This young man is a hard worker he's always there to help people of the and to make sure all of the equipment is clean and the bathrooms. He makes sure that if there's a problem he try's to help. For a young man he is so polite and professional. My husband is 74 years old and he's always keeping his eyes on him when he uses the machines he is a great asset to your gym

Planet Fitness charge my card for 42.00 claiming this is an annual fee. I only been signed up for 2 or 3 months. Monthly fee is suppose to $10.00 + they are going to bill my card again on the 17th. I wanted a refund and to cancel the membership and was told I couldn't get a refund because the charge has already went through. I also cancelled the membership today. So pretty much they stole $42.00 and don't want to refund me. Don't automated charge with Planner Fitness and there was no email regarding this charge.

They are bull$#*!

Their cancelation policy requires you to either send a handwritten letter or visit in person. Both options are the loftiest heights of bull$#*! and should not he allowed, and this isnt just how gyms operate because I have canceled another gym membership via a phone call.
Do not reward this company with your money, because, like an abusive partner, they will make it as difficult as possible to end your relationship with them.

Sleazy business practices
November 16, 2023

I was a member at the Fort Oglethorpe location for about a year. It has basic equipment, is dirty and the showers seldom worked.
I let it slide due to the inexpensive price.
I needed to cancel my membership temporarily due to health issues so I went on my mobile app to do so. I couldn't find a way to do it from there so I went to the company website and discovered that you have to go back to your home gym and submit a form at the front desk. I joined using the app but couldn't cancel that way. There is only one reason to do that. They are banking on the fact that a lot of people either can't or won't go to the trouble of going in and they can keep collecting fees.
That's not illegal but it's sleazy. The temporary suspension of my membership is now a permanent one.

My gym has gone from buckets and mops, spray bottles of disinfectant and cleaning cloths to Swiffer dusters. The cleaners just push the dust around and into the air to be spread around by the big fans above.
I know covid is over, the President told us so, but Planet Fitness still presents that the gyms are clean and sanitary in their ads. But that's not true at my gym. The employees now spend most of their time sitting on the counter behind the desk checking their text messages on their phones or having contests to see who can solve their ribicks cube the fastest.

I love the gym! But...
January 12, 2021

I love the gym! But today I went there and tried to sign in with their touchless sign-in scanners. I apparently scanned my card on the wrong sort of scanner, even though it was right there, facing me on the counter. The lady who worked there was like, "Excuse me, ma'am? MA'AM? It's this one!" And I felt like an idiot. Epic fail.

Planet Fitness manager, Jose, insisted I'm not a member and continued to harass me from 9:35 AM to 9:45AM. He was rude and made me feel abused.The location:1780 Edinger ave. Santa and, Ca.Aug11/2023.i showed photo if my membership card and phone number. Management told me to go,even though I have paid every month for years.

I went into Planet Fitness and the guy said i can't sign you up you have to go on line, well i am pretty good on a computer but once i put my credit card in it would not proceed and every part was filled out. This is to fustrating that i could not go in and pay.

I got the notice that they had taken my 39.99 out of my account. I went in to get a Refund and cancel my membership. I explained that I needed the money to pay for my insurance. They flat out refused to give me a refund. The are thieves and heartless bastards. Plus they do not clean they expect you to do your own cleaning, which most people did not do. Do not join here.

The over gym experience is fine but how is this a multi million dollar company but yet they can't be 24/7? That alone $#*!s up my whole perception of them I mean their slogan is "we work around your schedule" and that couldn't be any farther from the truth. And how early they close on the weekend really sucks because I work nights and don't get a chance to leave my house until at least 6pm and they close at 7? Wtf. Those are bank hours.
