Do not be fooled. This thing renews automatically no matter what you click. Not only that, they will not let you cancel on your login as advertised. Instead all you see are available plans. Likewise, there is no way to contact by phone. I sent a message via the website with no reply. I had to cancel my credit card. They are very sly. It is immaterial whether or not the program itself works since they continue to charge without authority.

To update my last review I've now managed to get some type of refund for my annual plan but they charged me $190 for one month (no explanation of why so much was offered). In the end, I was happy to take a partial refund since that's at least something. They did let me keep my plan for the remaining months in return for accepting a lower partial refund, for the sake of $40 I accepted. I think that for anyone looking to cancel, be refunded or have payments that were taken for another year returned etc, you may be facing an uphill struggle. Be mindful of this when buying and consider alternatives with a more robust customer service reputation.

In my experience, this sketchy company continues to bill me in spite of canceling and never using my account afterwards. Plus, they don't provide an easy way to contact them to cancel. Bad business practices.

It is expensive, difficult to use and the presentation can come out wrong. Even after deleting images, they appeared in my presentation, nowhere to be found on my timeline. You spend all of this time doing a presentation and then it is just wasted away. I don't recommend this product at all!

Unbelievably bad customer service. Like speaking to robots. We lost money trying to deal with them due to their unwillingness to investigate their own bank's transfer charges, or to offer any explanation. Even for a very small amout of money, they seem willing to totally trash their reputation. Uncourteous and highly unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.

I upgraded in hopes that it would resolve the numerous glitches that would randomly appear. It was a problem on any computer I accessed it on. I upgraded in hopes that that would resolve the issues. It didn't resolve the issues and I was unable to access the upgraded features. They're trying to say that maybe I dont know how to use it. Im no idiot. I use software like this all the time. So now I'm FIGHTING for a refund. They need to work out the bugs before the sell this product.

Powtoons SUCKS. DO NOT PURCHASE POWTOONs. Ugh. Despite having saved my latest version, it did not save. The first time this happened, I thought it was me. The 10th time... I know it's on their end.

It only works on Chrome. I refuse to use Chrome after multiple viruses. I use Firefox. Won't work. So, I have to download Chrome. After about an hour in Powtoons, it freezes up, won't load changes, etc. It sends a message to clear cache etc. Does not work.

TOTALLY A RIP OFF.

I had a 1 year Premium account, and they auto-renewed the subscription without my authorization. I immediately contacted them and demanded a refund, which only spurred and endless back and forth. They offered a 1 year extension. No I said. Then they offered half price for one year. Not interested, refund me now. FINALLY they promised to refund my credit card, but never did and stopped responding to my emails. Two weeks later I had to force a chargeback through my bank. $#*!s.

I get it if you make a effect or a feature not used by anyone a pro item but lets say i want to download a video created from powtoon i have to get Pro+ pro is only 19.99 but if you want TO DOWNLOAD A VIDEO YOU MADE you must give 59 a month and if you are a new team of creaters dont use powtoon because AGENCY IS 99$ this site had fallen from grace and is only a money cow.

IT SUCKS! IT SAYS ITS "fun and easy" blah blah blah ew BUT ITS NOT GOOD AT ALL! NEVER USE IT! I HAD TO USE IT AS A SCHOOL PROJECT BUT I COULDN'T FIGURE OUT ANYTHING! IT SUCKS! I COULDN'T EVEN FIND A BLANK WHITEBOARD WHILE USING IT! ITS ALL JUST DUMB TEMPLATES

This is hard to learn expensive and bad quality i dont recomend this site at all so overall in my opinion its SH#T.

Presenting information can be boring. Sometimes I struggle with knowing how to turn good copy into something visually interesting. With the Powtoons interface (right in your browser) you can bring your presentations to life with appealing animated videos.

How I used Powtoon as a business tool:
1. Create sales videos to close potential buyers.
2. Build explainer videos to showcase my product's features and benefits.

How I used Powtoon as an education tool:
1. Curated a step-by-step guide for teaching SEO to rookie students. It was a hit!

The big plus for me is that it's easy to use; I had no prior experience making animated short films. You can export your videos to YouTube easily without worrying about video hosting. If you get serious about your presentations, you can upgrade to an upgraded, ad free experience. The free version includes a small Powtoon's logo in the bottom right hand corner.

Con: This type of presentation takes much longer to create than a standard PowerPoint. My opinion is that the final product is quite stunning and well worth the extra effort.

Diverted all Powtoon mail to a spam folder, they will not remove you from the mailing list despite numerous requests.

You need deodorant all horrible school videos are made with powtoon and powtoon is stupid!
