DO NOT ADOPT FROM PETSMART. I adopted a kitten from Petsmart/Lil Bit of Love. The kitten ended up being very sick and contagious. It was obvious that he was sick because he had very bloody diarrhea which I noticed in the litter box. Petsmart should have noticed this before adopting out, as it was VERY OBVIOUS. Not only did the kitten have a parasite, he spread it to my other cats. This has resulted in hundreds of dollars worth of vet bills for not only him but the others as well. The vet got rid of one sickness but it appears that the kitten has multiple! I am still having to put this poor kitten on multiple medications and have had multiple visits to the vet. I called Lil Bit of Love and left a voicemail, they have not returned my call. This behavior is negligent and unprofessional. Since the sickness is contagious as well, I would wager that all of the kittens they are currently adopting out have this sickness, since they are not caring for their animals or taking proper cautions. DO NOT ADOPT FROM PETSMART. They will sell you a sick animal. They will not help you. They will not return your calls. They are an irresponsible and negligent company.

My first time ordering Doordash delivery from Pet Smart wasn't smoothe. The delivery time kept getting pushed back but eventually I received the order4 or 5 hours later than originally promised.
Yesterday, I placed another order from Pet Smart. I mistakenly requested it to be delivered the next day. I called Pet Smart and the lady adjusted the delivery time. I waited for the delivery it never showed up. I call gain and they said that they rescheduled it and will be delivered at 3. It never showed up and I called again. They rescheduled for 6pm. This time it was picked up really close to 7pm closing time. I waited for the delivery and it never arrived.
I call again and they said that they'll reschedule the delivery for 10am tomorrow. See a theme needless to say it never showed up. I ultimately request a cancellation of order. But still kept receiving new delivery times for order.
I spoke with supervisor and as of now I am under the impression that I am getting my refund in 5 business days. Who knows. I will see.
Doordash and Petsmart are trash.
Tip for consumers:
Go to Petco where the pets go. And please don’t use Doordash they steal orders and expect you to pay for it and waiting patiently for an order that will never arrive.

I ordered dog heartworm and flea/tick meds from Petsmart and the order would still be sitting in a wait file if I hadn't called to follow up. I contacted my vet to ask if he had heard from Petsmart because I thought the holdup was on my end. He hadn't received anything. I called Petsmart and was told that I had to submit the prescription to a website and when I spoke to the next person they told me that the order was on hold because they had been instructed to wait for paper copy of the prescription. I never agreed to that. I spoke with a supervisor who spoke with the pharmacy and a letter was sent to my vet who immediately approved the prescription. I heard nothing from Petsmart and called again to follow up. They told me the order had been released and would mail out that day or the next. I still did not hear anything or receive any email status correspondence so I called again and was told it wouldn't even be shipped until Thursday maybe —several days away. I escalated the call again to a supervisor who would not assist me and said she couldn't help or contact anyone about where the order was in process so I would have some real info and could plan accordingly. The employees at Petsmart appear to be untrained, unable to resolve a simple issue and unable to provide any kind of service — I have always had an easy time getting meds before but this is a nightmare. I will never use this company again and I recommend that everyone rethink them as a pharmacy resource. Terrible Terrible Terrible experience. I don't wish this frustration on anyone.

Don’t buy from Petsmart. The obviously have training and process issues. They do not appear to be in a position to fulfil a simple pre-packaged order. Ridiculous.

I had a little Yorkie for 13 years. Tippy Toe was his name, but I called him pie, because he was so smart. Like mathematical pi. My Yorkie was so spoiled that he knew when I was supposed to spend time with him. After working all week he knew when I started cleaning that this was his time. If I left the house on the weekends to go shopping he would tear up my laundry basket. He was trying to tell me that it was bath and brush time. Since I wanted my dog to have the very best I shopped at Pet Smart. They have anything a pet could need. I use to buy dog lollipops. They where rawhide sticks with an imitation type peanut butter that he loved. At Christmas my dog had a stocking that I would fill with all kinds of goodies. I bought his Iams Purina dogs food there in bulk bags for a very reasonable price. I also purchase shampoos, grooming supplies and his little collar there. My dog passed away 2 years ago But I still tell all of my friends about this store. They even had candies for dogs. They where a sort imitation vanilla and chocolate drop that he loved so much. I bought him the cutest little sweater there. It was red with little black colored bones all over it. My tippy was like a little person I spoiled him with all that a dog could ever dream of having. I found a really cool bed there that said I am the king, all over it. Tippy would always sleep upside down on his back. I think he was so comfortable in his little bed that he actually snored so load he would keep me up at night. Pets Smart offers savings on all kinds of things for your pets. They are a really cool store. If there is one near you they even let you bring your dog in and give away free treats to your pet as you leave the store. It seems like PetsMart is heading down the same path as K-Mart and Sears. Lousy customer service, they have an, "I don't care attitude" and the management is awful. I have been to two different PetsMarts here in Albuquerque and it is the same in both places. Today, December 24th I was scheduled to get my Morki groomed at 9:00. When I arrived they said I did not have an appointment. After reading the reviews, this seems to be nationwide. Spoke to two different managers and their attitude was basically that they didn't care whether I shop there or not. You loose one customer, you loose 10, that 10 becomes 100 and that 100 becomes 1,000 and on and on.
I grew-up in retail and I would NEVER think of treating a customer in this manner. I will never step another foot in PetsMart again. And what is interesting is that in Houston when I lived there, it was the same attitude at PetsMart. You went into PetCo and they treated you like royalty. You went into PetsMart and they treated you like dirt. I wonder when they will declare bankruptcy because you don't run a business like this! Especially in retail.

I took my dog to be groomed at a petsmart location yesterday. We have been going to this location for almost three years now. When I received a call that my dog was ready to be picked up I was able to get to the location about ten minutes later. Terrifyingly, when I walked in and told them what dog I was there to pick up they informed me that someone else had picked my dog, when I am the only one authorized to do so. They did not know who took my beloved dog and the groomers were very unwilling to call other pet parents that could have possibly picked her up "on accident'' (their words), not sure how someone takes the wrong dog. The manager offered to check the security cameras and was the only one who was willing to aid in resolving this situation only after I had started becoming extremely distressed due to the lack of knowledge that the groomers had about where my dog was or who even had my dog. I asked the groomers if they had verified my name, phone number, or my dog's name when this said person picked her up and they responded with "uh no". This is completely unacceptable as no one knew where my dog was or who took my dog for over an hour. When we had found out that my dog had accidentally been picked up by the incorrect owner whose dog was still at the grooming salon, the groomers brushed off the situation and said "oops". My dog is a registered emotional support animal, if she had been taken and not returned this situation would have caused catastrophic damage to my personal life let alone just the event being traumatic for both me and my dog. When my dog was finally returned to me she was under a lot of duress due to being taken by complete strangers and will likely not do well being dropped off at groomers anymore. I will be calling the corporate office as they need to rectify this situation and also need to be aware of this location's negligence and lack of care for my dog. We will NOT be shopping at petsmart any longer. This is unacceptable; we expect those that provide services to our pets are following guidelines, practices, and procedures.

**AVOID THEIR GEOOMERS**
I took my puppy there a month ago, and he ended up with a nailbed infection. I chalked it up to coincidence because the groomer was so sweet. Took him in today and two groomers were very rude and looked like they hated their jobs. It was so bad that I wouldnt leave my puppy. He was going crazy, so that should have been a warning signal for me. I did complain to the manager, and he said he would address it. It was not warm or welcoming, and I watched the girls entire demeanor change after the owner of a beautiful yellow lab, Sami, walked out of the store. She became irritated with the dog and tossed her off to another groomer to go and put her in a kennel. She began checking me in and never once smiled. She asked if my puppy had his rabies vaccination, and I said yes. She asked where, so I gave her my vets office name. She asked for the number, and again, I gave it to her. I told her if she had told me she needed this, I would have brought the paperwork with me which she ignored my comment and picked up phone.
At that point, I decided I wasnt leaving my puppy there!

On 10/20/22 I tried to schedule training for my two Poodle puppies with a wonderful trainer I met in your store a few months ago - I was online & I kept getting the message that my credit card was not accepted - I tried 8 times! In fact my credit card was accepted since I have 8 different charges on my credit card from PetSmart. I called my credit card company & they explained that since this wasn't fraud, I needed to call PetSmart which I called the Store and was told to call *******638 & was connected to Angelina who was rude to say the least and insisted I needed to wait 5-7 days to see my credit card refunded. I asked to speak with a Mgr and waited ~30 minutes and finally hung up. This morning I had an email from PetSmart explaining how credit card charges work - amazing customer service - stepping into educating me about credit cards. This email reinforced that I need to wait 3-7 days for ~$900.00 worth of credit & if I wasn't ok with that call back (why do I need to call back - you should just handle this!). The worst part of this is that I am so ANGRY & DISAPPOINTED I won't be using that wonderful trainer (Bobbi) for my girls.
