I'm amazed at how poorly run a long established business is. After several attempts at fixing the same problem, we are waiting once again for the "parts" and appointment. Problem is no one knows what's going on. Babies in the background when you call service. Tell me my dishwasher and stove is on the ticket yet my refrigerator is the problem! Parts are in yet there not in! Bottom line, no one knows and no one cares.
I have an extended warranty on my LG refrigerator. I have been without an operating refrigerator/freezer for over 6 weeks. Three attempts to repair the unit have all failed. They have no idea what is wrong and when I call customer service they could care less. I wonder how long would any executive at PC Richards do without a refrigerator? I am disappointed and disgusted with the service I have received to date.
The store is great and i am comfortable with everything that they offer.
But do not buy the maytag mvw6500mw0.
Very noisy and you will get headaches from it.
Control panel not good, have to press many times to establish your buttons ti start your wash.
I received my "new" Yeti cooler via UPS and was astounded to see that it wasn't even sent in a box. They stuck the mailing ID information right on top. As you would expect, it is covered in scratches and already looks a couple years old. I will never order from this company again and would advise you not to as well. Buyer beware!

The extra warranty you buy fromm PC richards is not useable. I spent $200 on a five year warranty for a refrigerator. When it died on 8/21 they informed me I could not get service until 9/1/21 with a hurricane expected and my freezer full. Donn't waste your money!
I have had a PC card for awhile now. The payments were never late, and payments paid off mostly immediately. Zero Balance due on card. Went to make a purchase and got declined. Call in to customer service and they tell me account was closed. Why I ask I was never notified. Told me my credit rating changed. OK #1 never received notice, #2 As stated my record with the card was impeccable, and 3 most embarrassing. They should have better customer service and notify people they are or will close an account. This is just Wrong. Never again PC R.
Absolutely horrible service. Hung on me more than 3 times when I called and waited for over 1 hour and I waited 6 weeks to fix my electric stove. I bought insurance years ago, and I explained in full detail about the issue. It seems like they still did not notice that I need 2 parts not just 1 part of the stove.
Do not buy from here!
I'm on my third LG fridge from PC Richards in 6 years... this 3rd is still under the warranty and the compressor on this one has now broken just like the first two.
They will not allow an exchange for a different brand — even though there is a recent LG class action settlement re: cooling defect and "non cooling events" that includes the model is have (and had). Even if they did allow an exchange, they won't allow for replacement of what the current model is, only what was paid...
Not only will they not stand by their customers, they won't even call me to discuss and keep having the associate play a game of telephone relay. Some "family" business...
I have had issues with multiple appliances and PC Richards customer service has been very unhelpful, disrespectful and rude even when issues have arrived due to their lack of communication. This past Saturday a fridge was supposed to be delivered and the delivery man never showed up. Customer service blamed me for not being home (when I was) and did not offer any solution to rectify the situation. I don't recommend.

"I had very bad experience with this seller. I placed an order on line for a Canon camera. The next day they sent an mail stating "We have been unable to process your order due to verification issues." When I called them to verify, the salesman gave me a final price for my camera that was about $50 more than the final price showed me on their website. When asked why, I was told that this was a "delivery insurance" charge! I said your website did not mentioned this charge at all, but the salesman said "this needs to be added, or I can cancel my order". Of cause I cancelled my order just because of their cheating practice. "
I purchased a stove for my parents in January 2022 as a gift. The stove has never worked properly. Over a year later we have had several rude service men (one in which tried teaching my Italian mother how to cook properly) in our home to fix it and nothing. I was told they have to order parts again. Why would a brand new stove need new parts?! At this point, we just want it replaced and it's been a nightmare. I will never shop at PC Richards again. Best Buy will forever get my business and I will make it a point to deter anyone I know from shopping at PC Richards.
I spent over $3000. On a fridge lost everything in it twice, let's say another 1000 lost. 2 days off work. Had to buy a fridge and return it so I could have milk in hse. They don't have a care in the world once they have your money... go to home depot or lowes cause Richard's is not reliable!
My overall rating is zero stars. I am totally disgusted with PC Richard & Son and their customer service representatives. I ordered a Hotpoint mini refrigerator and I opened the box and noticed that the refrigerator door had a huge dent in it. I contacted the company and was told that being that it has been over 30 days there wasn't anything that could be done to assist me. I didn't know that I had to rush to open my merchandise. It is suppose to be brand new. So now I am stuck with a refrigerator that was probably refurbished anyway. Never again will I ever spend money with this company. I would have never had this issue if I would have ordered from Amazon, Walmart, Target, or Best Buy.
Their install department is horrible. Had to take 3 days off because they were not prepared. Each install team demanded an extra $100 before they would install ( this is after I paid for install)
Called customer service and they didn't care.
Shop elsewhere or get someone else to install. PC is unethical and uncaring

Purchased microwave plus installation- microwave didn't fit- installers ruined tile around range- when I wouldn't sign for delivery they signed it themselves. Customer service says "not their problem" call installer. Installer won't address the issue at all. So I'm stuck with damages and no microwave.
Bought an extended warranty which they will abide by but WHEN is the problem. I'm currently without a dishwasher that we called about 4 months ago and are awaiting thier 3rd try at repairing. I personally won't ever shop there again. This isn't an isolated case either every appliance repair we had done under warranty has taken months.
While making an exchange for a recently purchased item, I had one of the best experiences with a customer service rep that I have had in a very long time. I had the good fortune of having Stephen, attend to my call. He made me feel like I was truly a valued customer and that my concerns were valid and important. His knowledge and friendly disposition made my day, and I just want to say thank you Stephen.
I had went over to the store in Chelsea on May 31,2021. I was looking to purchase a Refrigerator and Stove. The salesperson that helped me with my purchases was Lucy Marina. She was so knowledgable in all areas regarding the size make etc. of both the refrigerator and range. I could not have did it without her. She was a pleasure to deal with. Such a nice courteous woman who knows her job well. She is an asset to P. C. Richards.
So if you are thinking about purchasing a huge appliance head on over there. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Make sure as soon as you enter you ask for Lucy. She is the Best!
We started having issues with our refrigerator since July 22 2022… the technician came and said we needed a new part… well either he didn't know what he was doing or they just simply don't care but it's Aug 12 and the technician has to return again because now he needs a different part… meanwhile we have been without a refrigerator since and having to spend money to have all our meals outside. It's getting ridiculously expensive, not to mention inconvenient as we need to arrange with other people to come over in case. We have asked since we're under warranty to then give us a new refrigerator and they're refusing to honor the warranty. The bad service is from management and all the way down. My fiancé was a long customer of them and now they lost both of us as I will not go back to them for anything anymore.
When into the store and met Bob the salesperson to order my new stove. Could not have been more happier, it was a pleasure doing business there. Super salesperson and PC Richard's is outstanding!

My wife and I have been going to PC Richards for many years. We have always received great service, help and cooperation with our needs. We always look for our sales person Harris Brown. Harris does a great job and always works diligently to help us walk out as satisfied customers. He answers our questions and even gives us advice on how to use certain items. He always works to give us the best price. When it comes to delivering an appliance that we have brought he always gives us excellent and full instructions so we know what to expect. If things don't go just as planned he will call us in advance and let us know of the adjustments. We are grateful to PC Richards and Harris Brown for servicing us and meeting our needs for many years.
I had the great pleasure of speaking to Jerry Mazzei. I had been on hold waiting for a manager for 8 minutes, so I called back and just asked for service. Jerry went beyond expectations. Confirmed my refrigerator was coming the next day. Also advised the scheduled installation day (which we didn't know) and told me to call him with any questions. I have had only good experiences with PC and have bought all appliances from them.
Not worth buying warranty from PC Richards. During my warranty period their service man came multiple times for same problem. It worked for 6 months and same issue of water leak came back. Now that warranty is over, I am paying to get same problem resolved. There is no fix! Not sure why do I have to pay for the ongoing problem that they don't have solution for. Rude service department people. I just paid another $300 for 1 yr warranty that will make my problem go away for 6 months! If I don't my kitchen floor and basement will get damaged. Purchased a dryer from PC Richards on Flatbush ave 3 weeks ago, it stopped working called the store on three separate occasions, no follow up. They informed me that they would schedule a tech to come and check it out. They never scheduled a service call. Spoke to the manager on Sunday, he told me he would call me back on Monday with information. He never did, called again I was informed he was busy and would call me back, he never did. Worst customer service experience ever. Time to stop payment.
I purchased all new appliances a little over a year ago. The ice maker for my LG refrigerator has been replaced twice. Currently there is a an error code that means the fan for the ice maker needs to be replaced. I bought the extended warranty. It has been 6 weeks since I called them, the tech came to diagnose the problem and finally replace it today. Tech arrived and the box was mislabeled so he left. I was on the phone with customer service and got a lot of words but they never called me back. Buyer beware.

I have now purchased two items online from PC Richards. Both arrived faster than promised. The printer was highly recommended by top online reviewers. But I couldn't find any that were priced under $200, most didn't even have any in stock. PC Richards had it in stock and sold it to me for $137 and with free shipping. Very happy with our online purchases.
