Oh, Paperfry! The e-commerce site that thinks your home is their personal storage unit. They have a user base, but they have no clue what their delivery or service teams are up to. Delivery within 48 hours? More like 48 days, if you're lucky! Need home decor? Save yourself the headache and buy from anywhere else, even if it costs a bit more. At least your purchase won't become a permanent fixture in your living room. Paperfry's motto: "Why unpack when our carpenter is out having a blast?" It's like they believe your home is a waiting room for their lazy workforce!
Defective product and refusal to support the customer. When complaint was raised the product was in warranty. But pepperfry sells substandard products.
Purchased 4 door wardrobe in july 23. The item is worse than cardboard box by quality. Within a month its drawers are broken. Public pl beware while dealing with this cheaters.

I bought a "Okinawa 4 Door Wardrobe in Coffee Finish by Mintwud" for rupees *******/- but when it reached me i felt cheated.
Product was not at all same as described on website. Weight was less than half of what was on website. Material and clamps are clumsy. Backside of the wardrobe is like thick paper which a 5 year boy can break with bare hands. Drawers fittings are clumsy too. P
The "Okinawa 4 Door Wardrobe in Coffee Finish by Mintwud"wardrobe was not as prescribed on website. The plywood weight was mention around 92 kg, which would have made a sturdy wardrobe. So I ordered. Whereas what I received, the weight was hardly 30 kg combined which makes it clumsy

I selected a product on their website. It was out of stock, But it was available on the manufacturer's website, and so I purchased it there. Had I not seen it on the Pepperfry website, I would not have known about it. So I have Pepperfry to thank for this. However, after purchasing it from the other website, I received no reply either via whatsapp or email as confirmation. And I have not received the product as well. The cell number on their website is invalid and spam. I chose to request Pepperfry to supply me with a Telephone number that they surely must have on their records, so that I could connect with the manufacturer directly. I was surprised to be told, Pepperfry had nothing to do with it and had no number to part with. Essentially it was my issue and I had to find my own way. So much for the reputation that Pepperfry has built over these years. I categorically mentioned that I was not asking them for a refund ONLY the number of the vendor that they were promoting on their website.
So be careful with online purchasing with Pepperfry, for products that they sell, but don't back. Now you may wonder, which products would those be? Your guess is as good as mine.
I would assume it's better to be circumspect about any product you want to buy here. There's no question of quality. It's a question of whether the products are 100% backed by Pepperfry. And, I was told that this brand was being discontinued. So, then one wonders what was it doing on that page on that website of Pepperfry.

I bought a chair rs. 8011 in 23rd of may 2021 and it got damage in December2021. I have filed a complain and company sent a boy to visit and he told me that the party of the chair needs to be replaced. But manager sitting in Mumbai just denied to replace the part of chair by saying that this damage is developed by the usage while they have mentioned in this description of the product under Warranty and Installation section that it has 5 years of warranty including One-year manufacturing defect which includes service with FOC material input and rest five years warranty limited to the only service excluding material input.
Pepperfy is selling the poor quality of product as well as providing poor service to the customers.

Return policy is so rigid. Cant exchange. Staff is just so firm... sorry no exchange. Sometimes, what u get is not suitable whn u display it. Exchange should be allowed on online purchase
I had purchased a gold-leatherette gaming chair from Pepperfry and the order when delivered was in very bad shape as the carton that it came in was in horrible condition on 6th April 2023. Raised a complaint through the app with the customer service team and there hasn't been any resolution to the case. Wrote to them as well via email and they say they haven't received the email(this had included the pics of the gaming chair). Eventually the Pepperfry customer service did say that they had received the email however the pictures were blurred as per the team(I had to re-upload the images again).
Customer service did not provide any timeline and had always advised a 24-48 hr turnaround for two weeks(what a joke) as every call I had made, this promise was made. I had later contacted the grievance team via email on 19th April and they too as usual promise a 3-4 days turnaround wherein a technician will visit and provide their concurrence. They never came as on the date I am writing this. Grievance team called again asking if the technician arrived - again seems funny that they aren't aware of their own systems and they in turn ask the customer if the needful has been done.
A very bad experience and as a customer I would suggest not picking up anything from the online website or store. You will definitely regret it.
Damaged products delivered - Order was of INR. 41,000/- When i called the customer service team, the team was reluctant to take back the product, Customer service sucks big time, they will shamelessly tell you that they will repair the damaged product and give you the same product for the same price. If a customer has to buy refurbished product, they can buy from OLX, why would they pay the inflated price at Pepperfry? Customer service representatives are rude, unhelpful and also lie so please RECORD ALL YOUR CLLS WITH THEM without fail or else they will tell you all lies. Also, their ticketing system is very opaque, you will get a ticket number in an email after you speak to them, but they will never mention the exact issue that you have faced in that Ticket. When you challenge them for it, they say it is an internal policy that such details are not to be shared with the customers. Now think, what kind of a person will not like to document the details of a customer issue? Let me answer, the kind of person who does not want to leave any proof of the customer's complaint and have deniability in case something goes massively wrong. The product finish is not good at all in addition to the damages. They very smartly use fillers to cover up cracks in the wood. The chair which I received had balancing issues. After many heated calls, they have finally agreed to process refunds. Will uninstall this application from my mobile the day i receive the refunds. Horrible experience.
Pepperfry is the most untrusted of them all, I had ordered a mattress from the app and it is supposed to get delivered by 27th, which they didn't, after waiting for long I called them and tried to verify the matter, I was told that they are not in contact of the delivery agents and that they don't know the status, I was surprised but what to do, I had no other option but to wait, so I keep calling them everyday, and every day they come up with different excuses, now finally after 10 days suddenly when, I had called them, I was told that the product has been delivered, which was uttered lie, I raised complain and asked for the signed details of the me and they said they will give me the refund after investigating the matter, and if they found that it's not delivered i will get my refund, I had no option to wait, though it cost me a lot of tension, (obviously if you pay and still they try to do this kind fraud, how it feels) now immediately next I'm getting a message and an email to rate the app. Which is dangerous. I wonder why they are in the in business like way. We as costumers trust a site and order, they as company do $#*!ty tricks to do all sort of discomfort and try to do fraud. Horrible company. I purchased a Mexico Coffee Table in Wenge Walnut Colour By Furnitech (Solid Wood) from Pepperfry in Y2020 and its still within 36 months of warranty. After I had highlighted the crack that I could observe recently in my product at the intersection point between leg of the table and side panel of the table (a Screw joining both the spare parts), a technician was sent out for inspection. The technician inspected to confirm that this manufacturing defect and it could be replaced once spare part is delivered by the company but to my surprise I received a call in 2 days time from Pepperfry team to suggest this damage does not qualify as manufacturing defect but a usage defect (normal tear and wear). How can this be a wear and tear issue when a crack is observed at the intersection point! I am extremely disappointment with such a after sales service and would certainly not make any future purchases from such company who cheats customer in the name of usage defect even though the product is well defined within warranty.
We wanted wooden TV unit, so we visited PepperFry showroom at Kandivali West. We have seen finish / colour of Siramika Honey Oak Bar Unit and we found it matching with rest of my wooden furniture. We ordered Siramika Honey Oak TV Unit on 23-Jan and received it on 6-Feb. To my surprise, we have received dark TV unit (below) which is not at all what we have seen in showroom or on website. We requested Pepperfry to do re-polish. They have sent their carpenter (Shabbir Shaikh) and he too agreed that it is too dark and cannot be made light without removing dark polish.
Now started my painful follow-ups. Their resolution team manager "Sarvesh S" denied that their carpenter has agreed that TV unit is dark and insisted that it is same as shown on website and showroom. He refused to do re-polish, or replace or give refund. I was also told that I cannot modify polish or else my warranty will lapse! I have again spoken to carpenter, he confirmed that he has told his team that TV unit is dark. So, where is the integrity of "Team Pepperfry"? Since then I'm almost following up on daily basis to get it re-polished or get replacement or refund.
After all these days, I have understood that Pepperfry model is completely different from Amazon or Flipkart, where you can easily return products. Your ratings and feedback do not appear on product page.
Do we as customer have to accept whatever they deliver to us, whether we like it or not?

Ordered a 2 & 3 seater sofa from this studio. The sales person (Arvind) has been extremely sweet and give you all the confidence to get the product. He has given an assurance that they will help us with all the communication and support that we need, if we order from the studio. You will see their real color after the payment. If you cancel the product even in an hour they will charge an amount (first punishment for purchase). The product that was delivered to us was in two different sizes and colors. We reached out to the customer service and Aravind multiple time. Aravind don't pick the phone and he will message with a response that he escalated it to the customer service (different from his first time sweet talk). Customer service rep (Rohit) informs us that we cannot return the product according to their return policy. The size difference and color doesn't matter to them. The quality is below average and we getter better ones from the normal shops. I can say very clearly that they are open looters and the real thieves. Stay away from them. I have the proof of call records and pictures of the products.

Delivery management - dont event ask about it, never ever on time.
I placed an order with them for Victoria Corner Stand, order number *******. It was supposed to be delivered to me between June 11 to June 14th.
Their delivery boy called me and told me that they have some commute issue so it will be delivered by 15th. But, they did not delivery by 15th. So I called them and told them to check.
I heard from Customer service that their system shows that delivery attempt was made on 14th and no one was available( What the F).
Anyways. I told them I never left home and I kept my phone on and I checked with my Apartment Security as well, no one came to delivery. So can you send it now. They said, it will be delivered shortly.
Another day goes by.on 16th I call them and they say they will delivery tododay.
16th morning - I get a call, that delivery will be done in 30 minutes
16th afternoon, no sign/ no calls
16th evening - no sign
16th EOD.#$#@ F) them. I call them to cancel my order.
And what I hear is, we dont care if you received product or not, your order can not be cancelled.
So here you go everyone. Never ever buy anything from them. Better to spend more money and buy from a reliable service provider or shops.
Pepperfry sells inferior quality metal lamps and then when you try to return they say it's not their policy to return. Their customer service and products are both VERY POOR.
