I placed three separate orders here, two for hard to get Ecuadorian hermit crabs, and one for a three-striped mud turtle. Each time, the hermit crabs ran out of their container (insulated, humid, and with damp moss) an had natural shells. The turtle was groggy, but woke up and was swimming happily within 20 minutes. Thank you! Will buy again when I have more space!
Do not order from this company. They will take your money the very next day but won't return your emails. After 4 attempts to contact them via email were unsuccessful I tried to call them. Every single number was disconnected!
I ordered a white California king snake valued at $129.99 on November 27th, the snake arrived dead. I contacted Reptile City, they requested a picture. I sent a picture to them. It took weeks and many phone calls to finally receive a replacement snake. The replacent snake was a regular black California king snake which is only valued at $69.99. We contacted Reptile city and complained that we received a snake that was not the same type we originally purchased and it was only valued at $69.99. We paid $129.99 for a totally different snake. They said we would be refunded $60.00. We never received any refund. I reported him to Paypal and have an open claim against him. I also reported him to the Better Business Bureau where he is an F rating!
Dear Reptile City, I would like to say thank you for my recent order, (two iguanas), I have received them, they are very healthy and active I am very pleased with my two new friends, looking forward to doing business with you in the future. Very interested in purchasing a pair of Nile Monitors when you have some in stock.
Thank you, Gary Vitalie
I live in Tulsa city and made an online order for a baby red agentine tegu. Great service tegu was very healthy and has a great temperament. These people really care about there animals. I received a call from them the same day asking if i received the animal and if it was healthy. Definitely recommend them.
I ordered 2 red-spotted newts, 2 gray tree frogs, and 2 leopard frogs. I first received the newts and tree frogs and they were in acceptable condition but the package said nowhere, live animals, fagile... nothing! Thankfully they arrived safe. The leopard frogs were missing so I called to inquire. The guy was lacking in his social graces but informed me that the leopard frogs would ship next week and hung up as I was attempting to extend my thanks for the information. A week later I received the leopard frogs, they were thin and one looked like it had half of it's one hind foot chopped off but whatever I knew I could bring them back from that. My main issue was not only was it 2 day shipping but the frogs were in a dry cardboard box with some crumpled up newspaper... Are you kidding me! These morans don't know that frogs need to have moisture, luckily they weren't dead! I feel guilty for ordering from these ignorant jerks... at least I can give these poor creatures a second chance.
I ordered a turtle from them months ago. I called almost every day and very Rudley all he would say "it all depends on the turtle. They will be shipped next week" they kept telling me "next week" every time I called. I tired of waiting and called them and told them I just wanted a refund. Rudly he said "okay. Hang up and email." Then he ended the call. He never says buy or anything professionals should. After I emailed them they emailed me back and said "Yep. " never heard from them after. I check my balance in my bank account and about 3 weeks later they finally give me my refund. Never Oder from these people.
Ordered an eastern newt March 26th with 30 day shipping. I asked for a refund April 26th because I knew I wasnt going to be getting anything based on other reviews stating they havent got their newts despite ordering in December. Still waiting on a refund. Also it seems like so many reviews are fake. Some call the store a completely different name and talk about an actual store location (which im pretty positive doesnt exist) and talk about getting items that arent even on the website (I could only find live animals and live food not lightbulbs and cage items) Pretty upsetting when youre waiting for an animal that will never arrive. And perhaps youre lucky (hah) and the animal you want is in stock but you still get it later than expected and they seem to have poor shipping methods. I decided to just order some newts off of ebay. Got three for the price I paid on reptilecity and they shipped yesterday with a tracking number.
According to 1Ki 6:1 (see note there), the exodus took place 480 years before "the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel." Since that year was c. 966 b. C., it has been traditionally held that the exodus occurred c. 1446. The "three hundred years" of Jdg 11:26 fits comfortably within this time span (see Introduction to Judges: Background). In addition, although Egyptian chronology relating to the 18th dynasty remains somewhat uncertain, some recent research tends to support the traditional view that two of this dynasty's pharaohs, Thutmose III and his son Amunhotep II, were the pharaohs of the oppression and the exodus respectively (see notes on 2:15,23; 3:10).
On the other hand, the appearance of the name Rameses in 1:11 has led many to the conclusion that the 19th-dynasty pharaoh Seti I and his son Rameses II were the pharaohs of the oppression and the exodus respectively. Furthermore, archaeological evidence of the destruction of numerous Canaanite cities in the 13th century b. C. has been interpreted as proof that Joshua's troops invaded the promised land in that century. These and similar lines of argument lead to a date for the exodus of c. 1290 (see Introduction to Joshua: Historical Setting).
The identity of the cities' attackers, however, cannot be positively ascertained. The raids may have been initiated by later Israelite armies, or by Philistines or other outsiders. In addition, the archaeological evidence itself has become increasingly ambiguous, and recent evaluations have tended to redate some of it to the 18th dynasty. Also, the name Rameses in 1:11 could very well be the result of an editorial updating by someone who lived centuries after Moses -- a procedure that probably accounts for the appearance of the same word in Ge 47:11 (see note there).
In short, there are no compelling reasons to modify in any substantial way the traditional 1446 b. C. date for the exodus of the Israelites from Egyptian bondage.

It is not necessary, however, to claim that Numbers came from Moses' hand complete and in final form. Portions of the book were probably added by scribes or editors from later periods of Israel's history. For example, the protestation of the humility of Moses (12:3) would hardly be convincing if it came from his own mouth. But it seems reasonable to assume that Moses wrote the essential content of the book.
Contents
Numbers relates the story of Israel's journey from Mount Sinai to the plains of Moab on the border of Canaan. Much of its legislation for people and priests is similar to that in Exodus, Leviticus and Deuteronomy. The book tells of the murmuring and rebellion of God's people and of their subsequent judgment. Those whom God had redeemed from slavery in Egypt and with whom he had made a covenant at Mount Sinai responded not with faith, gratitude and obedience but with unbelief, ingratitude and repeated acts of rebellion, which came to extreme expression in their refusal to undertake the conquest of Canaan (ch. 14). The community of the redeemed forfeited their part in the promised land. They were condemned to live out their lives in the desert; only their children would enjoy the fulfillment of the promise that had originally been theirs (cf. Heb 3:7 -- 4:11).
Theological Teaching
In telling the story of Israel's desert wanderings, Numbers offers much that is theologically significant. During the first year after Israel's deliverance from Egypt, the nation entered into covenant with the Lord at Sinai to be the people of his kingdom, among whom he pitched his royal tent (the tabernacle) -- this is the story of Exodus. As the account of Numbers begins, the Lord organizes Israel into a military camp. Leaving Sinai, they march forth as his conquering army, with the Lord at the head, to establish his kingdom in the promised land in the midst of the nations. The book graphically portrays Israel's identity as the Lord's redeemed covenant people and its vocation as the servant people of God, charged with establishing his kingdom on earth. God's purpose in history is implicitly disclosed: to invade the arena of fallen humanity and effect the redemption of his creation -- the mission in which his people are also to be totally engaged.
Numbers also presents the chastening wrath of God against his disobedient people. Because of their rebellion (and especially the nation's refusal to undertake the conquest of Canaan), Israel was in breach of covenant. The fourth book of the Pentateuch presents a sobering reality: The God who had entered into covenant with Abraham (Ge 15; 17), who had delivered his people from bondage in the exodus (Ex 14-15), who had brought Israel into covenant with himself as his "treasured possession" (Ex 19; see especially Ex 19:5) and who had revealed his holiness and the gracious means of approaching him(Lev 1-7) was also a God of wrath. His wrath extended to his errant children as well as to the enemy nations of Egypt and Canaan.
Even Moses, the great prophet and servant of the Lord, was not exempt from God's wrath when he disobeyed God. Ch. 20, which records his error, begins with the notice of Miriam's death (20:1) and concludes with the record of Aaron's death (20:22-29). Here is the passing of the old guard. Those whom God has used to establish the nation are dying before the nation has come into its own.
The questions arise: Is God finished with the nation as a whole (cf. Ro 11:1)? Are his promises a thing of the past? In one of the most remarkable sections of the Bible -- the account of Balaam, the pagan diviner (chs. 22 - 24) -- the reply is given. The Lord, working in a providential and direct way, proclaims his continued faithfulness to his purpose for his people despite their unfaithfulness to him.
Balaam is Moab's answer to Moses, the man of God. He is an internationally known prophet who shares the pagan belief that the God of Israel is like any other deity who might be manipulated by acts of magic or sorcery. But from the early part of the narrative, when Balaam first encounters the one true God in visions, and in the narrative of the journey on the donkey (ch. 22), he begins to learn that dealing with the true God is fundamentally different from anything he has ever known. When he attempts to curse Israel at the instigation of Balak king of Moab, Balaam finds his mouth unable to express the curse he desires to pronounce. Instead, from his lips come blessings on Israel and curses on its enemies (chs. 23 - 24).
Just received an aquatic salamander for my almost 10 yr old daughter from Santa via UPS. S/he is as adorable as expected and appears active and healthy. Hopefully we have done adequate research and preparation for our new pet. Due to an epic momfail, I wasn't home to sign for the package (that I arranged) this afternoon. ReptilesCity was extremely accommodating and helpful bu getting UPS to hold our box at the local processing center (WV) for me to pick up. Looking forward to the care of our salamander. If my husband didn't ban any additional pets, I'd absolutely use this business again!
Got my second tegu, a red, from them on Tuesday and he arrived active and healthy. I couldn't have been more satisfied. They called me before he shipped and then again yesterday to make sure everything was ok with him. They're killing me knowing that those ice tegus will be hatching soon, and now I'm gonna have to figure out how I can convince my wife why I need a 3rd tegu. I'll definitely buy again.
Ok I ordered two ball pythons with 1-4 day shipping I called the 4th day to at least get a tracking number to check on the progress. They was very rude didn't seem like they wanted to talk. And on the website it says it has to be at your doorstep the 4th day. Well it's Day 4 and they haven't sent them to be shipped yet. Will never do buissness with them again. From now on will be ordering from BHB reptiles!
Not the most personable fellow to deal with, I ordered 4 frogs, and 1 chameleon. One frog was doa and he offered to refund it, then one died the next morning, and he pointed out that he does not refund on any amphibians after the arrival date, so i lost that one and another one 2 days later. So i ended up with one live frog out of the 4 he sold me. And only refunded 1 frog. He is bbad news and i would suggest not dealing with him
I ordered a yellow bearded dragon at the end of February 2021 paid 49.99 for expedited order an 250.00 for bearded dragon! Never delivered an callsd an canceled order # ******* an requested a refund because they didnt meet what i paid for! So after 5 months numerous phone calls an emails an same thing an exscuses every time! An broke my daughters heart because it was her bday gift that she never received! I just want my 300 dollars refunded this is ridiculous an theft an should be prosecuted for what they did to me an hundreds more now!
So. I ordered a pacman frog from them. I get the notification it has shipped. And then I see in the same email when I click on the tracking that it has got here. They didn't tell me that it was actually shipped 3 days before it got here (which they're always supposed to do over night shipping for animals). And it says in the fine print that they cover amphibians in their warranty for three days... then go on to say that they don't cover frogs alrighty then. And then the worst part! There are NO live stickers or anything like that on there. No fragile. No live. No nothing. I get the box and the frog is in a small plastic container with a little sphagnum moss that is wet but the small container is packed in shredded paper which is in a box. I talked to the mail man and he didn't even know there was something alive in there.
I'm sorry reptilecity, but not impressed. Will not be purchasing from you again.
I bought 4 tortoise off them. They would not ship them, email me or call me. I called them every day. They said today every day I called. After it was PAST due to be mailed, I got up set and told them I did not like how all this was going. So with out telling me or emailing me they just STOPED me order. Not a word. So then the calls started from me about my 300 they did not return. I had to tell them I was filling with BBB (I was really going to do). Any way after WEEKS of just messed up stuff I would not recommend them to any one. In the mix of all this I went to underground reptiles. Got my new tortoise order and delivered, before I got my money back from reptile city.
First off the guy was a complete jerk off. Argued with him several times. He gave me a wrong order and said "atleast youre getting a really good deal the best around" He sold me NEWBORNS instead of adults that I ordered for and said it was my fault and wasnt going to do nothing about it. On top of that; the other reptiles were in terrible condition died the very next day it took 4 weeks from the time I placed my order for them to come and I had to harass him to send it out because he kept forgetting and saying "we dont have all the reptiles yet so you have to wait unless you want it without the lizards" Never order from this company save your money the animals will die days after or arrive dead and he wont compromise you.
Received a healthy, fat, lively clubtail Iguana yesterday. Very happy with my experience with reptile city, the owner, and their customer service personnel. I was nervous about not having everything just right for my Clubtail when it arrived but the gentleman I talked to was able to tell me exactly what I needed for it. I also got two Atlanta hermit crabs that are the most active crabs I have ever had. When I am ready to apdpd a0nother reptile to my collection I will be purchasing from them for sure. I was reluctant about their shipping methods but I learned they actually drop pet off at local post office to arrive THAT SAME DAY!
These people are thieves they will steal your money not your animal they send that but they steal the extra you pay for the time it will take to get to you I would see if I could and if you ask for a refund you will never see your money so if you'd be able to wait at least 2 months I even if you payed extra they will always be crooks
I ordered two Tokay Geckos on Oct. 30th 2020. I never received them and asked for a refund on my credit card-it is March 10th 2021 and I still have not received a refund. Avoid Reptile City at all cost! I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!
Tip for consumers:
Avoid these people!

Never got geckos!
I ordered baby turtles plenty of baby turtle food and a heating rock with the 30 day option well they processed and shipped my order withen a week awesome right? Well... i never got my confirmation saying my order shipped i called they told me it shipped that day and then sent me the email come to find out it was actually shipped 2 days before hand by usps live animals by regular mail? Wow ok so anyways i get the package the next day and the turtles are alive but dried out and the rest of my order is missing needless to say i got ripped off big time least i got the turtles and felton willis tracking doesnt lie why say my order want shipped by you youre a fraud and pathetic
If I could give them no stars I would. Worst company, worst customer service. Will not answer emails or answer the phone at all! Save your money and go somewhere else! SHAME!
I am really happy with my order, i made my purchase despite negative comments, but tbh my order came in before its scheduled date. My scorpions were very happy and healthy very active. They pack up my scorps perfectly. I love you guys and will definitely be back for more. Will also recommend reptile city to anyone looking for happy healthy pets. The best idk what else to say except that im supperr happy. Thank u reptile city.
I requested some pictures for the Pastel Red Slider Turtles (c. B. babies) because I wanted to choose the one I wanted to buy.
Mr. Felton Willis the guy who promise me pictures of the pastel red slider turtles never responded me after my request.
The reptile city customer service is really bad!
I would never buy from reptile city...
Instead I will buy from http://www.theturtlesource.com or http://www.myturtlestore.com

Corn Snake Question
Hello! I ordered a corn snake a few weeks ago and it came in last Friday in perfect condition: lively, healthy, and colorful. I was just wondering how old he was when he arrived and if he had shed before shipping or not. If so, how many times?
Thank you so much!

Perfect Iguanas
Both of the lizards are here and in perfect condition. The one looks a little darker than the other, but I'm not sure if it's from stress or if that's just how he/she was, there was also no signs of aggression. Not to sure on which one is the male yet but but thank you again for the beautiful animals. If I need to make any type of reptile purchase I'll be sure to get through you.

Re: HaHa Reptiles Order 5801
I would like to say thank you Felton. The turtles came in alive and look healthy. I'm just concerned about two of them. They're eyes are swollen and are moving slow. They don't look like they'll make it but I'll try my best. How does the gaurentee work? In the worst case scenario, and they do end up not making it. Could I just receive credit on my next order? Please advise. Anyways thank you and look forward to making another soon!
Thank you so much,

RE: Reptile City Order 64531
The salamander babies did arrive today, a bit after noon, and the delivery man said he knew the pkg was “perishable” but didn’t realize it was ALIVE. He was kind of carrying it haphazardly! Made me nervous. But the little guys are alive and happy to be first in their water dish and now exploring their tank. Thank you for picking out such gorgeous fellows! One question that I forgot to ask was, what have you been feeding them? I feed our big guys large size crickets, but I don’t turn the crickets loose, as they are lousy at catching them. I feed them on tongs. Is this what you do, small crickets... or are they eating meal worms at this age. Or what? I would appreciate the information! Thanks, again, Felton! Jeanne

Mr Willis, thank you for sending the baby Greek tortoise so quickly. FedEx delivered him Friday morning. The packing looked good and the tortoise started walking very soon after he was unpacked. He's been eating a little, but his favorite thing is digging down into the substrate until he's completely buried and sleeping. My granddaughter and I are going to enjoy him a lot. Again, thank you.

Hey Mr. Willis I just wanted to let you know I received my order of 1000 super worms and the almost 3 foot blackthroat monitor I got from you the other day has been slamming them. He is a great eater and I love him. He is awesome. He is like 30 inches long and I was wondering if you have any idea how old he is? Reptile City Order 63894
Thank you Mr. Willis for delivering the pet scorpion healthy and alive in a manner that was both convenient and safe. My desert hairy is both active in body and appetite. Excellent communication made receiving my package easy and picking it up at the office was so much more convenient for any working person to mange over any other method by which one might take possession of there package. When I first contacted you I recall feeling that you were a bit gruff or curt. However this should not disaude people from doing business with your company. Because the live pet sitting in my terrarium is proof positive you get the job done. Best Regards, Brett from Michigan

Thanks for the quick shipping. We received the turtles today. We got your email in the morning and had been waiting for a package to show up on the porch. They are adorable. They seem to be doing OK, both are alive but not very active. We added them into the aquarium with the basking light and gave them some ReptoMin. Thanks!

RE: Reptile City Order 62474
Chameleon arrived in good shape today. He's not drinking yet, but he is eating. I was not able to catch the shipment at the dist. Center. Thanks for suggesting it, though. My son has been working on a set up for months, growing plants, and gathering all the paraphenalia needed to care for this reptile. He's been reading up on how to reduce stress in chams, etc. So getting one that died in shipping was particularly sad.
Thank you for getting us another critter at your greater expense.

Mr Willis and reptile city team,
I received my creamsicle corn snake and it looks healthy, and really active and curious. Very easy to order, and received it the very next day after my order was processed. The team was also really helpful in explaining any questions I had. I would highly recommend reptile city and I look forward to doing business again with you in the near future. (5 stars)
Thanks a lot!

I ordered a baby basilisk with free shipping within 30 days of purchase. SIX WEEKS LATER, still No lizard, no communication, no shipping notification. Nothing. I emailed then and got no response for almost a week, then got a text saying he'd check the status. No communication for 5 days. I texted and asked for a status, he said " will ship Monday".
