Stopped by PetSmart and asked for a price for trim and wash. Quoted $88.00. Dropped off dog and got call that due to heavy matting behind ears they would have to cut that area close and it would cost a little more. I went to pick up dog and they had shaved him. Then I went to cash register and they charged $154. To me that is more than a little more for what looks terrible.

The are ok just a little more expensive on most stuff. You can find some good deals with sale items or clearance items. But they do have a good selection.

Great treats, my german shepherd Wilson always gets super excited when a new bag of Blue Wilderness dog food comes in. Not the cheapest option, but Wilson deserves it and I'm very sure he loves it!

Another antiquated business that needs you to create yet another marginal internet account instead of using top-level single sign on SSO providers e.g. Google, Facebook

Sometimes it has its moments when it doesnt work... but I think overall its a great website and for select items you can have them auto ship so you never miss out on getting your pets food!

I tend not to use the website, though it is well-organized and easy to use, as much as just going to one of their nearby stores because 1) I don't feel like paying shipping and 2) you can't buy pets online, only supplies.
I am a rat owner and have had 6 in my life. 4 of them I bought at Animart and they never had problems, 2 of them I bought from Petsmart, and both times within 48 hours of bringing them home I could tell they had respiratory infections (which progress quickly in rats and can quickly become life-threatening) at the time of sale. So I ended up having to bring them back for week-long treatments at their vet.
The only reason I'm not giving a terrible review is that the rats they sold me are very sweet, and aside from the gas money and time inconvenience, the treatment for their respiratory infections was free. However, selling an infected animal once can be coincidence... but twice starts looking like more of a pattern to me.
The Pets Perks card is cool though. I probably won't buy animals other than fish there again, but because of pets perks I do keep coming back for supplies.

Did an online order of $60+ on a Thursday. Notification of order and shipment that same day. Issue #1: charged for shipping though promotion was free shipping over $50. Issue 2: shipments were divided into 2, so not only was I charged for shipping, but I was charged twice. Issue #3: Of the 2 packages I was sent, the one that shipped second arrived first. Issue #4: Finding issue #3 confusing I go to track the other package by the order # and tracking # I was sent via email. Can't seem to find that information, so advised to contact customer service. Issue #5: Customer Service. That was a joke.on hold 2 times for a total hold time of 8+ minutes and they can't track my package either. Advised to wait a few days to see if it shows up. No apology for delay, confusion, double charge, ANYTHING. I can always "Buy another one, abd return it when my package arrives." Are you kidding me?!? I've worked in retail for 25 years. The fact that this is considered in any way shape or form customer service is a joke.

They help to donate a lot of proceeds to animal rescues and have the right product you need. The in store customer service is the best I have ever seen.

Very helpful customer service! Many times, You can find the same products at walmart (doggie treats and doggie collars, leashes, etc) for much cheaper! PetSmart can be very expensive.

The salon portion of this facility is a joke. My friend went to take in her dog to have a full grooming service and after not being acknowledged for over 20 minutes, was told that they "normally do not work on rescues." As a company that has several stores that support the ARL, which is a rescue facility, this was appalling news. Why would you physically offer adoptions of rescue animals at your facility, then state that you do not offer service to them? Then to top it off, she was told that the vaccination paperwork she had provided did not have sufficient information because it didn't include the expiration date of her dog's vaccinations. Everything has been administered well within the year mark, and as a facility that has access to this information daily, I would assume that they would know that most vaccinations are good for at least a year - especially since the dog is only 13 months old.
I have had good experiences at another PetSmart facility, but this experience definitely puts a new view on where I would consider taking my pets for grooming services.

I brought my dog on 10/04/19 to GreenAcres PetSmart Grooming. My dog's (Buju) groomer name was Jules C. I paid $80 to get my dog (Buju) bathe, cut and to clip his nails. When I returned I noticed that they did not bathe him. When I complained I was told that the groomer Jules C had left for the day. I was so upset because I had paid extra for them to bathe him with a specific shampoo. I told the manager Lisa what had happened and she told me to come back and they would bathe this time for me. We brought him back the following day and when he was picked up he had a blood shot eye. I am devasted! They abuse Buju because they were upset with me complaining about the service. They need to be investigated and locked up for animal abuse! Please review your camera for 10/05/19 when he was brought back in.

I took my 5 month Morkie to Petsmart (Cherry Hill New Jersey) on September 19, 2015.On my way back to pick him up I get a phone call.
I thought they were calling to inform me he was ready for pick up. I spoke to a manager who told me, my dog was taken to Banfield Pet Hospital, because the groomer cut his back left paw pad. As a result from the cut bleeding continued. They insisted he continued to wiggle and move which resulted in the injury.
Regardless of his continued movement, HE is a PUPPY. Therefore he is going to move around especially since it was his first time. Petsmart grooming staff are COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE, CLEARLY UNTRAINED, AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
Now he has to wear a cone around his head until it heals. I WILL NEVER EVER TAKE HIM TO PETSMART AGAIN!

Whatever it is, when I ask they show me the item that fits my needs. I always start my shopping there for my pet's stuff. I find they have great customer service and nice helpful staff.

This is the most inept group of individuals I have ever seen. Don't ever try to return an item with a receipt and the item unopened. I've never seen such awful customer service. Don't shop here!

There is no advantage to shopping there when I can get cans
In the grocery store. I only have to make one stop that way.
I haven't seen any significant price difference.

If You actually have any issue with an order damaged or missing Items or wrong Item don't expect to get any actual help when You call the Incompetent Nothings that call themselves Customer Service Reps because You will only have to call and call and call and get one useless incompetent nothing one after the other, You are better off shopping at the Store then ordering online, God forbid if You need a Replacement or Refund You have to go through a whole nightmare on the Phone and still not get any actual help.

They have such a variety of products for pets and sometimes it is hard to choose from them all. The pet food is great and my cats love it. The staff are quick to help you should you need some help.

I like shopping at PetSmart so I decided to order Tidy Cat early online from the 2017 Black Friday ad to save time looking for a cart and/or waiting in very long lines dragging buckets of to & from the register. BIG MISTAKE! I received a confirmation for my order that said I would receive another email when the order was ready. When I didn't receive the second email, I contacted the store and emailed customer care and I was told that the online ordering system was down nationwide. But I was assured that "you will still receive the Black Friday deal and once it was processed in the next 7 days it will be available for pick-up within a hour. You will receive an email telling you when it's ready for pick-up."
Today I received an email cancelling the order "due to availability". This is extremely poor customer service. Had I known that PetSmart was going to do this, I would have been there when they opened at 7 AM and made my purchase at that time. It's not like there is a shortage of Tidy Cat! In my opinion, they should have notified me that they had run out, but would fulfill my order when they received their next shipment, or asked me what I had ordered, put the items aside for me and told me that I needed to pick up the order within a certain time period.
Wish there was an option to give them "no stars"!

I like to buy stuff here for my dog. They always have what I need. Sometimes I bring my dog, and the stuff is very friendly. Bert loves it since he gets free treats.

I like petsmart. And I bet my Duke (German Shepherd) loves the treats I get for him from there! The prices could be lower but still the quality of the food and toys they sell is great.

Shopped online at petsmart.com this Thanksgiving, placed an order online and opted for in store pickup. When I arrived at the store to pick up the merchandise, the store manager told me they were out of stock and cannot honor the order. I went back home, and placed another order online, and selected a different store that has the item in inventory. When I got in the store, same story, out of stock. It was a total waste of time ordering on their website. You can never be sure if you will be able to get the product you ordered. Called their customer service, all you could get is we are sorry, but there are nothing we can do about the order. I asked that since some of their other stores have the product in stock, why I can't go to the other store to pick it up. She said no, once you choose the store, you can only pick it up at that store. To select a different store, you have to place a new order. Both their website and customer server really suck. Avoid them at all costs. Just not worth the time and efforts.

I got a cat there about 1 1/2 years ago in Lansdale it was a rescue and his name is Teddy. We went into store and he actually picked us. We inquired about him and they said the rescue place did all his blood test and all his shots. We where like awesome so we got him and he is the most awesome cat I've ever had great addition to our family and 3 months ago he stopped eating and drank water like it was going out of style and peed constantly. We took him to Harleysville vet and found out terrible news he has terminal kidney disease. I called PetSmart and right away they said that's not our problem call the rescue. I was shocked no one from rescue has called me back. I have spent 1,600 dollars trying to help Teddy but I'm sad to say on Friday 8/3/2018 at 630 we have send him to god. He is in to much pain and his quality of life is very bad. I'm a grown man and I'm heart broken and my wife and son are just destroyed. I would like to say that you at PetSmart should not sell cats and dogs under the assumption that blood work has been done properly and then deny responsibility for any issues like this.
