“Total fix”

Stephen C.
2/4/16

Played a tournament game for 4 hours, got myself up to 100 x the blinds then sat and waited for very good hands. Got kk got beat by a which is fair enough lost 10 k then 5 hands later got kk again got beat to 87 they hit 87 lost half my stack then 4 hands later got a a went all in got called by q 10 off suit they hit runner runner for flush with hearts. Been playing real life poker now for 15 years and that just doesn't happen in short amount of plays. The site is a disgrace and favours big stacks. Will be taking out the rest of my money and won't be playing again. Thanks jokerstars

“PokerStars doesn't value its customers and has extremely poor customer service”

Richard C.
10/23/24

Upon closing my account (reason is irrelevant) they state "Please don't create other accounts as this is against our General Terms". In other words, "We don't want you back". This is the same message everyone gets and is not communicated directly when leaving, truly showing that they don't value their customers. After being made aware of this, I requested to not close my account and they still closed my account with an automated message - extremely impersonal and disrespectful. In the end I'm glad that I left permanently, knowing how little they care about me!

I have played online poker for a solid year and a half now. When I play live I see lots of hands just like online, I have never seen anything like what happens on pokerstars happen in live poker. The shuffling is supposed to be random and is "proven" to be random in pokerstars... yet I can sit with JJ and say ok someone with a low Ace hand is going to call me and hit his ace somewhere... and lone behold. It happens... every single time I can sit and call the hands like that. But who is going to fold one of the 5th best hands pre flop?... This is outrageous in my opinion. When I ask pokerstars employees to tell me where I can go to report their rigging of their site they simply rub me off with a oh blah blah blah we have proven it is random and cigital has done reports on us and yada yada and never once telll me where to report it. They say oh we can give you a report of all your hand histories to prove it to you... well that would just help me prove my point... the fact that 90% of the time when I go in being the favorite I lose. Statistically incorrect don't you think? Well pokerstars doesn't think so... shifty?... dirty?... hell yes.

Pokerstars, what a joke I signed up to Pokerstars just over 12 months ago, I have now closed my account.
Why would I do that?... 1st problem entered a 1 dollar spin and go had sixty dollars taken out of my account, the response from support I have entered a sixty dollar tournament and asked for my log files 48hrs after the incident, which ironically they can only read from previous 24 hrs... fishy... 2nd playing cash games in one day alone had AA
Seven times preflop pushed all inn lost every hand including one hand off AAAQQ I lost to a pair of sevens the odds of that to happen are in the thousands... 3rd rewards offered by jokerstars, don't get honoured they welch on there bonuses. Finally I have played poker for over 20 years and online poker make u doubt every hand u play. Pokerstars 888 and full tilt stay away from these sites the main man behind Pokerstars is also the man behind 888 and full tilt.is it any wonder full tilt was banned in America for scamming customers, they just jumped ship to the Isle of man, now there scamming European players instead. Wake up people online poker is a scam

People don't be stupid and don't deposit single penny in this site. They are RIGGED and SCAM SITE! They take your money with smile on your face.
I been playing this site for long time, then quit for few years, and now played for a month, and made 241 picture with SICK BAD BEATS where some freak wins at RIVER OF COURSE... IF you get 2 pair 88 % of times you will loose with that hand. IF u are ahead to other players on flop with top pair, 92 % of times u will loose at RIVER if he keeps playing with flushdraw, or straight draw or even runner runner, he will get what he needs most of the time. I can't win more then 2 hands in a row, other players can win 5 hands in a row against same player, EASY. Crazy players ( i believe BOT) call with some $#*! like ( 9 5) ( 8 5) ( 10 7) etc pre flop all in against AK AQ KK AA and they win most of the time. And i understand there can be bad luck, but lets be real, 241 hand, in one month? This site is JOKE same as 888, Full tilt all these poker sites should be banned because we all know they just keep stealing money from us. They WILL NEVER EVER LET YOU WIN BIG MONEY HERE. On these sites are playing BOT ( computer) or site workers who see all cards and what will come. So people, lets play poker LIVE and lets shut down these SCAM sites!

As far as playing on the game. It is now only play money for the U.S. but that is okay for me because I only ever did use the play money feature.
I like the playing of the game, I re-installed it after a few years of not playing it. Now it is more relaxed and there is not so many players that raise and go all in, all the time, because it is play money. They usually seem to treat each hand as if it is real money.
The problem with Pokerstars.com is how they handle problems the members might have.
Bad customer service.
Outside of problems someone might have had with a deal or hand, the only other problems would be with purchases.
I had a problem with buying play chips. You can buy more play money, which is ironic, but can get you playing in the bigger play money games. I picked the $1.99 package, which would be 350 thousand worth of play money. It instantly declined my card. I checked with my bank. They received no charge request. I followed all the tips from pokerstars, I updated all my personal information so they could check that with the card information. Declined it instantly again. I checked with the bank. No charge request from Pokerstars.
So I contacted pokerstars and explained it. They immediately said it was my card issuer and I should contact them. I explained, AGAIN, that I already did and it never got to my bank. They forwarded it to their payment department and someone there immediately told me, on autopilot it was my card issuer and that I should contact them. I told them again, like the forwarded email already explained, that all that had been done and the bank never got it.
No reply. I re-contacted the first Pokerstars help department, that the payment dept. was no help. A day later someone from the sales dept. there, said to basically not contact Pokerstars about that, and to contact my card issuer. Or how they put it exactly; "If you are having issues purchasing Play Money chips, you will need to
Contact your payment provider directly for further assistance, and not
PokerStars."
This is actually a problem a lot of businesses are having. The employees don't know to deal with problems with their merchant programs. Cards are getting declined and they don't know what to do, and the default response is to tell the buyer to contact their bank. Unfortunately they make it worse by coming off like they don't care, and are not listening.
They just lost the U. S for real money purchases, and yet they tell buyers, they are not interested in helping and it is their problem.

Tip for consumers:
Don't purchase anything. Because if you hav a problem with it, they will not help.
