Stopped by PetSmart and asked for a price for trim and wash. Quoted $88.00. Dropped off dog and got call that due to heavy matting behind ears they would have to cut that area close and it would cost a little more. I went to pick up dog and they had shaved him. Then I went to cash register and they charged $154. To me that is more than a little more for what looks terrible.

Whenever i want to buy some pet stuff, I simply open this and buy my stuff. I like petsmart. And I bet my buddy Labrador loves the treats I get for him from there!

I love the store! Love all that they offer. However, I hate that they don't knock their pricing down. Love that they offer training for your pets. Love the adoption center. Overall great business.

Very friendly service, good deals on food. A go-to for grabbing my children (Cats) their supper and snacks. Only 1 nearby, though. Wish it were closer to us

Typically the best deals on pet food. Website is good but mobile isnt as easy to use on my iPad as I would like it to be. Other than that it is perfect.

I take my dog here for grooming. We have been coming here for over 8 years and we both love it. The groomer are always friendly and helpful. The have a great selection of fun dog stuff.

When I fractured my hip, originally I gave someone who would move the birds, and if I was hospitalized. With a fractured hip, I called him. He got the birds because I knew I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO CARE FOR THEM.

They usually have everything I need for my spoiled little Chinese Cresteds, but I do have to say I've recently taken to ordering their hoodies, as well as ones for mom's cavalier puppy, from Amazon as they're much cheaper...

Petsmart@ Ponc de Leon. In Atlanta Ga. I must say while the groomer was nice, the manager was mediocre. I try not to complain so when I picked my golden doodle up after a cut on my lunch break I was borderline livid. My pups hair cut made her look like something other than what she was. She had a buzz cut in the back of head. He hair on her head was big while her body was shaved close. To say the least my day still has a big piece of matted hair Begin her ear and other matted areas that were not taken care of. I was aware that she had mats on her ear and her elbows ( I get scared to brush them with a wired brush. Called and spoke to the manager who was awful! Because of my concerns for my pup and wanting to know why she was cut the way she was cut and his impatience to try and understand the situation, he placed me on hold left me there, offered a refund ( that I never asked for and then the next day when I called because he left me on hold and NEVER came back, he said I will be giving you your refund and REFER YOU TO A PRIVATE SALON. Basically, I can't bring my dog back to their location for grooming. Poor customer service and management and while the groomer was nice my dog looks horrible! The photos provided are from the day of the cut and the next morning. Her grooming bows are still in her hair. Done 4/4/22

I couldn't manage with my dog... My friend advised me this service and I'm happy that used it. Now my dog listens to my commands and understand more what I want. That saves my time and efforts.

I purchased a kitten from them 3 years ago. I just found out about many medical conditions my cat has always had. Due to this- I have to put my young cat to sleep. They never provided medical paperwork that describes these issues. I WILL NEVER BUY AN ANIAML FROM THEM AGAIN. They were very unprofessional and argumentive when I addressed this issue to them. They have no care for their anaimls. They makes me sick to my stomach and I hope no one ever goes through what I went through.

Soon a petition and grievance will be filed against PetSmart on behalf of over a dozen former employees of a PetSmart store in NJ.

Back in September of 2017 the Moorestown NJ store on Nixon Drive (store in question) came under a new store manager (L'erin Gaines and assistant store manager (Amanda). Corporate knowingly transferred one Mr. L' erin Gaines from the Fairless Hills, PA. Store due to mistreated employees threatening to all quit if he remained employed there. Knowing such an awful tyrant of a person is in charge of people's livelihoods and careers, corporate desides to transfer him to the Moorestown, NJ store location. It didn't take long at the new location in Moorestown that Mr. Gaines continued his tyranny and threatening ways towards the employees that were working there for months and even years. It didn't take long for Mr. Gaines to force employees and managers alike to quit, resign, walk out or get fired. His tyranny and very poor management continued for a better part of 8 to 9 months upon arriving. Why would corporate back a store manager knowing that he has a history of being a major problem, just to cause it elsewhere? This is why a petition and grievance soon will be done in place of over a dozen employees and managers that lost, forced to quit, walked out on or gotten fired while Mr. Gaines was the store manager at the Moorestown, NJ location.

Solution? Yes, an investigation should be done immediately. All employees/managers that were abused by this man and forced out of their livelihoods by him should get their jobs back or offered so if they want it.

The management of supplies is weird and very unsatisfactory. Petsmart used to be #1 store I went to for my cat's supply for many years. I finally stopped using it few months ago due to inconsistency of supplies. For past several years, cats food and litter supplies are not stable. I brought to stores managements' attention these issues, but always was given the same response at different stores location - I was told that Petsmart corporate office decides how much and which supplies to route to a store based on popularity of products. Thus, it led to elimination of POPULAR products TOTALLY! I asked store managers to bring to corporate's attention that even if it is thought (for some strange reasons) items stopped being so popular, they still should be supplied to stores with the lower quantity, the least. However, nothing has changed. For example, I used to buy Dr Elsey's Senior Cat Litter and Dr Elsey's Long Haired Cat Litter for 11 years, at the same store. It always was supplied before in good quantities and always was sold very fast, which means these products are popular. The same was with different kinds of cat's food, for example Royal Canin Persian Food and Royal Canin Hair & Skin 33 Adult Cat Dry Food. Lately, I feel that long hair cats are discriminated by Petsmart company. I am now using their competitor, Petco and other online sources to buy these products. Such attitude in business leads to store closings and I am sure this would be this company's near future.

The prices are the same at Petco, Amazon and other online sites.

The worst experience EVER!... my 11 yo dog had an appointment with Alivia for 11:30 am at the only store located at Yuma, Arizona on 03/11/2021... arrived at 11:00 am and was told to wait outside for Alivia to show up. At 11:30 am, another lady after finding out Alivia was not coming (she was not supposed to work that day) told me that because my dog medical history (my dog had ONE seizure 11YEAR AGO when she was a puppy) she needed to be rescheduled in order to meet her "special needs"... my dog DOES NOT NEED and NEVER HAS NEEDED any special accommodations the past NEITHER at the veterinary office NOR any other grooming salon... I was never asked about my dog's medical or veterinary history when I was setting the appointment over the phone... Awful service!... I will never come back to that store for any reason...

I love that PetsMart has started the Buy a Bag Donate a meal Charity! I think they should include cases of Cat/Dog Wet food to the Charity Fund. Just my opinion

Before I begin, I want to note that ONE older and physically smaller woman is EXCELLENT! That's all the good I can say. I suppose my complaint should be about upper management. The Garners Ferry store at Fort Jackson Blvd in Columbia, SC has the ONE wonderful employee that is knowledgeable and pleasant. Otherwise, the management team and staff are horrible. Time after time I have purchased items that are red tagged on the shelves at a reduced price of some sort. NEVER have these items been scanned at the advertised price. (I understand a one time error but not this continual issue) When I tell the cashier the price she charged me is incorrect the cashiers act impositioned, like having to walk to the shelf to "verify" annoys them. After complaining to management I understand the cashier's laziness and lack of interest. Management didn't care either and actually defended the cashier who only want to scan. If all she can do is scan then why not self serve? For the record, I have never left bad feedback before. THIS STORE DESERVES IT. Poor customer service and lack of employee enthusiasm is entirely different than falsely advertising prices... time after time.

Bad Experience:

What was supposed to be a fun day for my son and choosing his first pet hampster today with the money he saved turned out to be a very bad experience.

We went into the PetSmart in Kanata on his school break, we spoke to the associate Brianna about purchasing a dwarf hamster because my daughter bought one the previous week she informed us that they can't live together in the same cage. I said ok and asked some more questions, she then told me I would need to buy its own cage and she told me their cages ranged from $80-$100 I went to look at them, but then decided to check another stores website and I found a kit for $40. I went back to Brianna and told her we wanted to purchase the hampster and we were going to get the cage on the way home and she said NO, go do your shopping and come back. I told her that would not work for us because I needed to stop on my way home because my son needs to get back for his school. She said NO again and that was my only option. We ended up leaving and at this point my son was crying and I did not want to purchase from PetSmart but he was so upset that I decided to drive him home, go out by the cage then return back to buy it.

Again I got Brianna and she was very rude asking my over and over did you buy a cage, I eventually responded back yes as I was signing my paperwork.

First things first my son's experience was ruined because I ended up having to chose the hampster & secondly the treatment i received because I would not purchase the cage from her was unacceptable.

If Pet Smart still uses Banfield DONT EVER BRING YOU PET THERE! They killed my Healthy eight year old Beagle, in Florida. He had a little lump removed. They told me to pick him up at 5pm. When I went back, they said he messed himself in cage? To come back in two hours! I said I want to see my dog, they refused saying he was in a sterile environment and would be fine. I came back now 7pm! The assistant called me over and said they overdosed my dog on anesthesia, she begged me not to tell or she would lose her job. My dogs gait was off and on the way home he started having seizures! He never had one before. Two weeks later he was dead. He never got back to the healthy state he was BEFORE I BROUGHT HIM IN FOR A SIMPLE PROCEDURE! I couldn't prove it as the girl who told me was gone the same week!

While shopping for a cat carrier, I found a really cute duffle bag like carrier. It was ideal but the packaging was the problem since it was torn, seemed as if someone had already mishandled it. So I did what any normal person would do. I went up to one of the employees and asked if they had any new ones in the storage. He looked at the item and asked if there were any others on the shelf I said no then he said no that they were all sold out, not even bothering to take a look in the back. I was bummed plus I really needed the carrier so I purchased it thinking it was the "last one". I came back the next day for some cat wipes, while passing through the same aile where I picked up the carrier I saw that there was at least 7 new packaged carriers, all the same to the torn one I had purchesed the day before! Then if that wasn't enough to get me upset I see the same LYING A*S employee! What's more upsetting is the fact that if I'm going to purchase something and pay full price for it I expect it to be in great condition or "NEW" like any item you purchase from a store. Really disappointed in Petsmart if that's the type of employees they are hiring!

Think twice before you go to this PetSmart location and get your dog groomed to have a bad experience with the manager name Victoria. First off I booked an appointment for Friday because I was taking my dog to the blueberry Jubilee in Poplarville to be in a dog show. I made the appointment with Angie it's one of the groomers listed on the website. I received the call confirming the appointment and they said I needed to get the vaccination papers in 48 hours prior to the appointment. Whenever came into the groomer salon Victoria talk me out of going with the selected appointment which was Angie called her an old woman and she did not know how to cut a dog's hair to my satisfaction. She said I will squeeze you in today at 1:30 to bring your pet in and I will work on him so he can be ready for the pet show I know how the groom schnauzers. When I arrived at 1:30 I did meet Angie and she said could I help you and I said I need to speak to Victoria so I can bring Elijah in for grooming this afternoon. Victoria had a total change in her attitude toward me said I'm not going to be able to groom your pet because he is grossly matted. I asked her where she see mad on the dog and she picked one little small mat or a tangle on these right leg and said she would have to shave him down to a point that he would look like a chihuahua just because she found one tangle in his right leg. And I told her I was not having my dog shaved down all over including his beard which had no man in it I have posted a picture of my pet for you to see what he looks like. She simply did not want to groom my pet for whatever reason. For one it's very unprofessional for her to talk to a customer the way she did today. I hope this is helpful for anyone that brings their dog into this location to get their pet groomed I've heard they cut pets' ears to a point where there were bleeding. I was so upset that I took my dog to the veterinarian and ask them for their opinion and they said that that girl should be not working there because my pet did not have any mats on it other than a few Tangles and they're not considered a Matt. Don't have Ana groom your pet especially if your fur baby has beautiful long hair. First red flag when she called 30 mins before our appt that made months ago asking if it was cancelled( most likely trying to squeeze someone in). Second, when we walked in she was at the cashier and didn't acknowledge or introduce herself to us. Third called us AFTER drop off to say she will have to shave our dog's hair due to matts. Fourth, we get another call now they can't do his nails. Fifth, went to pick up and the nerve to go on about previous groomers should had charged for dematting... uh what difference at this point? I replied" No, they didn't take the lazy route and brushed him and the vet is able to cut his nails with no issues. You took the lazy route and didn't give us what we wanted so why not demat and charge the 15.00? Also, we were charged a few because he moved too much for the nail clipping but, you indicated you couldn't do his nails. That's contradictory to the initial statement. I explained to her my dog is not bad (you will not give him that label) and she ended it with "maybe you need to take him back there". What? So basically don't bring him back. I doubt corporations supports this statement. You are right with your bad attitude and being argumentative he won't ever be here so you can display your racism for someone else. Its crazy how I brush him a few times a week and specifically check for matts. She lied and knew we would dispute afterwards. Usually they feel them when you drop off. Yeah you right take him back where their solution is not shave and make up sh** and add charges.
