“Fast shipping, vigorous animals!”

I placed three separate orders here, two for hard to get Ecuadorian hermit crabs, and one for a three-striped mud turtle. Each time, the hermit crabs ran out of their container (insulated, humid, and with damp moss) an had natural shells. The turtle was groggy, but woke up and was swimming happily within 20 minutes. Thank you! Will buy again when I have more space!

Do not order from this company. They will take your money the very next day but won't return your emails. After 4 attempts to contact them via email were unsuccessful I tried to call them. Every single number was disconnected!

Have been looking for a particular reptile species for a long time and found this store. I sent them an email asking if they could find it for me, and after a few days they replied that they don't have it but checked with their partners and were able to find it and delivered it to me if I am still interested.
This was a major red flag for me… How they can deliver an animal, usually you need to go to the store and pick it up. Then I decided to explore more about the company and I read tons of complaints from customers saying that they never received their orders. This was enough for me. I decided not to order. Maybe they could deliver it and everything would be alright, but this store has a pretty low customer satisfaction rating. They need to improve it if they really want to stay in this business...

This is about the worst place possible to get anything especially animals. You can call several times and they will not return your call like they say. Only received one e-mail confirming my order. Nothing more. You had to pry information out of them just to get a million excuses. They went as far to tell me there was a car accident so no one was in the office? LAME! Can't trust anyone. I asked for a refund. I paid $49 shipping for 1-2 business days processing and overnight shipping. Its been about 2 1/2 weeks later and nothing. Pieces of shot is what they are! They do call to confirm your credit card and address! Just so they can charge you. A load of CRAP!

OMG! Im from Anchorage Ak and normally it cost an arm and legs to ship up here, but this guys sent my turtles and tortoises Overnight for Free! Yes Free! And they were all alive and healthy. Will definitely order from them Again. Thanks mr Willis u guys r awesome

I placed an order for 4 map turtles on 12/5/20. (buy 1, get 1) and did the free shipping (ships within 30 business days).

I was doubled billed about four days apart. I got that resolved. It was supposedly for a system switch over.

Late January came and still no turtles. I requested a status. Two people stated on the same day they will they get back to me. Nothing. I requested again. Nothing. I requested again and I got "We will issue you a refund.". No explanation for poor service, no apologies, after nearly two months!

Recommend buyers avoid this place!

Give Mr. Willis 5 stars for taking care of business like he said after the little delay that happened during my order. But I received my Armadillo Lizards exactly when he said I would and he's healthy and doing great! The whole family love him already thanks again and thanks for responding every time I sent an email!

Ordered 4 turtles, only 3 sent. Called the owner twice and was told he'd "look into it"- never heard back. Poor turtles arrived in an unmarked, battered box In a plastic tub with a dry paper towel. One died the following day. The others were sick and we're still not sure if they're going to make it. So horribly sad. Will never, ever order from them again- PLEASE don't give them any more business!

Can confirm this place is garbage. I also had no air holes in boxes nor did it state anything about live animals like all other places. Had to discard 2 lizards as they had parasites and one of the scorpions I got from there has died within a month. Owner is a known con and has a criminal history

A good friend ordered some bearded dragons, which arrived in normal mail, with absolutely nothing to signify live animals were in the box. Terrible, full of disease, died soon after. Please for the sake of these animals, report and stay away.

My 12 year old son ordered 2 eastern spotted newts on December 31. Every time we called Willis had a different excuse every time I have called. He apparently has been out of stock for 4 months, but yet on the website It has only shown out of stock for a few weeks over the last 17 weeks. He is disorganized, and short when he talks to me. I have called at least 5 times emailed at least 5 times and even texted. 17 weeks later no newts. His site currently says they are in stock. He is stealing money hand over fist just read the other reviews. Pretty sad to steal from a 12 year old.

Tip for consumers:
Sells things they don’t give and they give nothing but excuses

I cancelled my order more than a month ago. I was promised a refund. I've emailed multiple times, texted and called. They essentially stole my money. I see now looking at other reviews that this is what they do. Time for the better business bureau.

Avoid these people! They sent me a very unhealthy - and expensive - Mata Mata turtle, which died shortly after I received it. They are clearly in business just for the buck and don't care about the animals they sell or their customers who buy them..

Fenton the owner of this business has horrible customer service skills and appears to be a criminal. He charged me for animals that were not sent. He has promised to ship them twice and not followed thru twice. When I expressed my displeasure at being lied to his response was maybe we are not a good fit to do business. I brought the negative reviews all over the Internet noting his multiple accounts of negligent service, sick animals, and other complaints against his business from other consumers his response was "people hide behind a keyboard and only tell one side of the story and this doesn't stop my business from doing 500 orders a week".

This man has clearly made a habit of poor customer service, is delusional at best and a criminal at worst, what he's done to me is outright theft. His only excuse is that there are two sides to every story, I guess everyone else who has a complaint made up their complaints too. Buyer beware!

The other side of this story is the buyer placed an order with us 12/11/15 totaling 601.00. The order was shipped December 14 and contained everything but 2 CA Red-Tail Boa totaling 90.00 – Four days later after receiving the Boa’s we shipped the snakes which he signed for at 9:43am 12/18/15 which is the same day/time he is posting here. “come on” Viewing his site (neoshopets.com - about us) one can easily determine that there are two sides to every story.

It has been nearly a year now since I placed my order. They took my money and never shipped my lizards. I have called and emailed. Every time I've spoke to someone they tell me they'll get them mailed the b next day. Still waiting... can't get them to even answer my calls now. Definitely DO NOT use this company. Buyers beware!

Never will I ever buy from this site ever again. Bought a hermit crab in oct 2020. Waited 30 days and reached out to them about 3-4 times. Their excuse was I had to wait 30 business days from the day I made my purchase. Then the "owner" emailed me stating she had an emergent surgery and and will get to my order ASAP. Jan 2021 comes and no reply so I messaged them once more. They said my hermit crab will not last through shipment cause it's winter already and will issue a refund. Feb 2021 and still no refund.

Overcharged me $30 on my order. He kept telling me he was going to reimburse my $30 he never did. I asked for a full refund-he denied it and didn't attempt to ship my spiders. After two and a half months filed a complaint with the credit card company and the police-he finally issued my refund. Please read these reviews and take warning of the bad complaints. You will most likely have a bad experience with reptile City. As they say, you have been warned!

Balaam is Moab's answer to Moses, the man of God. He is an internationally known prophet who shares the pagan belief that the God of Israel is like any other deity who might be manipulated by acts of magic or sorcery. But from the early part of the narrative, when Balaam first encounters the one true God in visions, and in the narrative of the journey on the donkey (ch. 22), he begins to learn that dealing with the true God is fundamentally different from anything he has ever known. When he attempts to curse Israel at the instigation of Balak king of Moab, Balaam finds his mouth unable to express the curse he desires to pronounce. Instead, from his lips come blessings on Israel and curses on its enemies (chs. 23 - 24).

In his seven prophetic oracles, Balaam proclaims God's great blessing for his people (see 23:20). Though the immediate enjoyment of this blessing will always depend on the faithfulness of his people, the ultimate realization of God's blessing is sure -- because of the character of God (see 23:19). Thus Numbers reaffirms the ongoing purposes of God. Despite his judgment on his rebellious people, God is still determined to bring Israel into the land of promise. His blessing to Israel rests in his sovereign will.

The teaching of the book has lasting significance for Israel and for the church (cf. Ro 15:4; 1Co 10:6,11). God does display his wrath even against his errant people, but his grace is renewed as surely as is the dawn and his redemptive purpose will not be thwarted.

I placed an order for a boa in early May and never received it. I called two weeks after placing my order and spoke to a man who said they're backed up since December. How do you have time to feed the animals but not ship them? So I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited some more. Finally I got fed up with the wait and sent an email to please cancel my order. No response. I tried calling the numerous numbers they have and either got no pickup OR the line said the number is no longer in service. Finally I disputed with my credit card company about the deal and they reversed the charge. Avoid this place like the plague.

I was horrified when I saw the condition my chameleon arrived in. It looked dead. His skin was peeling and got stuck to the plastic box. The package had no label that it contains live animal. It didn't even say "Handle with care". The instructions said that it would be shipped overnight. According the usps tracking the poor animal was in that dark dry box for 50 hours! The poor animal died the next day. I can't believe that somebody can handle live animals this way! Don't buy from this company!

These people are shady. Will not respond to emails. They haven't shipped my order and it's been over a month. I want my money back. Tracking number was created on 10/05/2020 and it's not an overnight shipment. They lie. Do not shop with them. Ever.

Ordered a bearded dragon back in October, was told 6 weeks later they were still waiting on a shipment of dragons, asked for a refund and 3 months later still no refund. All I get is Excuses. I will never order from this company again.

The large numbers of men conscripted into Israel's army (see, e.g., the figures in 1:46; 26:51) have puzzled many interpreters. The numbers of men mustered for warfare seem to demand a total population in excess of 2,000,000. Such numbers appear to be exceedingly large for the times, for the locale, for the desert wanderings, and in comparison with the inhabitants of Canaan. See note on 3:43.

Various possibilities have been suggested to solve this problem. Some have thought that the numbers may have been corrupted in transmission. The present text, however, does not betray textual difficulties with the numbers.

Others have felt that the Hebrew word for "thousand" might have a different meaning here from its usual numerical connotation. In some passages, for example, the word is a technical term for a company of men that may or may not equal 1,000 (e.g., Jos 22:14, "family division"; 1Sa 23:23, "clans"). Further, some have postulated that this Hebrew word means "chief" (as in Ge 36:15). In this way the figure 53,400 (26:47) would mean "53 chiefs plus 400 men." Such a procedure would yield a greatly reduced total, but it would be at variance with the fact that the Hebrew text adds the "thousands" in the same way it adds the "hundreds" for a large total. Also, this would make the proportion of chiefs to fighting men top-heavy (59 chiefs for 300 men in Simeon).

Another option is to read the Hebrew word for "thousand" with a dual meaning of "chief" and "1,000," with the chiefs numbering one less than the stated figure. For example, the 46,500 of Reuben (1:20) is read as 45 chiefs and 1,500 fighting men, the 59,300 of Simeon (1:23) is read as 58 chiefs and 1,300 fighting men, etc. But in this case, as in the former, the totals of 1:46 and 2:32 must then be regarded as errors of understanding (perhaps by later scribes).

I ordered a southern toad mid November, with the extra $20 5-7 day shipping guarantee and didn't receive the toad. I waited 10 days before messaging the supplier, who said he would look into it. Another 5 days and I messaged again, asking for a refund because clearly I wasn't going to get my toad. He sent a 5 word email "will check with accounting now" another three days I messaged him again. I haven't gotten a reply. That was weeks ago--it's now January

I placed an order with them on 02/26/2021. 2 weeks ago, I was told they would be shipped on a Thursday and would arrive by that weekend. Nothing arrived. I've called and emailed them. Last reply said they would be shipped April 6th. I told them I needed them sooner, its been so long since I ordered and I paid for 6-10 business day shipping. What's the deal guys? Why can't you follow through with your own shipping policy? I'm trying to call today to get a refund. This is beyond ridiculous.

Bought 4 fire belly toads that were active and feeding the moment they got here so I was happy about that and were by far the best prices I could find online. But in my second order the southern toad that came never fed and died on the second day. Same thing happened to the person I got it with, both his died in the first few days.

We ordered two red eyed tree frogs from this service. They were supposed to be delivered within 30 days, it took them 34 days to get here. This wouldn't have been a huge issue had the seller communicated at all. We had to call multiple times before finally figuring out when our frogs would arrive, not to mention how rude the service rep was.

After the frogs finally did arrive in their poorly packaged unmarked box, we removed them and they both thankfully were in decent health. I say decent because 2 days later, one of the frogs has already died and the other appears to be in poor health.
