I booked a trip on March 7th to Mexico to leave on April 7th, didn't buy insurance… My friends passport was sent in to be renewed on March 13th… March 25 she calls, no record of receiving your passport! PANIC MODE …drove 5 hrs spent 2 days in line ups to submit for second time… Fast forward to April 3rd … Call and still not processed…Friend Calls Manulife and they say you can add insurance up to day before. Perfect! So then I call Redtag and they tell me I'm basically hooped… Can't cancel, can't change to other people and can't change for 2 wks after April 7th …. I was sick to my stomach, $4000 gone! I had an a very patient gentleman by the name of Fedrick, after me being relentless lol, 2.5 hrs later I was offered a one time deal! Change tickets to April 21st ( my 2 wk option I had suggested at beginning}lmao… I was charged $100 per person to change and the difference in tickets, total of $720… moral of this please BUY insurance, make sure all passports are current before booking!… I want to send koodos to Fedrick Das you were amazing for being so polite and working with me!
I want to share my terrible experience with an Air Canada vacation package which i booked from redtag. I booked an all-inclusive package from Montreal to Cancun, but upon arrival, the service was disorganized and chaotic. I had to track down my shuttle from the airport to the resort and back, with no instructions provided. The contact person I had, Doris, was unresponsive to my calls and emails. When I finally reached her about my return shuttle, she instructed me to go to the facility desk at 8:50. However, when I arrived at 8:40, there was no one from Air Canada there, and the hotel staff asked me to wait outside. Eventually, when Doris arrived, I learned the shuttle had already left. After repeated calls to her with no response, I sought help from the hotel bell staff, who suggested I wait for another shuttle, but it would cost $60. When the shuttle arrived, I discovered it was also from Air Canada, but the driver refused to take us without the extra fee. After some negotiation, we agreed on $50, only to find the shuttle was nearly empty. This experience felt fraudulent, and despite following all the necessary steps, I was met with indifference. I'm extremely disappointed with Air Canada's service.
I booked a hotel that stated fully refundable. I had a family emergency and had to cancel the hotel, and they charged me a site administration fee of 120.00.

While Redtag seems to offer decent prices and enticing photos, their fine print and staff apathy are appalling. I booked a vacation with Priya Sribavan in January, paid for everything including upgrades up front. Due to COVID-19 the trip had been cancelled. I didn't get a notification from them, I had to reach out to find out. They also informed me that I'll be issued a credit valid for 20 months. Calling Priya did nothing - she refused to even discuss the issue, hiding behind her company policy and telling me to buy better insurance next time. She didn't try reach out to the tour operator, didn't try to figure out any other options or even be empathetic, her response was simply "there's nothing I can do". This was the first and last time booking with Redtag. I will actively discourage everyone I know from getting involved with this despicable company and Priya in particular. Her lack of support and blatant disregard for common courtesy was mind boggling. I have never dealt with a more callous human being.
Our trip lasted for two weeks at Costa Morena. We been on trip to Cuba multiple times, and never came across with such disrespectful staff members from our resort. We had no beverage, no food, no drink water, lunches were always over within 1 hour of service, (shortage of food, lack of options). We came a cross that staff were washing and reusing one time cups. Beach was dirty all the time, including no Beach towels. We had terrible odor coming out of our beds, staff even told us to clean and wash our own sheets. Always demanded money in order to request something. We were promised 3 different Bars, but each time we were sent to different Bars and each time were refused to give service, we even had have given out tips, because expected to get some sort of experience, but never even gotten anything even if with a decent tip. Internet never worked right, even when purchasing multiple cards, resort had almost nothing to offer, for the money we spent.
Cash markets were closed almost each time we wanted exchange cash, we had the feeling that we weren't welcome within resort, our Christmas and New year experience was just frustrating.
We were so excited to book a cash ticket flight through redtag.ca that coincided with my airmiles ticket. This morning we saw an email sent yesterday afternoon to my husband indicating that I needed to send an email and my phone number to confirm the use of my credit card. I did so early this morning, and then followed up with redtag to ensure that they received the email and to confirm my husbands ticket. It came as a shock, when the agent told me that his booking was cancelled because we did not reply to the ticket before midnight. Even if we had seen the email yesterday afternoon, there was no text on the email anywhere to indicate that we needed to respond before midnight, so that the ticket would not be cancelled. The agent did not try to help in anyway and simply suggested I go back to the website and rebook the ticket. When I did so, the ticket prices jumped more than two hundred dollars. When I mentioned this fact, the agent returned over and over again to the fact that we needed to reply to the email before midnight. Again, there was no information on the email from your company to indicate that the reply needed to occur before midnight and that the booking would be cancelled. Dealing with REDTAG.CA has been a nightmare. Book your cash tickets directly through Airmiles or through WestJet.
I have booked with red tag in the past and had no issues. This time, I had a trip to Mississauga and red tag advertised a beautiful condo with Pathway suites. I cancelled my Marriott room As the advertisement made it sound like luxury and the pictures were amazing. I cryed when I walked in, I got scammed! I had saved up to take my kids on a get away and got burned so bad! It was awful and cost me 210.00 a night. Old cottage style bedding, hard old stained mattresses, ripped floors, damaged walls, broken front door lock and the list goes on. I was with my two kids and had no security as they stick us in a condo in a construction zone in the middle of no where! Parkade fob broken, construction at 655 am next door each morning! The guy said no refunds and we were stuck not sleeping for 4 days! No reply from Red tag after sending an email and 640.00 dollars down the drain! Disgusted! Red tag and pathway suites, you should be disguisted to rip customers off like this! Horrible. Go with your gut and book reputable hotels always, I have learned a hard lesson!
Sell you one thing, and provide you something else...then blame the flight company (in this case air canada. Never again

Please be aware when u are booking with them i booked my trip to cancun mexico and I choosed 2 room with THEM AND when i got booking confirmation it was only 1 room in reservation this was so surprising movement and we booked again from pricline again we spent $800 this was my personal expreience please do not book with them

Purchased from redtag.ca on December 24 2021 as a Christmas gift: Destination: Niagara Falls (YYZ) Departure Date: Thu. December 30,2021 Return Date: Sun. January 2,2022 Duration: 3 Nights Paid in full: $1259. 94 CAD Cancellation Policy: - Free cancellation up until Dec 29,2021. - Cancelling between Dec 29,2021 and Dec 31,2021 incurs a penalty of $267.04 CAD. Contacted red tag via phone multiple times prior to December 28 with hours of being on hold and nobody ever answering. Sent several emails beginning December 28 requesting a refund as per cancellation policy.
No response was given to date despite continuous attempts of a resolution. IT HAS BEEN MONTHS AND NO RESOLUTION All I am told is that they do not refund via email and will get back to me with a response on whether other hotel will compensate me to some of extent (I PURCHASED FROM REDTAG.CA AND WAS NOT ABLE TO GET ANYONE TO ANSWER ANY OF MY MULTIPLE CALLS REQUESTING FOR CANCELATION) This is ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable! I just lost over $1200
I would advise against booking with Redtag as I have just started my vacation from hell. In October I booked a DIRECT flight from Ottawa to CAYO COCO. On November 27th I received my itinerary. My itinerary said leaving at 9 am with a stop in Dominican Republic. This has now become a nightmare and a 7 hour flight and also 1 day less on my 7 day vacation that I paid full price for. When I called red tag on this matter I was told to call sunwing which in return told me to call redtag. I have asked on several occasions for a refund so I can rebook my vacation which is December 12th. I have had nothing but trouble and negative responses from Redtag. Then today they called and told me it was MY problem because I booked myself on their WEBSITE. Like I told them if it was my website I certainly wouldn't treat people like they do. When we book on these sites we don't argue about the price or do we call them and tell them we'll pay later. We pay for our holidays and we should get what we pay for NOT what they want to give us. I refuse to accept these changes and only found out about them the day I received my itinerary. Sunwing and Redtag suck.

Continue to follow up with Red Tag for your refund
After Government provided the "Bail Out" to Air Transat we completed the Refund Request form on May 12,2021. After monthly call ups to Red Tag and to Air Transat... when they answered the phone. We are still waiting on our refund of $4,316.00.
My last phone call to Red Tag (the representative) that booked our trip in August 2019 we were advised that Red Tag would be handing our refund. We were advised that they are totally backlogged with the reimbursements. Red Tag has no idea when we can expect our refund.
We were asked to provide bank statements which we sent to Red Tag and to Air Transat. Still no refund.
I have reached out to our member of Parliament and enquired if any conditions were attached to the "Bail Out" and the timeline to refund travellers.
At this point we are so frustrated by the lack of effort on Red Tag and Air Transat. They received the billion dollar bail out. They will make a lot of interest on that money and yet "drag their feet" in the reimbursement process.
Shame, Shame, Shame on Red Tag and Air Transat... We will never use their services again.

Don't book with redtag. I've been on hold for 3 hours and no one answered. Terrible customer service.
They just sell the tickets but good luck if you need to contact them, they never answer the phon. I was on the phone for 8 hours a day but no luck
I don't have a reservation number because your website didn't book my actual vacation. That's the whole point. When I clicked "book" on the website, yoru website returned a random error message. And no, it was not due to my credit card. My credit card was charged 4,630.00 just fine.
What's absolutely worse: the fact that the vacation is due to leave on Jan 8th, 2023. The problem with this whole thing is that you rejected my vacation, but statement hold still applies to my credit card.
This means that until Sunwing releases the statement credit (which could take 2 weeks), I don't have enough credit limit to book another vacation.
You guessed it - I won't be able to book my vacation until Dec 25th, potentially. This means that I have to book 1-2 weeks in advance of a popular time to go to the Caribbean. In fact, we already lost out on our first choice.
In case you can't tell, you guys royally $#*!ed me over. I paid for the $#*!ing vacation and your website just out of nowhere said NOPE.
I called your service desk, and your agent was beyond useless. He was rude, unempathetic and said "We can't help you. You need to wait for the refund to process in 2-3 weeks". I called the bank. They said it was on Sunwing's side. Finally, I called Sunwing and they said, there is nothing they can do.
I received conflicting information, poor service and most importantly, no offer for a resolution. The card is charged. You should have just offered to book me another vacation but you guys are callous, uncaring and just continued to $#*! over an innocent customer.
From the absolute bottom of my heart, $#*! you. I can't wait to take this to the BBB and cause you the pain you caused me.

Compramos en Red Tag un paquete al Kristal Grad Hotel San Jose del Cabo es una pesadilla, terrible experiencia con todo incluido, arruinó mi luna de miel de $ 1500 CND por persona.
No puedo aconsejar lo suficiente a la gente que no se quede en este hotel, hay muchas razones por ello.
El hotel está lleno todo el tiempo, las instalaciones son demasiado pequeñas para la cantidad de personas que reservan. Por lo tanto, debe hacer fila para todo, las bebidas y la comida. Las colas son muy largas para lo básico, no hay suficientes piscinas ni nada que hacer realmente. No se puede nadar en el océano y no hay playas cercanas para ir.
Parece que a la administración solo le importa que la gente entre y salga lo más rápido posible para ganar dinero rápido. Las habitaciones están sucias y en mal estado.
El personal es lo suficientemente amable, pero generalmente está de mal humor y con una actitud terrible, lo cual puedo entender, ya que no obtienen suficientes recursos del hotel para satisfacer a tantas personas.
Además, este hotel se dirige principalmente a turistas nacionales, no extranjeros, había un 95 por ciento de huéspedes mexicanos mientras estuvimos allí. Parece que tienen gente organizando grupos de familias mexicanas de todo el país pagando precios baratos, por lo que tienen que darte comida y bebidas baratas y en cantidades muy limitadas.
En general, nuestra experiencia fue terrible y recomendaré a todos los turistas nacionales e internacionales que busquen una mejor opción. Hablé con otros huéspedes y todos estaban extremadamente descontentos con la comida, el servicio y el alojamiento.
Básicamente, salimos del hotel y buscamos cosas que hacer y un restaurante donde comer bien sin estar en línea o pelear por la comida con el otro huésped.
Viajo con todo incluido a Cuba y fue una experiencia mucho mejor en todos los aspectos, incluso cuando ellos tiene acceso a menos recursos.
