I had ordered 3 green Basilisk babies, 2 fire belly frogs and 2 fire belly newts.

The frogs were simply not in the order. The newts and basilisks arrived in a UNMARKED PRIORITY MAIL FLAT RATE ENVELOPE! Newts dead on arrival. 1 Basilisk dead after turning to a skeleton for the next 2 weeks, a second followed him the week after. One survived the ordeal to grow up... no response to complaint, no refund, no new animals, no apology. Sick bastards sending live animals without a proper marking on the package, never mind illegal.

I order three turtles packaging was disgusting two days after the arrival one of them died and another was wrong turtle I called them over six weeks And I didn't get nothing from them you can find so many other retail stores online trust me do not deal with retail city they don't know what they doing every week I called they act that they don't know anything about anything whenever deal with them anymore

The baby red dragon came to day and she is so pretty! Thank you Mr Willis for helping us get this pretty girl our boy is so excited he is glass dancing bobing his head showing off to her!

To all animal lovers out there this so-called company is a SCAM don't send your money and do not do an overnight payment for overnight shipping it will not come you will be waiting at home for nothing a day taking off of work for nothing when you wait 30 days thinking you're going to get your animals shipped to you don't let those words free shipping fool you you won't get any shipping you get nothing me and my crew are doing a story on Ripoff City because (Reptile City) is a joke the marketplace it's going to go live on Facebook and YouTube I hope your smiling Felton... I purchased 2 musk turtles from Reptile City, and could not be happier with the amazing customer service I received as well as the exceptional quality of my turtles. I reached out to Felton with a few questions prior to my purchase, and he went above and beyond my expectations to provide a positive experience. He responded to my phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. I was very impressed with how quickly I received my turtles as well. They are a great addition to my fish aquarium. I used this company to buy small turtles for my son and they always deliver on time, this is the second time I order from them and the turtles are in a great shape, thanks so much!

Although the yellow belly sliders arrived safe (and SUPER CUTE), I'm not impressed with the way they were packaged. They were SOOO excited to hop in the warm aquarium and take a swim. They were dry when they arrived, one was upside down and unable to move and the heating element in the box was cold.

Good friend ordered two baby bearded dragons. Both arrived with diseases, in a terrible state, in ordinary mail. Both died shortly afterwards.

This company is terrible.

These people don't take care of there animals AT ALL they make horrible places like petco and pet smart look good. Im pretty sure if you order off craigs list you'll have better luck finding a healthy well cared for pet. These jackasses deserve to be out of business. Report them and never buy from them. I ordered two bearded dragons and one corn snake the corn snake came dead and the bearded dragons died 1 week later. Coming from someone who has a lot of experience with reptiles, THIS ISNT RIGHT AND ITS SAD. REPORT THEM!

Ordered 2 mountain horned lizards for my son. First, I strongly disagree with the way they are packaged and mailed. Just a regular priority box. No labels or special care for live animals. Both very cold when they got here. One was severely swollen. I called and asked about it and was told it's normal so I thought maybe it was stress from the terrible trip they must have had. Guy was unfriendly and unhelpful. And I did NOT complain about anything including the way they were shipped. Just wanted to know if I needed to do anything special for the bloated one. So after 6 days and no change, took it to the vet who X-rayed him and said he's severely constipated and also had very low bone density which is a pretty good sign that they weren't ever cared for properly. He's still the same 3 weeks later and probably won't live. My son saved money for these babies and then the vet was $160. And now it sounds like he's going to die. PLEASE be cautious about who you order from. Wish I had done more research.

Ordered a corn snake on April 19th paid 4 day shipping 1 to 4 days shipping $40 for a $40 snake called on the 24th snake still wasn't shipped I asked him to put a refund on my card he was very rude and he said that the accounting department would do that tonight I said will please send me an email and he hung up I would not recommend this site try finding a local pet store

This store has great customer service and are extremely patient and attentive. My Tegu is doing great super friendly and hungry guy. Will be ordering from them again soon.

I was extremely skeptical when I ordered from them, because of all the bad reviews. But their scorpions were on sale. And they gave free shipping over $100. Normally every online pet delivery is $40. So I couldn't pass up the sale and took a risk. They arrived on time and all 11 of the scorpions were alive and very active, beautiful even. I ordered 2 of the same breed previously from a different site, and they were small, one was damaged, and they cost me $80 including the shipping. These from reptile city were huge and had massive claws! They were packaged individually in deli cups with air holes surrounded by newspapers. The only thing missing was the styrofoam padding around the box, other than that it was a great unboxing experience. I am still amazed that they have such poor reviews. I even spoke to Felton the owner himself, and he is a man of his word. He assured me they will be in deli cups rather than a bag that I've seen on YouTube videos about them. Perhaps they really made a change for the better. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. What a steal 109.99 for 11 big Asian forest scorpions.- Joe

It was packed very well and box was marked perishable this side up. Felton was helpful and professional. Was emailed tracking # the night before and was delivered on time. Great company to buy from.

I have bought exactly one animal from reptile city this animal being a black throat monitor. I'm certainly not a troll and I'm certainly not a fan boy though I am a fan. If I'm being honest I've never once thought of reptile city as a bad place to buy reptiles regardless of their import practices. It is not inherently bad to import reptiles that cannot be obtained captive born otherwise and other people need to understand this. Where perhaps do you think that the ancestors of your current captive born reptiles came from? Maybe the wild? Before you just bash a company, maybe you should call them up and ask about their practices maybe ask about the care of the animal that you're looking to purchase. Maybe don't bash them on the bandwagon like everyone else just because you want to feel special. It's not cool and you're not a better person for doing it. Thanks reptile city for my beautiful black throated monitor I will be purchasing more from you guys in the future just haven't half the funds!

I placed an order with Reptile city, and like many many others, I was scammed with no delivery, no refund, and straight lies from their customer service. REPORT these business operators to the FTC & FBI!

This place is a JOKE! Where should I start. I had placed a order with another company that gave me TWO updates... followed by another email the following day indicating they no longer had the Tarantula I was in search for... so I asked for a refund then tried out Reptile City! I gave Reptile City a brief summary of my terrible experience with the other company... which in turn I was told that they would NOT charge my card until the item was shipped ( LIE)... I placed my order on 7/16/19... the processing and ship time was 5 to 8 days...( which I don't understand because standard shipping is 5 to 7 days with a $29.99 Shipping fee) with FREE shipping because my order was over $100. So I called and called and called... and everytime I spoke with someone it was this and that... first, he was in the hospital and his health is more important... secondly, our emails go out after 8pm ( indicating that my item was shipped) I should be receiving one shortly ( LIE) even though THEY KNEW I was never gonna receive a email! So I called this morning ( day of my alleged ship day... 7/25/19) and was then told unfortunately they were out of the Tarantula I was seeking and would I like a refund or another Tarantula! Why in the hell would I want another one after going through all this bull crap! Trust me, its more to this terrible experience... the customer service is TRASH! I'm telling you, order at your own risk... if it quacks like a duck, its a duck! Buyers BEWARE!

Felton is a very kind and caring person that I have grown to highly respect. Reptile City is the only company that doesn't try to make "extra" money from shipping cost. I purchased two Sulcatas tortoises and two Nile Monitors from the buy one get one free options.

They arrived in perfect health and were very active. My Nile Monitors started eating right away and my Sulcatas eat after they warmed up. There was a heat package in there that was still warm when I opened the box.

Felton called me later in the evening to check on the condition of my new pets/ family members. He is very direct and knows his stuff. I can't imagine how busy he is with feeding, cleaning, hatching, shipping and selling, answering emails and phone calls, and taking care of the 100's of animals that he does.

I saw and read all the negative reviews about reptile city and I can honestly say that has not been the experience with this company at all. Please understand that some people are just mean and unhappy and these "bad" reviews are false. Felton is direct and doesn't sugar coat which is a quality to be admired, not bashed on.

I will be purchasing a few more animals in the future and I will ONLY be getting them from Reptile City. Ignore the bad stuff about this company because you won't be disappointed.

They took my money twice for some scorpions that I ordered but they took $298.02 times in the same day they never sent the product they never reimbursed me they kept telling me they would reimburse me Felton But nothing but keep lying to me my girlfriend just died from Covid and I told him that I told him I had cancer and I was a sick person bananas matter to him so now I hope you catch Covid I hope somebody in your family does I hope Satan comes and takes your soul because that's where you're going

I just wanted to thankyou for my Brachypelma albopilosum (Honduran curly hair tarantula). She (or he... hasnt molted so I can sex it yet) not only arrived safe and sound, but is a beautiful healthy looking specimen with a VORACIOUS appetite, and is docile as can be. This is the 1st T I bought since my Grammostola porteri passed away 20 years ago, and I am so happy that you guys gave me a great T. Hope you enjoy the holidays!
