Late night shift at a hospital- ordered locally and it was smooth, app worked perfectly and came here faster than the stated time! Not sure why so many have had issues, I hope they keep up the good work!

After I placed an order for Rubio's, I deleted an order on October 13,2024. I was only partially credited the order according to my bank records. I was still showing an $6.37 for the delivery & tax they charge. I contacted the company on the morning of 10/16/24, because that is when I showed being partially credited on my bank account. I then contacted POSTMATES to get a FULL REFUND because I was only credited $18.46 instead of the FULL AMOUNT WHICH WAS $24.83. POSTMATES told me because it was more than 2 days after the order THEY COULD NOT ISSUE ME a REFUND. What THEIFS. So I was charged $6.37 for an order that I CANCELLED & NEVER GOT. Everyone BEWARE of POSTMATES SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!

It was over * *** hours before my order was delivered even though I live just * blocks from the restaurant (I'm disabled), my order cost $**.**, it was absolutely COLD! And each taco was very poorly made (almost no ingredients), and I was not given a receipt which the manager said I needed to replace my order HOT. Not happy! What can you do to help me? At this point, I will return the cold food and I would like a refund.**Thank you for any help,**Richard Edgeworth****-***-****

We used Walmart app to place an order for our family of $200 Worth of food. Guess what? Apparently Walmart uses postmates to deliver people's food orders placed from Online or using the app. Well long story short, the postmates driver decided to keep all our food and we are asked out of our money back for the next three days! I plan to get drivers information as they have ours and will be sure they get fired and will have there information! No one in Vegas should use postmates

Worst service ever. Scam. Paid, didn't get but half the food. Gave driver a good tip and he said he was going back. Never herd back and was charged and restaurant (Copper in Charlotte) said nothing they could do. Great model. Driver had fake phone number with 1 extra number so it was not recognizable

I ordered last night and my total at check out and the total my card was charged were extremely different amounts. Unauthorized charges, I will never use this service again. To get customer service it's all through email, no phone number.

I would give zero stars if it was an option. Absolutely HORRIBLE delivery service! Do NOT USE! They cancel orders frequently after charging your card for it, and when they do decide to show up, its more than an hour later, when food is cold and/or soggy. I am not sure what is going on with this company, but they really need to get it together, or shut it down!

I've been in customer service and or the food industry for over 10 years. I do not know how this company is still in business. The ETA on your food delivery changes every 5 minutes and God forbid you decide to cancel. They'll still charge you so you may as well wait while you starve. Absolute GARBAGE.

If I could give them a negative review I would. I ordered food that was $10.99 and the total came out to be $22.08 which I thought was high. As soon as I placed the order I was charged for $28.04 with no detail as to where the increased price came from (in fact, the total on the order still shows $22.08). I submitted a report which was changed to "resolved" without ever being contacted and the charge still standing. By the morning, they had charged my account $33.66. The total for the food only, no taxes or fees included, showed to be $22.66. When I emailed, they claimed the price of the food can change depending on the merchants, which was untrue in my case because I called the restaurant which confirmed the original price of $10.99. This is a huge RIP off and I am deleting this app as soon as I get my refund.

Their subscription service implies that you will get free delivery with the monthly or annual fee. In practice they will then charge you $5+ per order in "fees". These are the delivery charges essentially masked as operating expenses which are one in the she for a delivery company. If you are not a member you are then charged twice for the same service(double dipping is illegal in many states). The consumer does not know this unless they have used the service before and had the rude awakening when your $25 food order becomes $31 with delivery fee which itself then becomes $38 with taxes and fees($2 tax + $5 fees) making your $25 order $38 before tip for the driver. The tips are a whole other scam according to drivers who claim they don't get the same that you give or sometimes anything at all.

They are double dipping and using misleading marketing practices.

This must be a terrible place to work. I ordered for the first time today. My order was incorrect and missing two items. I notified Postmates. A person responded, advising me that I would get a refund for one item. I emailed again, asking why. No response.

And BTW, Postmates system for notifying it of errors is cumbersome and not at all user-friendly.

UPDATE: I eventually got a response from a Postmates rep and after some wait, I finally got a refund for both items that were left out of my order.

The stole my $45, they was rude, I decided to try them out because of their fake promotion, I didn't place any order and I was charged 45 Dollars, I asked them through chat box and they rudely told me that they don't have a number to call them because I asked for their customer service number. I called uber eats and the person I spoke with directed me to postmates customer support team, the lady was rude and hang up the phone I called back and someone named Antonio picked the call and was rude and racist. I didn't place any order, they wrongful changed me for an order that I didn't place. I deserve my full refund because other companies would have given me my full refund.They said they don't care how I feel and told me that I can't get my money. I will never advise anyone to use them. Their customer representatives needs to be fired.

Ordered food from Ruth's Chris at 6:15. They told me it was picked up. It never arrived. At 8:45 postmates cancelled the order. There was no cell number or email address to check on the order during this time. Never will I ever order for a restaurant that contracts thru Postmates.

My last day with my company and a co-worker ordered 4 of us lunch. 2 of us didn't get anything we ordered. After talking to Postmates they gave him FOUR dollars back (our food was way more then that) and it's only a "credit for next time!" None of us will use postmates again!

I added a new credit card to my Postmates account. A screen popped up saying it had been successfully submitted. So I went ahead and placed my order. Later, I get a receipt in my email showing that they had charged my old credit card. When I contacted customer service to fix this, they looked it up and told me that my new card had never registered on the site! This, even though a screen informed me that it had been successfully submitted! An obvious technical glitch on their part, yet customer service refused to admit to their mistake, as well as making no effort to fix the situation. Very poorly set up system and runs essentially like a mom and pop store. PLEASE refrain from using this service! They also grossly overcharge you in the name of processing fees.

Ordered food the delivery man took a pic of my door never knocked sent the pic and pulled off. When talked to someone immediately after they told i would have to wait 10 days to get my money back and left it at that.

This is not a company or business, is the biggest modern scam and i dont know why Chipotle has them as one of the delivery methods. I wanted to change the room of the delivery within a second of purchasing, and they charged me 11 dollars. The customer service representative said over the email that next time i should pay more attention?
If you dont want to lose money, dont use this "company" Scammers big time.

So I ordered from them on April 6th food was delivered and there was an issue with my order. However when I attempted to contact support the website took me to Uber Eats and I specifically ordered on Postmates. My order was not available on Uber Eats since I did not order on there. Now magically today I am able to contact them but they will not issue a refund because apparently it's out of their refund time. But that's not fair if I wasn't able to contact you the day of my order to get this resolved and I have video proof and photos as well.

I do post mates ready to leave I try really hard the pay sucks and I always communicate with customers letting them know times food not ready yet. Ect. But the pay is unfair 3.45 per delivery maybe 2.50. I mean we drivers work really hard I also do door dash least I let the customer and door dash no what s going on and get paid good money. But really gas is going up so does the pay. The owner needs to know about this before they loose employees. I like to see customers happy I dont ask for tips but sure helps I also know its expensive to order through these apps. I hope the owner reads this reviews. Here a picture to show what we get paid. I mean it great and all but please every thing going help help your bussiness grow to.

Postmates is the worst delivery company on the planet. I scheduled a large order for employees a day before. They charged me hundreds of dollars but the restaurants never got the order. I tried to contact them before hand to explain the issue but they never got back to me. Now I have to pay hundred and hundreds of dollars for meal penalty. A rip company with terrible customer service. Save your self the stress and use DoorDash, Uber eats or any other delivery or pick up service.

I cannot count the number of issues I had with their support service! Missing items not reimbursed, never answered my claims etc etc. However this is the most expensive service among similar ones. Do not use it guys, you will have a lot of troubles with them

I put an order in through Postmates for Smashburger for four different burgers and some fries. When the order arrived it was for four classic smash burgers, none of which I had ordered. What was worse is that one lunch was for a woman with celiac who could no longer eat her lunch and one was for a co-worker that did not eat red meat for religious reasons and was waiting on a turkey burger. Frustrated and highly embarrassed as I was buying for the whole office I tried to contact their customer support. Initially, they responded and gave me $7.00 back, not even a quarter of the disastrous order. Since then I have emailed their customer support center daily requesting a call from a live human being and there has been no response. I want everyone to know that this place has NO customer service, careless drivers, and NOT to order through them EVER.

Stay the hell away from this app. My coworkers and I waited an hour for our food and received a confirmation email that our food was being prepared. After waiting outside the building for 20 minutes I emailed Postmates and they basically said sorry won't happen again and updated the arrival time to an hour later. Then, after I emailed them demanding a refund and saying this was unacceptable, they cancelled my order and all they would offer was a $3 credit. I am beyond furious. Never again!

If I could give a negative star I would probably give multiple negative stars. Postmates is a SCAM. They will take your money, never show up with the food and have no way for you to contact them. They just steal your money and laugh about it. ANY delivery service is better than this garbage scam.

I placed an order THREE HOURS ago. The restaurant said the food was ready 30 minutes after I ordered. My card has been charged, yet here I sit without any food. The policy clearly states that if I cancel my order, I will still be charged. At this point, now I know how this company makes their money. You charge customers for a product they will never receive, and after they wait several hours and cancel their order, you get your money and we get absolutely nothing. This business needs to be shut down.

There is no way to contact them with a question. We are all sitting here wondering where is our lunch. They emailed two different invoices -both have same foods items, but each has a different price. He is now 1 hour late. But we do see that they have charged our credit card.

Postmates is horrible. I placed an order today like I do a couple times a week. Today, I didn't receive my order and Uber eats refused to refund my money. Uber eats asked me had I gone around to neighbors looking for my food. I placed the order at night and I don't know my neighbors because I've been in my house less than a year. It was a stupid idea to suggest. I will never use Postmates/ Uber eats again. The customer service rep said that Uber eats doesn't reimburse patrons who don't receive their orders..
