses has provided.
