I agree that Pinterest should not be a porn site but they are so random about who they suspend. It is all based on who complains. Therefore someone who pins blatant porn gets away with it because no one complains but genuine art can get you suspended just because a few people want to complain.
Pinterest is excellent social-sharing community website, it collects images, videos on any topic, it promotes any personal or business website by sharing your social content with other people in the community and the world. No complains only a "5" star rating!
Don't be tempted to buy anything too good to be true from Plutodgx. I paid $40. For a product and was sent a cheap toy purse that was worth maybe $2. They collect your shipping address and phone number. Now I get random friendship messages on my phone.
I do not like the newest version. At all. Super boring and hard to navigate. The image is now half the screen, with the other half for info. Pinterest is eye candy. Yes, I knew to scroll down when I needed more information. So many changes over the years, not always good, but this latest one is a deal breaker.
After being on the site and loading over 20 k pins, my account has been suspended and I have no idea why. I contacted support over a week ago and have yet to get a response. I did get two follow up e mails asking me to rate their support. I can't rate what I have not received. Think before you fall in love with this site, because it will break your heart in the end. I have deleted their site from my devices and have no intentions of going back.
The "new" pinterest sucks! Way too busy with worthless annoying crap. When you try to edit, you get an annoying message"oops! Problem on our part." Cute... NOT!
Should have left it the hell alone. HATE IT.
I love this site... my wife has made some amazing meals because of it. She is even coming to be with helpful hints and pictures that help with my vintage muscle cars

Love this site. It has so many different interests. It's like an online magazine where you get to pick what you want to look at and read about. The pictures are beautiful and I have used many of the tips on the affiliated blogs.
Pinterest is one of those super-annoying companies like Facebook, that deserve to fail because of their disdain for their users. Also (1) continuous junk email about pictures (2) they obviously use crappy algorithms (3) forces you to sign up to use (4) floods all google image search applications with their pictures which you cant properly explore unless you sign up and you don't want to sign up as they are obviously a $#*! company
This site stole my identity and created a fraudulent account with my name. Their customer service only replied to my requests to have it removed with stock e-mails. It was clear they where not really reading my concerns. Going forward I have nothing good to say about their business practices and will be sure to spread the word. Right after I call my lawyer.
The site itself is amazing, and very easy to use. It's very simple, looks nice, and works the way it should. But the pinterest support is horrible, most of the time they mistake innocent pins for inappropriate content and don't delete the real harmful, or inappropriate content. If your account ever got banned you'll probably never really get it back, because pinterest support simply does not care if your account was falsely banned.
I am so sick of Pinterest! I have received an email in the past telling me that the content of one of my pins was going against their rules and I was about to have my account suspended. I've emailed back asking which pin that was as everything I had was re-pinned. I never got an answer.
Now, they totally suspended the account when i've Changed my phone and tried to log back in. Not one clue why! I do have a conservative view plastered all over my page, but I never thought they would do that. I've tried to file a report with them regarding my account and i've got back zero answers! Shame on you, Pinterest!
Upon entering the site, you are forced to create an account. After that, they force you to follow 5 different accounts, just to browse the website. Then, when I clicked on a page that was on their website after browsing for about 2 minutes, my anti-virus software marked the page as a threat, and dangerous.
Do not recommend this terrible website.
I wanted to see what it may cost to run an ad with them and it enrolled me in advertising. It charged me about $300 until I was notified and we didn't even get ONE new customer during that time.
I tried working with the customer service to take the charges off and they would no help at all. Never again.
It took 8 weeks for my order to reach this country after many conversation with support they insisted it was on the way when i finally got shipping i had seen the didn't even give the shipper detail until 4 weeks had past
Pinterest customer support is a joke. Except that it is not funny when you are a bona fide business that hopes to use the platform to advertise. Their customer service reps jerked us around for a month clueless about why Pinterest is marking our ads as SPAM. They ultimately said there was nothing they could do about it and told us to read the "troubleshooting" page on Pinterest. What a bunch of clowns. This is not a serious company for serious business.
The related ideas update puts this large circle over everything and you can't see the pins on a phone. One of their last updates puts their logo so large on photos you can't see them. All these updates make it less and less convenient and more annoying every time. Why can't they stop while they are ahead, and maybe just work on their horrible algorithms that continuously suggest things you've already pinned.
I am 48 year old and for over 10 years I had been using this App. I noticed too many videos instead photos. Too much ads. Not what I used to love from this site. My account was closed and I sent an Appeal for Age Verification and this is what I got, (Based on your appeal materials, we are not able to confirm that you're old enough to be on Pinterest according to our Terms of Service so we have decided not to reactivate your account). I hope there is another app similar to what Pinterest used to offer.
I used to love this site. I know everybody wants to make money, but they've ruined it. Most site you can hardly read because of the advertising. I don't waste my time any more. It's off my radar. Bye.
Hate Pinterest... they shut me down and then when i asked why they never let me know. I have messaged them an insane number of time and no reason... when I was back up, I noticed that over ******* pins vanished... no clue why. That was several months ago... I started pinning again and just noticed that I lost another 2000 pins! WHY? I am no doing anything wrong... no copyright problems, etc. Time to start taking down ALL my pins and posting them somewhere else like on my computer. I can; t wait to get off this site.
