About a week ago I downloaded typing tutor and am happy with the program, it works and the lessons are simple and very easy to follow. I was looking for a program that would let me practice and find out how fast I can really type - so far my typing could still be a little better, however that's why I got the program. If you need a typing software, this one does the job.
Like so many others I foolishly subscribed thinking subscription was 9.95 as advertised. Never received requested information I recently received credit card statement for 29.95, including a $0.83 foreign transaction charge. Don't, under any circumstances subscribe.
This does not do business in a reputable manner. STAY AWAY!
After entering my billing info I was redirected to a page which required that I spend from $20 to $30 dollars more in order to continue. My credit card was already billed for the original amount even though I did not get the download.
Bought password recovery 5, gave credit card number, went to download then was informed it would be 20 dollar additional. So the true price was more than at first indicated. (This is like going to a fortune teller and finding the advertised price is only the "introductory" or "basic" one, then she says that the real price is considerably more.) One feels put on the spot but goes on out of curiosity. This was not very straightforward. Then i find it has to be "installed". However, the PC i need to fix is LOCKED -because the password is lost. So needless to say i cannot gain access to the pc to install the program. The software therefore is useless.
Well, I Am waiting to see if they give me a refund. The software did not work at all. I couldn't even get it to work with plain text. I got the automated response so far. If anyone needs to know how to recover their password in windows 7 I can help you to do it for free. I ended up staying up all night and had to do what the software was supposed to do. They did give me a full refund so I am changing their rating. I am very surprised everyone did not get a refund. I think maybe they changed their policies or something?
I downloaded and ran the software Password Recovery. My Windows 10 then wanted a sign-in with the lost password. I had hoped the software would solve this, but no luck.It is a total waste of funds and effort, it does nothing.
Prosoft3D is a Scam. I purchased the software and was charged $29.95, not the $9.95 priced advertised. It says it works for all windows, however I needed it for Windows 2003 server and it did not work. Refund policy advertised is not what they deliver. After following there Refund Policy to the letter I never received a dime back. Only responces that they are investigating. Well its been weeks of investigation and still no refund.
Have contacted my Credit Card Company to dispute charges.
The software worked well for my e-mail password but not for my zip file, not sure why. I contacted them and did receive a response quickly and they offered me a full refund even though it did work for one of the passwords I needed.
Thought I was buying this at the advertised proce of $9.95. However once they have your payment details they tell you its $29.95. I clicked the back button on the browser but they charged me anyway. I complained and they promised a refund - twice, but it never happened. I've now initiated a credit card chargeback but their disputing it! Either very inept or engaged it sharp business practice. Have nothing to do with them.
I purchased the $9.99 software that apparently can recover any password... you just hover the mouse over what you want uncovered and it should show the password. First they charged me $29.95 ( they said I bought the upgrade version, which I didn't), then the software didn't work on anything. Whenever I moved the mouse over something, instead of showing the password, it would just show the name of the software/website. I immediately asked for a refund and they gave me no problem with that but I had to remind them twice during a two week period to refund me and when I finally received it, they only refunded me $20, instead of the $29.95... so I had to contact them a third time. It was just a pain in the butt and the software didn't do what it was advertising for.
I have downloaded the password program and it worked on an office document that was password protected, which I used on my computer before, but didn't remember. I emailed them before I purchased to make sure it will work and explained which password I needed to recover and that I was able to open this file earlier and they said that it would work, so I bought it. I would suggest that you contact them before buying, since they can help make sure the software will work before you purchase.

This company is nothing but a scam. I purchased their $9.95 US password recovery software program online, and they ended up charging me $29.95 US. I had not agreed to this and found out 'cause I review my credit card statements. When I called the company out on this, they said they would refund. But I again had to follow up. They refunded me just the $9.95 US amount and not the FULL amount. I again had to go back to them to demand my full $29.95 US refund. I had to follow up yet again to receive my refund. And to top it off, the software didn't even work.
Stay away from this company. Their product Password Recovery 5.0 doesnt work and they will not refund your money as promised. Manny is the person that handles all their email responses and will promise the refund is being done. After 2 weeks still no refund. Those that have been frauded by this company need to file a complaint with the FTC to get this company investigated and closed down
ANGRY - I purchased the software from this company and it does not work-they do not respond to my emails and have no tel# to call-and I am out 39.95 dollars-Help! The name of the program was password recovery5.0
The program was pretty easy to use, although I also wanted to run it on my Mac and it only runs on windows. I was hoping I would be able to run it on both my computers. I will have to find another program for Mac, but for Windows it worked well.
Follow up to my reveiw of Prosoft Password Recovery Software. I reported earlier this week that it does not work. And it doesn't.
But, their customer service department did respond promptly and processed a refund.
Like to be fair, give thumbs down to the product but thumbs up to service.
I purchased the password recovery system, was charged 29.95 instead of 9.95. I couldn't even download the program (not that it would have mattered, apparently), contacted the company for a refund a week ago. Heard nothing back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS, IT'S A SCAM!
I bought this on line and it did not work at all and when you go to get help from the company it does not work at all. There is no way to get to the company for help and so I had to go to my credit card company and make a complant for it to get if off my bill. I think that this company is a bogus one and just out there for the money and nothing else,
Product doesn't work, customer service is a joke, should have checked the reviews first. Do, not get scammed, have a feeling the good reviews are written by them. Do not get scammed this product is a rip off. STAY AWAY
The operators of this site are scammers. Saw a promotion for iProSoft3d software ad on CNET for $9.95. But, unbeknownst to me, at purchase, it attempted a charge of $29.95 on my credit card. The charge did not go through, so I entered a different credit card. The charge was approved. Only later did I find out from the credit card company that the charge made was for $19.95. The first credit card company which did not approve the charge, treated it as a fraud and called me next day to ask me if I had attempted a purchase of $29.95 from Mobile Software Tech. If not, the credit card company was going to treat this charge as a fraud, freeze the card and issue a new credit card. Only after significant research did I find that Prosoft3d and Mobile Software Tech are related. Watch out for these scamsters.
If I had time, I would pursue this company through various authorities untill I put it out of business.
I purchased a 10 passwoRd software and they billed me 20! The software doesn't work and now they have billed me an additional 30 for tech support UNAUTHORIZED! Unbelievable... I will contact the state police department about this fraudulent compant.
With the software I could open the password on my daughter's computer which was locked and it successfully changed. Thanks for your support in this matter, definitely will recommend your program.
Its a Scam and ripping off customers. The software did not work at all and no response from customer services after emailing them several times and no phone number is listed on their website.
Tried signing in as administrator and it worked. I was using latest version of windows and the program installed easily, but I needed to re-download it a few times which took extra time.

After reading all the reviews of Password Recovery 5.0 I was concerned about it's legitimacy. I took a chance and purchased it. I got exactly the same result as most users reported. I was charged $29.95 when I was led to believe it cost $9.95. I immediately contacted Prosoft3D using their eMail customer service process (disappointing to learn they did not have a human to discuss the issue). They (Mandy) responded immediately with a promise to respond within 24 hours. Approximately 8 hours later I was notified that I would receive a full credit. Turns out that even though my credit card company reported a $29.95 charge, in reality I was only charged $9.95. The refund showed up as stated. I notified Prosoft3D that I would still like to try the program if they could explain how to use it (it's online instructions are not very intuitive). They immediately sent me a link to a download site which has their latest version of the program. Not sure why the original sales receipt did not point to this site. I downloaded the program and after convincing my anti-virus software that I really did want to run it, it launched with a much more intuitive instruction set. This version worked exactly as advertised. I'm not sure why their logistics are so problematic but in my experience it was definitely not a scam. It just took a little effort on my part. An issue that Prosoft3d might want to work on.
Tip for consumers:
Be patience
Down loaded (for 39.99) software as I forgot my log in windows 7 (Administrator) password that I changed a few hours ago. Does not work. No help over week ends

The tipoff that Prosoft3d is surely a Scammer is that Prosoft3d touts reducing their price to $9.95 for everything, yet at checkout you are REQUIRED to choose to add 1 or more options costing $20 to $30 Dollars each for those very same INCLUDED functions.
It also appears that they attempt to lure their victims into initiating erroneous steps at checkout, which would result in double or triple billing.
