Police department shoes up 4 to 5 hours after alarm company call 911. For four hours your house would be robbed and burned. Why paying for the alarm system?
This is a great company IF you want to pay your premiums on time for 5 years only to have them completely IGNORE you the one time you need them. Had a fire at our house---they admit they got the signal but then didn't even call the fire department. Because they're sorry it happened, they said I only had to pay half the balance left on my current contract in order to cancel it. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN! You'll only realize how awful they are when catastrophe hits and they are nowhere to be found!
My son came home and thought he had disarmed the alarm. It went off and he got a call from Protect America clearing the alarm. He left and the police we not notified of the false alarm and showed up even though my son was told the police would be notified. That cost me $100. Forget collecting a nickle from Protect America.
