I read a lot of questionable reviews and was skeptical about ordering from this place... so I placed a small$20/30 order to see how it went. Mind you, I literally live in the middle of nowhere and didn't expect to receive my order. But to my delight not only did I receive my order but it was fantastic! I did pay for expedited shipping and it came 2 days later than it should have but to be fair it was memorial day weekend. I will be placing a larger order with rainbow shops this week for work out gear. I'm plus size and people have no idea of the struggles to find cute clothes for us larger ladies, I'm so excited!
I placed an order online from rainbow on 6/4/24 and another order the following day 6/5/24 as of yet I still haven't received neither of my packages, my packages are being shipped by FedEx smartpost which is the slowest and worst shipping carrier method to use, and when I check the fedex tracking system the status says my packages are in ellenwood georgia facility and it has been there for over a week now and ellenwood georgia facility is the slowest and worst as well for any packages to go through, and now FedEx Smartpost has finally handed my packages over to USPS for delivery and the USPS shipping status says on one of my packages status that it's arriving late delivery date unknown and on my other package the status says that a label was created waiting on package from rainbow the shipper. I called rainbow customers service on 6/14/24 about this issue and the representative repeatedly talked rude nasty & unprofessional just because I asked her about the long wait time and I still don't have what I paid for and ordered online from this company, but my issue wasn't resolved by that nasty attitude individual so called representative. I will never buy anything else from this sleazy low classed unprofessional business again.
I like shopping rainbow but, I do have an issue with them not providing detailed info about products. Boots I've ordered were suppose to to have been WW but the site doesn't give you dimensions and cust Serv has no idea either. Your site needs to upgrade and provide better info on products specifying dimensions, high stretch, no stretch and etc. And having to pay for return shipping or having to get store credit is not cool. Although a label is provided, shipping is taken from your refund so you're still paying. I usually shop online and because of lack of detailed info, I have to return items. It's pretty much a chance taking experience. To prevent this in the future, you should provide more info about the product because the return process is not a great option in my opinion.

When ordering boots , not really plus size friendly for larger calf. And some clothes are cut small and you may not have the option to size up in clothing. If you see the item as being baggy it may be ok but fitted and no specification of high , low, or moderate stretch, you will be pretty much taking a chance purchasing online .

I received a broken earring and found that I had a pair of two left earrings. I asked for a replacement but was told when I called in that they don't give replacements only refunds. That's not my fault and if I reorder I'm taking a chance at getting another pair of broken earrings and have to pay another shipping charge and wait for them to come in the mail. This isn't the first time I've received broken earrings from Rainbow, it's just the first time I've complained. It is my last.

That broken items cannot be replaced. I really liked the earrings but I can't just wear one. I have an event an have to find another place to find something similar. I'm disappointed because I've been shopping with Rainbow for years.

I've had to replace the zippers on two pairs of jeans. Most of the blouses have stitching that has unraveled, resulting in a hole. There isn't a Rainbow in my city so I usually order online. So I always go up a size. I bought a really cute jumpsuit that I only got to wear twice because it started to unravel from the center torso, down to the crotch. So in closing, this store is good for a quick fix outfit. Just don't expect to get any longevity out of it (unless you know a good tailor or you can DIY).
On the site the clothes look so cute but when you get them 2 months after ordering them because they come from China, the products are cheaply made and feel cheap. These sites don't tell you where they are being shipped from until you receive your tracking number. Lesson learned. Buy from known companies!

Just from reading all of these reviews about horrible customer service, they have already lost my business! What kind of business allows their sales associates to be so rude to the customers! Also, from what I have read, it isn't just one store either! Pretty much all of them! No thanks, I'll pass!
Rainbow is the type of store that you should shop in person for. Shipping the items is fine, I haven't had any issues there and the quality of the clothes is what you are paying for. However, it seems that the clothes themselves (size being) are all over the place. I ordered the same size I would normally wear and some are too big, some too small, and only 1-2 items were true to size. I don't like the fact that I can't tell you to size up or size down from your normal size because it truly ranges from outfit to outfit. Your best bet is to shop in store and try on the clothes to avoid any hassle of having to return items. I should also mention that if you buy bathing suits, underwear/bras, or a bodysuit the sale is final and they can not be returned (even more reason to just go to the store).
That being said, my overall opinion of rainbow is good when shopping in store but online not so much.
I ordered a under garment sets from their website as their store doesn't have very much to look at in terms of selection when it comes to intimates. I'd had decent clothes from them before so I wasn't too worried when I ordered. As a plus size gal, I wear a 42 D sized bra, and 3 out of the 4 bras I purchased were closer to a 32 D - They didn't come anywhere CLOSE to fitting around me, and every other bra I've bought every where else fit just fine. I called to see if I could exchange it but they refused very rudely, saying I should have been sure of my size [I was!] before ordering. The panties are also VERY small and very poorly sewn together. A total waste of 50.00 if you ask me. Won't shop here again.
Where as I like the clothes I've ordered twice for delevery. Absolutely Horrible. No one cares where your order is and the help you get is well it's not our fault. I think I'll stick with WISH at least that way I know it will be $#*!ty. I thought I would give them another chance. I'm sorry I did. Sorry but you've lost my business for life.

The company has the best possible way of losing customers. The worst business practice. Why do they need to check ID's? Its not a liquor store and most people who shop there are under 18 and they would like to go shopping with friends their age. Also, the employeees are just soo rude omg. Please hire new people on Grant St. In Buffalo, NY otherwise people will just stop shopping there. Other than that, there are nice clothes for a nice price.
They show you a picture of electric scissors but they will ship you a cheap $2 manual scissors. This site is a fraud and I am reporting them to Facebook to stop their advertising. Do not buy anything from Rainbows department.
I made a significant order some months ago and everything I purchased is now pilled to the point that there isn't any way to wear it. It's cheaply made, poor quality fabric. I know I should have expected this but after such little wear and tear, you'd figure it'd hold up a little. The dye also rubs off on your skin on black shirts, and can stain other clothes in the wash.

I have been a loyal customer at Rainbow for many years but after my recent purchase, I will NEVER order from them again. I ordered a size 10 shoe and they sent me the wrong size. I'm really irritated. What a waste of money! Their clothes are also very poor quality. I will never ever purchase from Rainbow again. I'm very disappointed.

I have over $178 their cart right now, but after reading these reviews, I will not give them a dime. Im deleting my cart and will never shop with them. One thing is I understand you get what you pay for, but theres no excuse for such horrible costumer service. Saw a friend ordered a clothing item from Thai company. It did not fit her properly, she wanted to return them. They asked her if she had a friend to give them to because they didn't fit the way they should have. Then went on to say they would refund her $5.00. What a joke this company is. I will never buy from them and I will let anyone who asks me about them, know what happened with my friend. I'm writing this review because that is the worst customer service I have ever seen out of any clothing company. "Don't you have a friend you can give them to"? F%^* off.

I bought a few outfits from here for my daughter. First time wearing a cute "Fierce" set the shirt ripped. I sewed it up and she tried to wear it again and it ripped in another place. She wore a plaid top next with roll up sleeves. She came home with the sleeves down because the button fell off. While sewing on a new button a different button fell off and all the buttons have loose strings. I'm not sure that top will survive a wash. Then she got two unicorn tops they are better but most the glitter came off in the wash and continues to come off. The jeans so far are holding together but the patches are coming loose. Just pass on this place.
I used to shop from rainbow because of how close it is to where I live and how cheap it is. I stopped shopping there because the clothing didn't really align with my personal style, and also because how bad the quality is. The clothes would usually start to look like they were in bad condition after a few washes. I don't recommend shopping From rainbow if you plan to wear their clothes long term (for at least 5 years). Speaking of, their clothes are fast fashion which means that they are not sustainable/ made with good quality and not meant to be worn for a long time. I didn't want to buy clothes that I know will end up in waste and being in that constant cycle of buying and giving away. I'll rather buy clothes that will last me a long time and not have to constantly follow the latest trends. In conclusion, rainbow is not the best quality of clothing and they're better options of clothing out there.
So I came in here on my birthday, shouldn't have, but I just wanted to treat myself real quick and buy me something small. So I'm shopping, as always, the employees are running their mouths about my body... Ya know, california so use to fake stuff. They've never seen real booty before. I'm shopping for about 20 minutes and the employees down to the guy fixing the light had so much to say about MY body. Weirdos... lol, I just turned around and returned anything I could returned that I bought and just got my money back. Will NOT be returning.

I give zero stars I ordered 6 bras all same size the size i normally wear 4 were to big 2 are to small I can't ware not one if them and I can't return them. That's so wrong so basically they just stood 50$ from me its not my fault there sizes are all over the place
I was visiting family 3 hours away and was never informed of the return policy. Most companies will state their policy during the purchase or circle it if it's on the receipt. This store did neither nor was it posted up by the registers. I get back to my home town and need to do a return and was told that in order to get my money back I have to go back to the original store 3 hours away... I WAS LIVID... even after calling the head office, I was told sorry you have to go back to the original store. I had my receipt and it was bought with my card.
So do not buy items for family out of town because you will be screwed and the merchandise will fall apart.
Very unprofessional customer service. I placed an order a week and a half ago never got the confirmation email had to call 3 times to get my order shipped and they were rude mean and nasty I will never buy or order anything from Rainbow again I was so excited for a plus size store that's a horrible but very disappointed on how I was treated because I am not those people who are rude and mean to the customer service people they were rude to me.
My order was lost or delivered to the wrong address. I called rainbow and the first person I spoke to was nice and told me they would need a week to investigate where my package was. Well a week later I hadn't received any update, so I called them again this time the lady that answer was rude by not even letting me ask my question; if they had found my package?, and just told me "I was getting a refund and for future reference if any other package is lost or not delivered they won't be responsible" and just straight up ended the call. That's just rude.
Now, how am I supposed to order from them again, if they can't guarantee that package is properly tracked. I won't be buying from them anymore.
Yes I did request a tracking of my package through FedEx. They also said to give them a week to try to find it. However, no one ever got me an update.
I will never order from Rainbows ever again. I did 2 day shipping to have a dress for Saturday night and the dress gets here on time but instead of the size I ordered it seems like the dress is a xl. And for a plus size girl that is never ok. So I call and ask about the return policy and my dress was only 7.19 and I was told you don't get shipping back and they charge 6.95 in order to use their label. I will never order from them again.
I am very disappointed with Rainbow Fashions. I placed an order for an saree. The wrong saree was delivered and no one bothered to revert to replacement. Such a pathetic and worst experience. Do not recommend to anyone.
