I placed three separate orders here, two for hard to get Ecuadorian hermit crabs, and one for a three-striped mud turtle. Each time, the hermit crabs ran out of their container (insulated, humid, and with damp moss) an had natural shells. The turtle was groggy, but woke up and was swimming happily within 20 minutes. Thank you! Will buy again when I have more space!
Do not order from this company. They will take your money the very next day but won't return your emails. After 4 attempts to contact them via email were unsuccessful I tried to call them. Every single number was disconnected!
I made the mistake of ordering multiple animals and never got my snake. I finally gave up, hearing 'we don't have corn snakes right now' Order one item, if you do not receive it, cancel your credit charges, I sadly believed them and it was too late to get my money back, 6 Months ago. Btw, found numerous Corn Snake breeders in my area, so if Reptile City needs any, I can sell them some.

I ordered a baby Timor Monitor from Reptile City a few weeks ago. So far he's doing great, I am really impressed. He arrived safe and sound a few days ago and was eating within seconds of me giving him some crickets, and seems very comfortable being held, both very impressive considering his species' general demeanor, being known to not eat for a few days and being very skittish and shy. Not my boy! He was very perky and seems very comfortable being held (he'll just sit on my palm or sometimes crawl around and explore)
Shipping was a little later than expected but I do appreciate how communicative they were about it and ready to answer any of my questions when I contacted them. They seem like a very busy business with the customers best interest in mind, I hope to buy again sometime in the future, thank you for your business! :)
Ordered a male and female Jackson chameleon. The mail came and Alive the female was dead when I got here had the FedEx man as a witness. Took him eight days to replace the female and she sick as hell. He shipped it second day with no markings that's live reptile. When we open up the box she was upside down. I have text them and I have called them no response.
By far the best customer service out there.Not only did they overnight beautiful lizards to my doorstep, but they also verified card ownership before shipping. I was informed of every step of the shipping process as it was happening, and got my lizards in record time. I will definitely be getting my tegu a girlfriend from these guys!
My wife bought a boa constrictor from Reptile City for my birthday. I have always wanted one of these snakes and this was awesome, until I realized it was completely INFESTED with mites that I was unable to get rid of before the snake died of infection. I contacted them and let them know, never heard back from them and then another snake arrives in the mail. It was shipped while prepping to shed. When I got it, it had a dry shed and a nasty case of mouth rot. Reptile City has provided me with nothing but sick animals, anxiety and lighter bank account. I found a local boa breeder that does great work and sells exceptionally healthy animals. I will pay more to the breeder, than deal with these crooks again. I'm not even asking for my money back, because I don't want to deal with them any more. Unfortunately, this rating system doesn't allow for a rating of less than 1.
Could not ask for a better experience. Great customer service with real people. I had to change the delivery date and everyone along the way was easy to deal with and helped me pick a better date for the spider to be delivered. I received it healthy and beautiful the next day!
I was disgusted with how my turtles were packaged! First of all it was in a priority box with no markings that there was a live animal inside so I can imagine how much they were thrown around. Yes there was dents in the box. Opened the box with a bunch of paper and turtles were inside a container with a piece of toilet paper on top. I will never give them my money again even if it means paying $20 more.im shocked they made it here alive, they are alot more active now that I've had them in the tank the last couple hours. Not to mention the manager is just rude as can be, gosh forbid I call and ask about my order.
Our baby Tegu arrived safe and sound. What a beautiful addition to our family! I was very impressed with your service- you answered the phone whenever I called to check the status of my order and responded to my e-mails in a timely manner. You did an excellent job in packaging the animal so it arrived safely (with the cold winter conditions here in Minnesota). Been ordering from these guys for a few years now and every single animal ive ordered from them were and still are alive and healthy, just received a scolopendra gigantea(amazon giant centipede) today and is extremely active. Also they have very friendly staff that are glad to help. Highly recommend these guys :)
I recently attempted to purchase a bearded dragon from the Reptile city website. Not only was my lizard not shipped, but I noticed i was double charge. They had charged a second time about a week or so after the first. When I called, they said it was because "the other warehouse" messed up, and I would be refunded. Well I wasn't refunded, but I disputed the charge with my bank. As of now, 17 days later, still nothing! Oh, and now they won't answer the phone. So DO NOT buy from them!
I placed an order online, and paid for it, including 5-7 day shipping. Weeks went by, and nothing but excuses for not ship[ping my order. After I became insistent that my order be filled, they told me the order was cancelled because it would cost too much to ship to Alaska. For Hell sakes, they got my mailing address before calculating the shipping cost. Nothing but lies from these dishonest jerks, then they have the audacity to get snotty with me. Also, I have not seen a refund to my credit card yet. I had to file a dispute.
If you're in the market for a pet reptile, I HIGHLY recommend Reptile City. From the get-go they were super accommodating, helpful, and friendly. My juvenile Yellow Saharan Uromastyx arrived packaged with care as well as very healthy; he's just a beautiful animal. I purchased a Cobalt Blue tarantula. Which I never received. To find out any updates on my order I was always given the run around. The tarantula obviously wasnt in stock. I paid for there premium shipment which was 49.00. Which in turn apparently gives you special arraignments. Well that never happened I was told bogus excuses from cant locate and flights to ship to. You will receive an email tonight that it shipped. When asked if the tarantula shipped because I received no email. I was informed a refund has been issued. Avoid shopping here there extremely rude and cant believe there still in business.
After reading all the nasty reviews, I cannot believe we are even talking about the same store. I think they have actually changed ownership by the way. My son has purchased MULTIPLE different types of reptiles from Blake and Tamika, and they have all been brimming with good health. Not only that, but I have a beautiful blue tongue that was not purchased from them, and whenever I need advice or health checks, they are always amazing. I have never had a faulty product and in fact their knowledge of all the reptiles they keep is amazing. I'd advise people to try them out themselves, rather than be misguided by a few vitriolic posts that may well be about the previous owner.
I ordered a BOGO gecko set and was accidentally shipped the same order twice. They agreed to a refund and Felton was polite and professional, as I was to him. I had to write a pleasant email reminding them about my promised refund but then received it promptly. The lizards were wild caught and a little thin but very active upon arrival. They all shed their skins within 36 hours of arrival and have been doing quite well. Also, they were shipped much more quickly than I expected. Marcus was wonderful during several conversations and I was quite pleased. I am about to order something else from them, so we'll see how that goes, but meanwhile I have no complaints.
Bought baby turtle had it 4 wks it died. He sent me new one it was sick bad shell. Called him sent pictures, He" the owner did nothing. My new turtle will probably die too. So sad, Terrible customer service. Will never buy from them again. Will tell everyone. Very unhappy customer.
Ordered 4 house geckos in January 2021 and here it is August of 2021 and still have not received the animals or a refund. I have called many times and got nothing but excuses or that I should have it in a few days. Not that it will do much good but I reported them to the FTC for fraud. Do not order from them or haha reptiles(owned by same person) unless you want to throw your money away.

Two perfect little Sulcata tortoises arrived today. They are absolutely beautiful. Reptile city was very helpful in making sure the weather was perfect for their trip. I had to wait a while since the temperatures took a nose dive, but as soon as we had warmer weather, they were sent. I was kept informed the entire time. I really appreciate their patient and experienced customer service.
A/k/a HaHa Reptiles - owner is a thief, takes your order and money but doesn't ship anything. Won't process a refund either. I'm done with him, I've reported him to multiple agencies and will have his permits revoked. I will not back down until I have a full refund and he pays the price for deception.
Felton Willis, the owner, was recently arrested in Louisiana. He was on the run after a few years long investigation with FL Fish and Wildlife. He has numerous pending charges and is currently in Martin Co Jail on over 100k bond, after being extradited from LA. He and his girlfriend bragged for years about their million dollar online reptile business to myself and others, yet I always suspected something was up. Just wondering if you had any more info on the case. Looks like they were shipping live animals through the post office... Hoping there was no cruelty to animals! You should contact Martin County Sheriffs office in Stuart FL with any fraud!

I was charged for an adult male but received a tiny juvenile dragon the guy explained the original was missing all its fingers and toes.
Charged for an adult dragon + shipping and got tiny lizard.

I emailed several websites about their Savannah monitors and it took them almost a week to get back to me, I sent a email to reptile city inquiring about the savannah monitor babies and the owner responded within minutes and he walked me through everything and I was very happy, I paid for the four-day processing and he shipped it within 2. They are very happy and healthy very active and doing well I would recommend this site to anyone. Thanks Felton.
I decided to do business with ReptileCity because they had some of the best prices and their reviews listed on their website were good. I purchased 4 scorpions from them. They took my money before shipping the animals, which was a little suspicious and concerning. It took over 6 months for me to receive the animals. I contacted them on a weekly bases for months before they finally shiped the animals. Their responses to my emails (if they decided to respond) would always be the same "we'll be checking on your order". After the scorpions finally came, not only were they in poor condition, but some of them were not even the species of scorpions I ordered. A few days after their arrival one died. After reading other reviews, I now regret doing business with ReptileCity. I have suspicions that the scorpions they sent me were wild caught.
Ordered turtles and never recieved. Lied to repeatedly by Felton. Called numerous times to no avail. Finally told out of stock, yet, they still have 35 in stock on line and still taking money from customers for no product.
Have not received promised refund.
