Had a wonderful trip. The ˜Lucy was a great Cat, plenty of room and well equipped. We had a great instructor in Dino, who explained everything we needed to know. We got some great sailing in, saw some dolphins & turtles, and colourful coral fish. Weather was mostly perfect, aside from one squall that left a couple of us green for a short time. Perfect thing to do with your favourite bunch of people, plenty of rest and fun to be had, in a beautiful part of our country.
That was simply the best. We came over from Denver USA for a 3 month holiday in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and parts of Queensland. Everything had been wonderful until we boarded Portland Roads, then things stepped up to the next level - Damn! It was brilliant. So cheap when divided between our crew of 8. If this was in our backyard we'd be here every holiday. A week ago we were all ready to go home, now we all wish to stay. A huge customer service tick from our crew to yours - World class with a quirky accent. THANK YOU Portland Roads, so, so cool.

Myself and my family had an exceptional time onboard the Portland Roads boat. Been a smaller boating company, the service we received was more personal and nothing was a drama. *** took the time to show us all about the boat and made sure we were confident enough before he sent us out to sea.

An excellent experience, thank you to Mike for the great briefing and assisting us on the leg to Hamilton Island. The boat set up and advice on where to visit on our sailing adventure was excellent. We started out as six novices and after just five days on the water we are feeling pretty confident with basic sailing and would love to do it again. We sailed LUCY for 7 nights. Deano gave us a suggested itinerary with heaps of local knowledge and it didn't disappoint. We had 5 adults and 2 teenagers on board and there was plenty of space. We saw some magical places. Lucy was easy to navigate as we had minimal sailing experience.

We are Australian owned, operated and staffed. We are locals, employing locals. We passionately employ local Ngaro Elders. We care as much about you and your experience, as we do for the 74 Ngaro Islands and Waters of the Whitsundays.
To start our story, we sought permission to Sail in the Wake and Walk in the Footsteps of our First Nations people.
We now respectfully interpret 60,000 years of mainland Yuwibara, Koinmerburra, Barara Barna, Wiri, Juru and Gia history, Along with 9,000 years of Ngaro island and seafaring stories.
