I'm amazed at how poorly run a long established business is. After several attempts at fixing the same problem, we are waiting once again for the "parts" and appointment. Problem is no one knows what's going on. Babies in the background when you call service. Tell me my dishwasher and stove is on the ticket yet my refrigerator is the problem! Parts are in yet there not in! Bottom line, no one knows and no one cares.
I have an extended warranty on my LG refrigerator. I have been without an operating refrigerator/freezer for over 6 weeks. Three attempts to repair the unit have all failed. They have no idea what is wrong and when I call customer service they could care less. I wonder how long would any executive at PC Richards do without a refrigerator? I am disappointed and disgusted with the service I have received to date.
We were waited on by Dawn at the Wayne Store. She was extremely knowledge able and helpful. We felt confidant in our selections because Dawn knew the merchandise and directed us to what suited our needs.
Our experience with Dawn was extremely positive and you should consider her a valued employee.

Never buy anything from this company! I purchased a fridge 9/2020 and here it is 1/2222 and its blown a compressor. The only resolution offered was for me to purchase another fridge and return it.
So not only did I lose the food in the fridge from spoilage... I purchased a mini fridge to temporarily hold me over because I have a family of 4 and now they want me to spend more money and purchase another larger fridge to hold me over... why not just offer something. Very poor customer service... I will never ever purchase another appliance or anything from them again...
I got sent to PcR&S from Best Buy when I couldn't find a product there. I did not find the product there either, however, Saed (I hope I spell that correctly) was hugely helpful in helping me find a work around and with items that were on sale. I went to Best Buy expecting spend over $100, and managed to get away with spending around $60 here instead with almost exactly what I wanted. I recommend everyone go here, and talk to Saed in particular. As a technician, I have had little to no help, and often times, been hindered by salesmen trying to tell me an item is what I'm looking for. Most won't take "Leave me the hell alone" as an answer. Saed knew his product, and had multiple different ideas and was generally very helpful and genuinely very pleasant. I will be back for my technical needs.

I walked In and went right over to Eddie who had previously helped me with appliances in the past. He remembered me with his big smile and while helping another customer he also came to my aid. I had 20 minutes to get a stove, get to my appointment and he was able to juggle us both and get me out of there with a good deal. He also knew I wanted a matching appliance and made sure I got it later without having to go to the store. He saved me time, money and stress. See Eddie at PC Richards if you don't want to deal with the sales pitch and hassle. Actually don't see Eddie because I want him to be free of other customers when I go back for my next project!

So we bought a brand new washer dryer set from PC Richards ( Samsung deluxe models). The Dryer craps out after 5 months ( used 4 times). I get it things break, the service department schedules service for September 17th Friday. I get a voicemail day before that they don't go to Shelter Island on Friday after I took day off from work to meet repair tech. They had this appointment on their books for about 3 weeks, it took them that long to realize that they don't go out East on Fridays. Really you can't make this up!
Purchased a washer/ dryer two weeks ago, the installation is still pending. After making multiple phone calls to the store at Yonkers, NewYork to speak with the manger, have not been able to get through to them or for them to make a call back after being told they will call back. Only expect some clarity on the situation. A nightmare and the worst experience after staying on hold for hours and still not been able to get any answers.

I ordered an item. 30 days after I paid, no response. I used the chat to contact customer service. I was informed that the item was out of stock. I asked to cancel the order. They said that they could not cancel it online and I had to call. It is not possible to cancel online, so I have to wait on hold for an hour to cancel. All they did was take my money and I got nothing. This place is a scam. Terrible service. Never Again:-(

Shop on another site. You cannot return items for a refund (even when PC Richard never shipped and fulfilled the order) without hours on the phone. There is no online form. The online chat people will not do it. This place is a scam.

It has now taken P. C to come and install a compressor in my refrigerator going on 3 weeks now. They lie about coming on the first schedule date and cancel the 2and schedule date today. No one should ever patronize this business.
They call to set up a day for delivery and send a confirmation text for delivery and don't show up. They don't even have the decency to call and say that the appliance never made it to the warehouse. PC Richard's was a no show, no call. Will never go back to them.

I purchased a dryer from PC Richard about 1.5 yrs ago because they boost about their ability to repair any appliance they sell. The dryer book down I call the service dept 11/3/2020 and a week later they came to my apt to evaluate the dryer. They said it needed a new motoring ordered a part that did not come in for about a mo. Unfortunately they ordered the wrong part. I have been without a dryer from about 2.5 months and I have called and left messages for the manger of service to call me back but they refuse to call me. I have several messages of a one week period. If you purchase something from Richards just hope you dont have a problem with it because they are not very helpful and leave you stranded

PC Richards delivered a dehumidifier to my home a few months ago ( February 2023) in the process the delivery truck took down the power line running from my home to my workshop. I contacted the company they told me to send a quote and pictures of the damage and they would take care of it. I did as was asked all they did was give me the runaround for $2500 worth of damage and refused to cover the damage that their delivery truck caused. Repeated e-mails and phone calls resulted in no action and steadily denying the claim stating that it was not covered as their responsibility. They still have not taken any action as of May 2023.

The sales people are good. It's the delivery and installation people that need improvement. The last team to deliver my refrigerator was terrible. Not only did they show up late but upon delivery in my house, one of the guys slammed my refrigerator onto the kitchen floor by letting go of his handtruck too quickly. Neither the kitchen floor nor I were amused. They only did the bare minimum in setting it up. Not only did they not take all the plastic coverings (which I had to do) but two days later, the water line which dispenses drinking water started leaking all over my kitchen floor. Apparently they did not install it properly by doing a rush job. I have purchased practically all my kitchen appliances and TVs through PC Richard but now I am having second thoughts.

P.C. Richard &Son customer service is horrible.
I called for service on a expensive dryer. They sent a technician that turned on the dryer and felt the vent and put his hand in the dryer after 2 minutes max and said it's getting hot. Wow! What a way to diagnose that the dryer is not dryer as it used to. I will never use the company for anything again in my lifetime!
I have been shopping with PC Richard for about 20 years. First of all manufacturers don't make appliances like they use to. So you can't blame PC for that. So next step is to purchase a warranty to cover the investment that you make. I promise you you'll be happy cause PC works with you every step of the way believe that. Deborah

I bought a dishwasher from PC Richard that experience was alright but after 5-8 months the machine stopped working. I called the store to make a service appointment to see if the machine was faulty or if it was user error, I don't really mind I just wanted to be able to use the product I paid for. The tech took 4-6 weeks to come. When the tech finally did come he looked at the machine and told me that it would not turn on... which I why the appointment was scheduled and I told him that when he walked in. I flipped all the breakers and he told me "Yea, it's broken. I don't know I'll come back." I have reached out to the store and the tech to get my machine fixed and I have not gotten a response or any sort of update. I don't really care if I have to pay for them to fix it but the machine is still covered and it has additional protection. I would rather have just bought a dishwasher though a bigger store or even amazon and avoided this hassle.
I bought a microwave on may 26, paid $35 for same day delivery, next day I had an email explaining What I ordered did not apply for delivery on the same day. I called and someone told me delivery will take 4 or 5 days, I accepted, today, a week later I have to call again and the order for a simple microwave could be done until next Tuesday, 2 weeks for a microwave, and over all. The customer service person tells me with an attitude that He does not care that I cancel my order, without explanation or anything, he offers me the return email and goodbye, First and last purchase at pc richards

Purchased a Bosch dishwasher without problem! Installer came and told me he had to replace all the valves that to which the dishwasher was connected. Since we have a new kitchen, I questioned it and he said I would have to sign a waiver saying any water damage that occurred would not be his responsibility if I did not allow him to change all the valves. I know a little about plumbing but am not an expert. I suspected something fishy and said no. I asked my usual plumber to come over--which he did approx 15m after the installer (NOT a licensed plumber) left. There was NOTHING wrong with the valves!

I purchase a Washing Machine from PC Richard on Flatbush Avenue. Upon delivery the washer was broken. I called the store right away and spoke to a manager who's been working at the store for a very long time and who is very rude (I was told that is how he is with every one. Customers have complained about his rude behavior) I even have a video showing the Washing Mashing broken. I ended up buying a new one and was still charged a stocking fee.
Bought a refrigerator that I did not know was discontinued. After using 1 month needed service, PC Richard referred me to GE. GE doesn't have the parts in stock. Waited 3 months finially received. Now 6 months later the mother board is gone. And so far I waited 3 months. I complained to PC Richards but they say it's GEs problem for the 1st year.
I asked for a replacement under them lemon law and no response. Going to take this to small claims court.
