Daughter had school trip to Italy from Australia. I unfortunately did not think about ordering a card sooner. At about 14 days out from leaving we telephoned and also corresponded by email to the wonderful helpful staff at Prepaid Zero. We were told it should take 8 days for the card to arrive. Unfortunate this was over the Christmas period and by the post marks it had left Europe very promptly but unfortunately in arrived 1 day too late for my daughters departure. I was worried I might never see my 86 euro again for this data and phone prepaid plan. After contacting them, I sent it back with all details. All ended very well.
A more effective use of your money would be burning it to send smoke signals. Took over a week's communication to get data working in the US, and, despite further communication, it did not work at all anywhere in Canada. Of course, their T&Cs absolve them of all responsibility, so no refunds or apologies.
Be carefull, I thought I bought a T-mobile card at Prepaydzero. When I was in the USA, I had less than half of my journey coverage! Prepaidzero now says I accepted their conditions, so no guarantee at all. I'm very disappointed!
Bad service
I asked for a sim card for Paris France. I asked for instructions in English. So they gave me a UK phone number. Then my buddy there in Paris couldn't call me without incurring extra charges. And my calls to him cost. 25 EU per minute, which is too high.
Prepaidzero phone card. Terrible service! Paid 45 Euro for a USA4gb simcard that didnt work.We had e-mail contact to find out why it didnt work the way its supposed to work. When I came back from my vacation at USA I wanted my money back. But no one is responding to my e-mails now.
Support had been in contact with you about this report a few weeks ago.

Ordered two T-Mobile SIMs which were labeled as usable in US, Canada and Mexico for a trip through Canada. Both SIMs were activated according to the instructions, only one received a phone number.
Neither SIMcard had ANY data whatsoever. Support told us once to 'enable roaming' and simply mailed a PDF with the instructions we already had, to no avail of course. Requested a refund but all communication was ignored.
The phone is never answered. Our tickets were closed without any confirmation or even a reply. Bad, bad service and a waste of money, effectively inditinguishable from a scam.
Tip for consumers:
AVOID. Wish I had noticed the huge amount of 1-star reviews sooner.
Dear Jeroen W,
The mentioned sim card subscription had a lot of technical issues until November 2017.
We can confirm that the provider has been replaced in the mean time, so such issues should no longer occur with our current USA sim cards.
If there were any unresolved tickets/issues you may contact us again. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
I have bought a prepaid sim card for my trip un Australia and i cannot reach the support bu phone or email, i ask to be refund and i did not get answer from the support, i have sent 2 mails when i was un Australia and when i came back in France but still no answer, unbelievable!
I bought a prepaid sim card with 3gb of data for 45 EUR, and when i arrived in Sydney i got a text which said: Sorry that recharge was unsuccessful. Please contact ******* to speak to an agent and note that the maximum plans that can be applied to one account is 12.
I have to spend Time on phone with the local phone company Lebara to credit by myself data credit that were suppose to be credit in advance. I payed 32 EUR to credit 1 gb of data by myself.
This is not acceptable that prepaidzero support or the phone number support dors not answer.
When a service is not due we must be refund.
The card arrived timely in Singapore and worked well in France and Belgium.
However, when I was attempting to top up, I had to give a UK address which I do not have as I was holidaying in Europe.
I ended up not having data for the last two days of my holiday.
In my experience the sim card for "Mini-Europe" was:
-Easy to use (automatic activation)
-Fast internet browsing
-Good network coverage
Point of more attention is to accept other top up payment methods than just PayPal.
As we had to create a PayPal account to top up the sim card. Our experience with the US sim card from last year is the same as above.
I recently went to London from US. Bought the prepaidzero UK+Europe 12GB data SIM card and added cash on the card for talk/text. I was told it was compatible with my galaxy s5. When I put the sim card in my phone, my phone just said it didn't recognize the card and wouldn't do anything even through wifi. I bought it mostly for data so I could use GPS but thank goodness my daughter had a phone that worked. I couldn't contact prepaidzero until I returned as my phone wouldn't do anything and was told since I was already back there was nothing they could do. After many emails, I did receive a refund for the cash balance on my card for talk/text. It was a very frustrating experience during my vacation. I wouldn't recommend.
Pretty much OK, only point of improvement is the coverage in national park regions. Might be difficult though, as placing cell masts could effect nature/environment in these areas.
Fast internet service in all countries we visited (France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany)
I certainly recommend their 4G sim card for Europe, as many hotels and bars have complicated WiFi access or reach, this sim card helped us to look up things online without the hassle of finding a working WiFi spot.
The prepaidzero card miniEurope with 3GB data volume I bought in July 2016 was shipped very fast and basically worked as it should. But the download rates were extremely different from country to country. Worst it was in Switzerland where the card connects to Sunrise provider which normally is downloading very fast over the 4G network in the area I live. The speed was more like 2G! Nearly useless. In Sweden it worked not very good either, around 2-3G depending of the location (never connected over 4G!). Oslo was quiet good and UK was best.
So, prepaidzero should write in their thermes & conditions, that you don't get a full download rate in every country.
Phil
I was going to USA for a week and bought a SIM card from PrepaidZero in order to keep up with my mail and manage work remotely. I suspected something wasn't right when I got the card and the instructions said I had to enable roaming!? The entire idea was to NOT have to use roaming. As it turns out the card I got was actually Israeli! And when I used it in my Samsung Galaxy S7 I never got better than H+ (no 3g or 4g or lte) which just wasn't working. I ended up paying for a roaming deal with my normal carrier instead and got 4G right away.
Not worth the gamble.
Dear Kris S,
Data roaming needs to be enabled for technical purposes only.
There will be no extra charges when using data roaming with our sim cards.
Also the sim card that you purchased is a sim card up to 3G speed (H+ is a form of high speed 3G)
From our side everything is correct.

I bought a prepaidzoro simcard for internetconnection. 3 GB. I got only 2g internet in different states (california, new york, also in the big cities). It worked, but very slow. Paid 30 euro for 3 GB, used only 50 MB in three weeks because of the slow internet. Could not get 3G orr 4G, although I tried several times. Did'nt get an answer from prepaid zero. Very Bad!
Thank you for your comment. Our AT&T sim cards work on 2G/3G speed. We do have T-Mobile sim cards that work on 4G/LTE, which offer a higher speed.
See: https://www.prepaidzero.com/product/usa-tmobile-4gb-or-unlimited/
It is sad that you cannot increase the data unless you have a British credit card. I never could figure out how to text using the app, so unless you are calling people don't pay for that feature.
Thank you for your response. From our own top up page you can recharge with any credit card / PayPal:

Our apologies if this wasn't clear.
(When you top up through the local provider directly, they may have such limitations indeed)
If you rent from Prepaidzero be prepared for lousy service and lousy products. My sim did not work on my trip around the world and it was not possible to contact the helpdesk in any way.
Prepaidzero does not offer WiFi rentals at this time. We only offer a MiFi device which you can buy. May I ask to receive your order number? So we can look at the order you placed. We didn't find any support ticket under your name "Frans" concerning problems with a MiFi device.
Worked better in the UK, very slow coverage in the Netherlands. Had to switch around the mobile network constantly to source a workable speed eventually settling on Tele 2.
I bought a SIM card but never received it. Contacted the company but never got an answer. 2 weeks later got a message from my credit card provider that my card was tried to being used in Amsterdam.
Worked great during our trip in Europe.
We visited Germany, France, the UK and the Netherlands.
Only switched the sim card and all worked automatically from then.
Very convenient sim card that worked for us in France, Germany, UK and Italy. Internet service was automatically available in each country at 3G speeds.
I did a road trip in South-Africa. I was very glad that I could use the sim card. It is very easy to use. The reception was very good. I would definitely recommend buying this!
Used a T-Mobile + AT&T sim card from Prepaidzero during my holiday.
Worked perfectly during the trip from the beginning. Will use them again for my next trip to the States!
We bought a 10Gb Vodafone data SIM for a two month trip through Europe. Normally we buy data SIMs in each country, but with ten countries to cover we went with a Europe-wide SIM, despite the price. The SIM went in a Netgear Mifi unit to serve two iPhones and a laptop. For most of the trip we got 4G coverage.
However, we used the 10 Gb before 30 days and topped up the SIM with another 10Gb/30 days. However, 30 days after the original purchase, the SIM deactivated. We contacted PrepaidZero by phone from Slovenia. There was no quibbling, and a new SIM was shipped by UPS from Amsterdam to our campsite in Slovenia, which took a couple of days to arrive. Plugged the SIM in and we were up and running again.
PrepaidZero seems to be a company that is trying hard to improve. The Vodafone Europe SIM is good. The back office at PrepaidZero ranges from poor to good. The people on the phone are nice. Do not shout at Dutch people - it will reduce the service you get.
We found it to be a fantastic solution while traveling in California.
Our smartphones and table were connected all the time.
Much better than looking for public WiFi that never works!
I bought a prepaid card for the usa. I followed the instructions. When I came in the USA the card was not activated. After one day trying the telephone, I got connected with the phone company and they said that they could activate. I got a phone number but no money and no data or textconnection. In stead of it I got messages that I had to pay money to use it. I mailedt with prepaidzero. To ask what was wrong. This took 2 days. I had to call to get an answer. Costs a lot of money(For me at midnight otherwise they weren't open). At the end sorry we did something wrong, you get your money back. The request to put money on the phone number they wouldn't do that. They were suprised that I was not in the mood to give mij credricardnumber for a card which was activated in for me not clear meanings
At the end 3 days of anger, costs for telephonecalls, no sleep (contact in at night) no phone, no data and higher costs for calling with my old number..
I bought a sim card only data and the minirouter for China for having always WI FI available. The sim card at the moment of attivation was completely low balance. Never again
