I am a realtor proposing to advertise on Realtor.com. After talking with 2 sales rep., I changed my mind.
They were both rude to me and acted like they were annoyed about me asking how my $1000 monthly advertising would bill would be spent.

I don't think highly of Realtor.com due to their erragence and rude reps. I don't recommend using them as a source to get leads as a realtor. They are horrible to work with.

My wife and I, after 32 years of being married, finally decided to purchase our first home. After consulting many friends here in Fernley, NV., we decided to work with Joe Reisenauer from Coldwell Banker Select Real Estate. Joe guided us through the process of making the biggest purchase of our lives by being meticulous, detail orientated and thoughtful; answering every question we had with honesty. Joe worked extremely hard for us. The best thing we can say about Joe, is he CARES.

Leads are Bad!
September 26, 2016

I spent over $2K and I didn't receive one transaction. Then, when you ask to cancel they give you the run around about how important it is to respond within 5 minutes. I will never purchase leads again. I get better business with referrals. I wouldn't recommend Realtor.com to anyone.

I purchased a home from Barbera Homes in 2009. From the time I explored the purchase through the present, the site realtor Terry Jean Little and the builder, Frank Barbera have been helpful and responsive. Frank and his staff were on site throughout the construction and dealt with any issues quickly and to my satisfaction. Even to this day as questions arose over the years, Terry and Frank have been very helpful in addressing and responding. I would not hesitate to purchase another home from this company.

Just like all the other reviewers, I too was lied to and got some bum leads. I was told that I would be charged by the month and that there was no contract. Not so, because when I wanted to end it, I was then told that I was in a 6 month contract. I then went up the chain of command with my complaint, however was charged for 2 months in the end. I do not trust Realtor.com any longer.

I had been using Realtor.com to track my home's value. For the life of the home the value calculated seemed to be consistent with the approximate market value. Then, sometime in January 2019 the value calculated by Realtor.com dropped by 2/3. The price per square foot is showing as approximately 1/3 that of the comparables. When I complained (twice) online to their customer service I got no response. When I finally called, they gave me a song and dance about using industry data for which they are not responsible. Unfortunately, the fact that every other valuation site engine is showing a reasonable valuation for my home shows that this is patently false. I suspect that if I am having this problem, their data or algorithm is likely showing really bad/inaccurate results for other homes. I would not recommend using Realtor.com either as a buyer or seller.

Lies, lies, lies
June 26, 2021

This site provides fraudulent information and should not be trusted! Pretty much every house that shows to be available on theirs site was already under contract or pending, and in addition to that, they showed addresses for houses that were not the actual house for that address. Simply, they can not be trusted!

NO STARS! I wish I could give 100 negative stars! I signed up with Realtor.com 6 months ago on the advice of my then Broker. I was guaranteed 1 lead per week, it has been 6 months and I barely have received 8 crappy leads. Most of the leads I received were already working with a realtor, or they were irate for me reaching out to them because they were not looking for a realtor, "they were just curious". I been trying to cancel my account for the past week and they have been giving me the run-around saying that a different department handles that and NO ONE is available to take care of that. I am so frustrated and disgusted with REALTOR.COM

I recently put my home on the market the first day I was flooded so I called my realtor ask was that it for the today. Said yes. I heard someone rattling at the door trying to open it. I looked out it was two guys they didn't have any masks on and one had a back pack in his hand. I ask him what did he want. He said he had an appointment. So I called my realtor and ask him he said no he didn't have one today. Its was for next day. Then all of sudden he went OFF beat on my door again try to open my door. I ask what is your name through the door he said ( Fabian Silvas) I told him make another appointment, he threw his card at me and walk away. I say the client I told him he need to get another Agent he had this look on his face he was very embarrassed.
Know one should have to tolerate this kind of behavior. I told my realtor I don't want him back out here. I will be reporting him

Shawn Schwartz of Windermere Real Estate in Kennewick was really great. I was a first time home buyer and she was so helpful. She walked me through each step and explained everything. She always responded right away to all my calls and concerns.
She made home buying a good experience. I would recommend Shawn to anyone wanting to buy or sell a home.

I found a realtor through realtor.com, and she informed me of the buyers cash back program. I called and made sure that I qualified, and was assured that I would receive the cash back. After closing, I was told that I did not qualify because I clicked that I was interested in a house more than two years ago. I never got connected to an agent at that time, nor did I see that house. I got connected to my agent And started looking for a home ten months before purchase! I spoke to a manager and was told there is nothing they could do and that I was out of luck. Even worse, they took the buyers' cash back from my agent's commission. What a scam!

I was planning a move from out of state and Brandon Taylor from Keller Williams went out of his way to find homes I would be interested in, call or email info to me about the homes, and show me as many as possible while I was in town. Definitely call Brandon and he will take good care of you. Best realtor ever!

Choices vanished!
March 31, 2016

As a buyer I used to love this website and used it frequently. What happened to all the choices? I used to be able to narrow my housing choices by features that I wanted in the house. Now I can barely narrow my choices at all because the features are missing. I don't want to have to open 200 listings to find a house that has both a swimming pool and a fireplace! Please bring back the amenities option!

The sales people lie... I actually had to go so far as to cancel my card that they were using. I called my sales rep and asked if it was possible to switch zip codes. The one I signed up for was the only one that was available at the time I signed up. He told me he could switch my zip code and then I was charged for both zip codes at a rate of more than double what I had told him my budget was. When I tried to get in touch with him, he would neither return my calls or respond to my emails. He had someone else call me who told me that they don't allow you to switch zip codes, so just manage the new double payment by closing more of their leads. I asked why I wasn't told and got no answer. In the process of trying to get some attention from supervisors and in the meantime had my card cancelled to avoid further fraudulent charges. I guess I must be getting somewhere because yesterday I got ANOTHER order confirmation for another zip code I didn't order or want.

Two biggest pet peeves of the moment... I now have to deal with an ad that flashes in the middle of a picture of a home?... Also when I am trying to go to the 'next page'... at the bottom instead it is always forcing me to look at the last listing again and again by the curser being controlled this way.

I give up. Recently I was interested in purchasing in the UK and I used an excellent website called RIGHTMOVE. So easy and clear of clutter flashing all around me with ads and so much the way realtor.com used to work for many years

Terrible layout
April 6, 2016

What happened to this website? The layout used to be so clean and easy to use. It used to list a bunch of properties per page, and when you clicked on a property it showed all the relevant info about the house. Now it's huge pictures, and when you click on a house, the page is very cluttered, and it shows little information about the house.

This site is just too hard to use for searching houses.

Fraud
August 20, 2015

They lock you into a binding contract without your consent (I'm stuck for 12 months paying 400 per month), and never disclose anything. I have been trying to cancel and I get the same person every time I call. He said I need to leave the real estate field and revoke my Mls access in order to cancel. I asked to see a copy of that policy, and he said "it's not for public disclosure". SCAM SCAM SCAM!

This Company is a scam
February 17, 2017

As a Realtor I have wasted as much as $10,000 advertising with this bs company. The only leads I get are on the same listing. I have called over and over with no help. I have contacted the NAR and they won't do a thing either, but they let them use the branded Realtor name. Save your money.

Realtor.com is a SCAM
October 5, 2022

I wish I had read this before I hired them for leads. There leads do not work. I called and complaint many times and they say "just wait, if you get 1 lead it will make it for the whole year". At the beginning I was patience but not anymore. Every single lead is a scam and they say I am not allowed to cancel my subscription! I told them that I was told that I could and they said that I understood wrong! I want out of this and I want my money back. This whole issue gave me anxiety, stress and financial problems.
