I love Pure Formulas for their quality vitamins (including Pure Encapsulations) and their decent prices. Not always the least expensive (Vitacost with a coupon can sometimes be less), but dependable and usually with very helpful reviews. I am always surprised by how many other items they sell besides vitamins (food, hair- and skincare, etc.). They also stack coupons.
An order that should take 5 minutes takes over an hour because of multiple problems with their website! So called customer service is more concerned with NOT accepting blame than they are in correcting the problem! Extremely immature! Will be switching to another company!
Unable to leave a review on Reseller ratings where this company directs its "satisfied customers" to leave review's, left me to believe their customer "happiness team" blocked me from doing so due to the nature of my review. And then I found this site!
My order with this company went missing, and over the course of my communication with several different C. S. agents, mainly –– a Miss SHARMA MILLER –– I was told by one in particular that no matter the results of the claim, I would be offered either a reshipment or a refund. I opted for a refund due to the fact that I would be away on an extended trip.
However, once the claim's process had completed, They went back on their word and offered me neither a refund or a reshipment. Once I got a supervisor on the phone, I was told the only way I could receive a refund is by disputing the charge with my bank. I firmly believe that a company should stand behind what they tell their customers, "100%", being that our word is all we have. I also made a point of contacting the owner of the company, and never received a response.
Due to this companies lack of integrity, I had no choice but to dispute the charge. I also informed them that I'd be filing a complaint against them with as many agencies as possible, starting with the BBB for their unprofessional business practices. For a company that signs their emails "Customer Happiness Team", one would think they'd at least pretend to care about the happiness of their customers.
Absolutely disgraceful!

Package is sent with USPS without insurance - my package was sent 03/10/2022, since then it says arrived at Customs Facility in Germany on 08/10/2022. Customs in Germany and German DHL Post confirmed after a month that package can't be found and is not insured so they can't do anything. I've paid 16 Dollars for shipping and over 60 Dollars for the order. PureFormulas Customer Service said they can't do anything here, they can't refund nor send another replacement package - they just said that their policy states that the buyer takes all risk when ordering international. Meaning international buyers don't order here anything, if package is lost by post, your money is gone. I've lost 80 EUR like this. There was no insured delivery option to choose from (I've would have picked that one), it was not clear when ordering that I'm picking a delivery without insurance (tracking was provided, but useless). Also payment with PayPal didn't work (website error, maybe on purpose?). Now I'll report this to my bank and see what they can do here further. No help from PureFormulas, nor USPS, nor German Post.

Don't order international buyers. If package is lost, your money is gone, they don't take any risk or responsibility and ship without insurance with the basic post delivery

I never received my order, and despite numerous emails to the "help" email address, I never had one actual (not automated) response. I have reported them to my credit card company. It hope someone from this company gets arrested.

I have purchased from PureFormulas for quite some time. They have excellent products and ship very quickly. The reason I gave them 1 star is because of their horrible customer service. This is the first time I have had to return an item unopened and every time I call (so far - 10 times at different times of the day) the company I get a voice message stating they are busy and will call me back. I finally got a call from one of their representatives and was told they would send me an email "right away" with the necessary information for me to do so. That was 6:43pm the previous day and it is now 1:15pm the following. I have been on their website trying to use their return process with no luck and have had two emails from them thanking me for my request, but no information to return item. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING! Now that I have read numerous other reviews about PureFormulas, I see I'm not the only one who has had to deal with their "customer be damned" attitude. Do yourself a favor and don't purchase from this company.
They relabel and should be assessed by FDA and charge 100 % markup suggest user to be careful about overdosing they sell what other company's cant sell on the internet legal
They don't send shipping notification and tracking. They also refuse to refund a order that was not arrived.
Customer service is also really bad.
I purchased 2 bottles of Nutri-West Core Level Health Reserve 120'S last week - from PURE FORMULAS my wife immediately opened them and took 3 with her lunch as usual - she fairly quickly got indigestion - so I looked and smelled the vitamins: they had a rancid odor and were a dark brown rather than the usual green color. My wife got progressively sicker - to the point of vomiting.
I wrote PURE FORMULAS customer service to warn them about this problem, sent them pictures comparing the color they normally are vs the dark brown of this batch & to request a refund - only to receive this unsatisfactory response:
"Unfortunately we cannot accept opened items. Please contact Nutri-west for questions about the change of color and smell in there products, being as they do change from batch to batch..."
My only recourse was to open a dispute with my AMEX card.
There is absolutely no way to know a vitamin product is contaminated or defective without opening the package.
Amazon sells these same vitamins - they would instantly refund if you wanted to return a defective product - even if opened.
Don't buy these from PURE FORMULAS - I believe they are selling THIRD PARTY GOODS!
Their laughably titled "CUSTOMER HAPPINESS TEAM" are incredibly unhelpful.

I am concerned that they don't seem to care. All the posted review's are from years back - nothing current. Going to write to Jose Prendes the CEO to alert him of the company's bad practices.

But their "Customer Happiness Team" is unhelpful to a fault.

Hi everybody at Pure Formula, we would like to give you a great review.My husband and I have been using the Nano products for years now. We have received a lot of benefits by taking this product, and have used other companies to get these products. The review has to do with Sharma Miller. We called last Friday right before you were closing for the day and got Sharma on the phone. She said that she couldn't do the order now because it was late in the day, but to call back Tuesday because Pure Formula would still offer the Memorial Day sale. As we spoke to her we noticed that she had a very nice personality, which when you call places these days to place orders you end up with very few people with a nice personality on the phone. It turned out to be our destiny to get the products from Pure Formula. It was only Friday so when we got off the phone with her we thought, oh, it's a Memorial Day sale. We should be able to find a lot of deals on these products. So we had Sat, Sun, and Mon to call other businesses that sell the products. And, this is what we mean by this being our destiny because we called everybody and left messages. Places didn't call us back, they didn't have as good of a deal, and some didn't carry the nano product we wanted. It just seemed for some reason nobody else was going to work. Because, now it's Mon and it's Memorial Day and we searched the internet for everybody and we had no luck. So now it's Tuesday morning and we called Pure Formula, and got Sharma back on the phone. She remembered us from Friday and gave us a little better deal on the products we were getting. She is a very nice employee with a very nice personality. We were glad we called Fri and got her. We placed the order on Tuesday and got the items quick because we live in Jupiter. We wanted to give Sharma a good review basically because of her being nice. Do you realize the world can get fixed if you only got nice people on the phone whenever you needed something? These days it's very rare to get somebody like her on the phone. Thank you Sharma and Pure Formula. I would recommend a friend to use you.

Took a few days to dispatch my order, but Covid, so other than that I received my order and it was what I ordered. No complaints!

I've been ordering from Pure Formulas for a couple years, maybe a total of 7 - 8 times. My orders arrived in time and were left on our front porch. My last shipment was not left at my home but a notice from The US Post Office was left in the mailbox stating there was $6.21 postage due and I have to go to Post Office, stand in line, pay the extra postage, and they'll give me my $115 (FREE SHIPPING) order. Not happy. I called The Customer Happiness Team at 8:45pm eastern time and apparently everyone had gone home early because all extensions were unavailable. I called the next day and was told my package wasn't left because there wasn't a safe place to leave package and the extra money was because Post Office had to keep it and I had to pick it up - WHAT!?! No, there is extra postage due because you didn't put enough postage on it... She (Lynn) started arguing with me that they put enough postage on it. So apparently Pure Formulas never makes a mistake? They are all super humans? I'm a liar? Why would my 8th shipment suddenly not have a safe location? Lynn said because that's what the Post Office put on the tracking. WHAT?!?! Is there a box for them to check that states you didn't put enough postage on shipment? No! I went and stood in line and I asked the Post Office; they said this happens all too often. Pure Formulas put enough postage for 2lbs and it was actually 2lbs 2 ounces. I paid the extra postage and took my shipment. Lynn at Pure Formulas said the only thing they would do for me is reimburse my account the postage once I went to the post office, stood in line, paid for my FREE SHIPPING, got a receipt, scan the receipt and email it to them. REALLY!?! That's it? Yes, that's it! Well that's it for you too!
Why is your customer service lacking - why do you have so many error issues with your web site - why do you allow one or more of your supervisor's to be indifferent, argumentative and stubbornly refuses to follow through or follow up regarding customer service issues!? Without your customers you would have no jobs!? All of these issues need to be reported to the BBB and the Florida Attorney General's office; so hopefully positive and productive change can and will take place! You are definitely going to loose many customers the way you are treating them Pure Formulas!?
I am currently waiting on Francisco or one of the Pure Formulas team members to issue the prepaid return shipping label for Order #******* - USPS still does not show this order as being received - just a electronic shipping label was generated! I opened a dispute through pay pal; since it was not possible to resolve the order issues with Mary There were 12 or more emails that went back and forth between myself and Mary - it was time to stop - nothing was being resolved! I even tried calling Pure Formulas to speak to Mary; but was told she left for the day!? I ended up being passed to another supervisor; Francisco who stated 2-3 hours ago that he would be sending me a prepaid postage label - which hasn't come yet - probably because the alleged shipment has still not been picked up/received by the USPS - who knows at this point!? I finally asked Pure Formula's in my last email attempt - to send me the prepaid postage label again or go into pay pal and issue my refund for $53.08!? Still Waiting!?
This is an update to my original review. I opened a complaint with the BBB in the state of Florida against Pure Formulas. To make a long story short Pure Formulas sent me an impersonal email telling me they would no longer sell to me and I could look elsewhere for my supplement needs and that's how they left it!? I did finally get my refund through pay pal; as I opened a dispute and pay pal escalated it to a claim; since Pure Formulas had still not issued my refund. The BBB was willing to keep my complaint open so that other prospective buyers would know how Pure Formula's treated me as a long time loyal customer! Pure Formula's will get back what they have given! All I can say is buyer's beware of this company!
