I placed three separate orders here, two for hard to get Ecuadorian hermit crabs, and one for a three-striped mud turtle. Each time, the hermit crabs ran out of their container (insulated, humid, and with damp moss) an had natural shells. The turtle was groggy, but woke up and was swimming happily within 20 minutes. Thank you! Will buy again when I have more space!
Do not order from this company. They will take your money the very next day but won't return your emails. After 4 attempts to contact them via email were unsuccessful I tried to call them. Every single number was disconnected!
I've bought two spiders from these guys. The quality and health of every spider shipped is perfect. The customer service is fantastic and they always responded to my response to e-mails I sent within 24 hours. This is the best reptile and invertibrate website I have ordered from.

Purchased a Rankins dragon and was pleasantly surprised with the dedication and persistence to find me the best choice. Great service and kept me informed through the whole process. With any reptile purchase availability is sometimes limited. Felton from reptile City was great in helping find exactly what I wanted.
I had ordered 1 baby corn snake and 2 salamanders. The USPS box had no holes or even a label stating to handle with care. The corn snake seemed okay, very skittish to get out of the little container with no air holes. The 2 salamanders were both dead, had contacted the company and their response proves how they don't care about the animals, it's just about the money.
Month after ordering, I still dont have the animals nor a refund. Terrible communication and even worse customer service, refusing to take calls or email or even text back. Dont waste your time. I have to go through my bank now to get my money back and filed report against them with authorities

3 months now. Been waiting on my animals spent over 200$, and i call almost everyday, they answer, they tell me they are gonna get it done. Still haven't, i got my turtles the first time. All 6,1 died during shipping and i got a refund. Now. I Havent gotten $#*!. And they offered me a job since im a stay at home mom, and take care or my kids and raise all sorts of reptiles. Getting aggravated that i spent that much and still haven't gotten anything. Use to not be a scam. They said the only thing they didn't have was the turtles i said don't worry about it, because it was only 10$ but i wanted my anoles, frogs, water dragon, and i ordered several iguanas... Dont waste your time! Or money!

We have made 3 purchases from Reptile City. There was a billing err on the first purchase but it was dealt with. On the 3rd purchase we received a dead chameleon, & one that was blind with an eye injury.
When we reported the problems, Felton was less than professional. When I complained about his lack of customer service but defensively he perceived that to be whining. He was quick to refund my money, but he is well less than a professional businessman. Quite a sad case.
This company is absolutely amazing. Super fast delivery and all of my reptiles came and healthy condition. The text alerts and emails were absolutely fabulous. The company really went out of their way to make sure that I as a customer was satisfied. I would recommend anyone to use this company to purchase healthy reptiles from.
Love ordering my reptiles from Reptile City. They have a wide variety of reptiles amphibians, invertebrates and pretty much anything you need to house your new family member. The prices are very reasonable. The ordering process is very easy and they are prompt with keeping you updated on the shipping process. Ordered a smooth headed caiman this time. He arrived early and very much alive. Excited to add him to the family. Definitely a forever customer.
Baby Paraguayan Red Tegu arrived in perfect health, he had all his toes, very docil straight out of the container. I put him in his new enclosure and he was very active! Customer service contacted me before they shipped him out because temperatures were going to be to high and they discussed all the options with me. Shortly after picking him up from the local UPS store I got an email asking he he had arrived.
Order a snake and a scorpion. Both had arrived very quickly, the snake came very healthy and vibrant, the scorpion had some iffy spots but there team was quickly on it when I mentioned it. Reptile City makes a point to call when the order has been delivered to check up. Only place I've done business at who does this. 5 stars all day.
I was charged in jan and then again in april for my original purchase. When i called them, the man on the phone said "our computers are down at the moment". I just had my bank fight the duplicate charge for me. It was a hassle and i wont buy from there again.
I place my order and clicked the 30 free shipping but they neglected to prep, package, and ship my order in the 30 day window. When the 30 days were up I called concerning my order and they told me it would be shipped that day or the next. 2 days later after not receiving my email regarding the shipment of my reptile I called and asked about it, they had them told me we don't have your lizard anymore and are waiting for new ones. They failed to notify me about my order and were past due to ship my order but didn't have my order at all but did have the lizard in stock when I had placed my original order just over a month prior. Never going to order from them again because they cannot uphold the standards they have set.

Just received my leopard gecko and pacman frog today both were active and in good health when I unpacked them and both are now in their enclosures picking out their spots. Very happy both animals were in great health when I received them. I will definitely be doing business with this company again in the near future and recommend them to anyone looking for a reptile or amphibian, great selection and great prices
Super Rude and Super unprofessional. I called them numerous times inquiring about my order that was not delivered. I was promise that owner Felton would call me back. Felton never called back. When I called back days a latter a guy names Marcus hung up on me. I finally got my money back after numerous calls and emails. The owner Felton was rude and acted like he was so busy that my order was an inconvenience. Kept telling me how many 100's of orders they have and that they have. When I finally cancelled Felton email " Gladly! " Super Rude people.
ReptileCity stayed in touch with me from the time I placed my order till after my animals were delivered. My red eye tree frog and day gecko arrived alive and appear to be healthy. They are both captive bred so I don't anticipate any parasite problems. Thanks for providing a shipping date of my choice. My mind was at ease knowing the status of my shipment every step of the way. Red eye tree frog and day gecko
I wanted to give my experience that just happened an hour ago. I ordered buy one get one free three inch captive bred Whites tree frogs.The owner claimed they would be here today overnight shipping. USPS said the 29th so I of course assumed the worst. Well the owner unexpectedly called me this morning assuring me they would be here. Right at 9am they were delivered express. Three inch long and perfect. One even has some snowflakes. They were in nice deli cups with slightly damp paper towel and extremely well wrapped in newspapers that were warm through with heat packs. Insulated box labeled this side up and live harmless animal. They were so perky they hopped their cups over lol. I cant speak for others but great specimens, great packaging and communication. I had removed the paper towel for a quick pic and they are climbing all over the quarantine tank currently. Very pleased!
I'm sickened to think of how these people are treating their animals. The customer service was horrific and the bearded dragon was sick. I have been trying to nurse it back to health since we recieved it 3 weeks ago. (Shipped with no live animal sticker!) I thought it was turning around, but the sweet beardie died yesterday. My son is devastated. I just hope that he felt loved here since he obviously came from terrible conditions. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Just Received my order for 3 Tokay Geckos. The service was fantastic! Almost 10 phone calls back and forth and 3 txt messages. Got an additional call the day before shipping when the weather spiked and they arranged for it to go to the UPS care center, OR to delay the shipment till it cools off. All 3 arrived in good condition, they are field collected so i know there is a risk, but UR clearly did their best. Properly packed with a cooling pack! Outright theft. I ordered 2 months ago. Still yet to recieve my order. Called them and this rude impatient man said to wait. No sir i am tired of waiting and getting nothing. Do not reccomend there business..

I purchased 3 reptiles. They sent 2 then the guy says if you buy more I will ship your previous I forgot to ship. I say ok and by to 520 more buck. 145 from previous order as well. Never would send any reptilles excuses he or his speed head wife have health issues. The weathers too hot or cold. They sent my tortise in 45 degree weather no heat pack. Its a pure scam. Backwater reptiles ships 3 days from Cali. Save your money.
Everything went so well the first time that I ordered again. I had personal attention to exactly what I needed and wanted. The reptiles (lizards) came in great condition and they began eating almost immediately. I ordered a male and female and that is what I got. They get along so well it is amazing. I will go nowhere else for reptiles.
This was my first online reptile order. Reptile City and Felton Willis were extremely responsive to any concerns and questions I had. And when my box turtle arrived I could not have been happier. He was in great shape and an absolutely beautiful specimen. I was so happy with him that I immediately made a second order for another turtle. My second one just arrived and she is absolutely beautiful too and in great shape. I would not hesitate to order from Reptile City again and I plan to do so again in the future. Thank you again!
I ordered a hermit crab for my class and it arrived dead. After requesting another one, they said they'd send one but it never came. I continued to inquire via email over several weeks checking in about the replacement and they kept saying they were sending it, but still I got nothing. Finally two months later I sent an email stating my displeasure and someone called me and was EXTREMELY RUDE. He basically blamed me for not calling them more. What?!?! So rude! Didn't even apologize or offer a solution. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
