This company does not typically respond to reviews
Very close to expectations because we have mixed reviews. Many negatives were from years CC ago and things as have improved since
It was not clear why but most of what I saw on the report was not me, not my name, not my information
Helpful! Guiding supporting and addressing those issues that I would not go into alone, due to lack of ability to fix that about what's seen and known on the Internet about me. Thank you
Norton surprised me sharing this availability to myself today!
Interesting results, it did pull up another person of the same name.
(4.5*) Your site looked more like a survey site. Once started.
I wanted to check because of some negatives via The Bash that may have started rumors other than The Bash website itself.
Didn't find anything more than what a google search would do. That could be a good thing but not sure. Would like more in depth assurances before engaging service.
I found this company to be very ineffective in countering anonymous hate or harassment web sites. Their operation consists of publishing web articles and posts in a attempt to decrease the prominence of unfavorable or untrue articles or posts about you (the potential customer). Unfortunately if the unfavorable/untrue post is on a heavily trafficked site this is very difficult to over come in most search engines. The company's controlled web sites are often seen by google and other search engines as less reliable or high ranking since they are a commercial business who's goal is to promote the manufactured posts made by this firm on your behalf. For $4-******* or more, you would be far happier just to accept that the internet is a bad place and keep your money. This tactic may be effective if you have a million dollars to spend. If you have that much money there are more effective ways to identify the anonymous poster attacking you. That is probably the only effective method of stoping or removing false negative posts. Unfortunately without access to high level computer people this is nearly impossible. Some of the identification methods may also be technically illegal or questionable so it takes big money and effort. My personal experience is that the unfavorable posts are never taken down and gradually become less prominent with time so the best use of that money is to take a lot of deep breaths, get many good dinners and lunches. You will overall come out ahead that way rather than spending $7500 which I did.
Tip for consumers:
Ineffective in reputation defense.
I don't know how deep you are digging, you didn't find anything on me. I guess that's good, IF you really did a deep dive.
It’s free, sort of. I’m sure I just signed up for a few thousand random spam emails. I saw an ad on NBC, on demand watching SharkTank,
Easy to use. Luckily, it looks like I don't have anything negative showing about me, right now. So, I really appreciate the free check. Thanks!
Concerned about someone who is causing me trouble.
Was trying to read about my security, got halfway through it, and a "Rate us!" window pops up Lame..
You've found a lot of the things that I've posted myself. There are no reviews or comments from other people. I don't know if I can assume that you've found everything.
REPUTATION DEFENDER DOES NOTHING BUT CHEAT CUSTOMERS AND ABUSE THEM. THEY TELL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREA THAT THEY ARE GOING TO RETURN YOUR MONEY BECAUSE IT IS PROVEN THEY DID NOT WORK FOR THE CUSTOMER AND THEN THEY KEEP ALL THE MONEY YOU PAID THEM
This company operates with complete bad faith and just wants to steal your money.
Tip for consumers:
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. They are terrible, simply the worst of the worst.
Products used:
none. I paid them $6000 purchased a product for that amount but it was never delivered to me.
Because my name "Courtney Atkinson" is not any of the people you show me and this is what is giving me a bad reputation. This is the problem. It's the wrong Courtney. Put me on the page first..
Because I'm always getting mixed up for someone else in real life because of this
It appears catch all the details I had earlier scavenged and a g=few more that i did not or couldn't get. The rating also is sugestive of real life perceptions
Some of what I saw didn't belong to "me." Therefore, how do I know my report card reflects "my" reputation grade without having to give my credit card information?
I want to erase negative information that no longer reflects who I am now.
It would be helpful if the report indicates how common of a name you are searching for and if you need to identify your self in the future in order to stand out some how from the crowds.
Just wondering because everybody has a some reason for trying to get more information about you nowadays.
This site did EXACTLY what it advertised... it reviewed my online profile, and it promptly furnished feedback, no games, no sales nonsense. I'm stunned and would use this service in a heartbeat!
Saw the TV advertisement.
I have been trying to find someone to help me with the information on me and that I don't have to give out to people who don't know me I have been catphishidhed and it hurts
I'm tired of being alone and just open for phishing and people who are not looking to be in a good way of my life
Due to information you showed me regarding death of a dear friend. It's a shame hackers will track through a Mortuary. How low will these scub bags go.
I don’t want my personal info on the internet… ever!
Why didn't the scan provide 4 out of 10 derogatory results for me on the first scan? Result is bizarre. A plus on one, F on the second. It can't be both, can it?
You offered it for free
You are taking the similar names of a group of individuals and aggregating together all of the information to come up with a rating (grade) which is not at all accurate!
Questionable results?
This helped me see some issues i need to deal with. Still need to see if they were from my end or a mishap. But all in all a useful thing to do just in case.
Job rejections and such.
This is pretty exciting to see how my online reputation is and to see different feeds and how they are perceived. Few of news which is positive is shown as negative, but I was able to update it.
Exploring the Reputation Defender, as it is pretty interesting and exciting.

This allowed me to see what information could be seen about me online, which was very interesting to say the least. I would give 5 stars if it gave me things I could do to limit this information.
I just did it on a whim when I saw that it was available for free on Norton website. Sounded interesting and it def was!
I have no idea wtf is going on... there's been no explanation of what appears to be a website driven by a team of monkeys... bizarre is a word that comes to mind! Great work guys keep up the...
I was overwhelmingly compelled
Excellent results. I do have something inaccurate that I find problematic, but it's good news to find that it's not as prominent as I had thought. Thank you. Will definitely follow up later with you!
Because it gave me a good grade, which indicates to me that this is an honest operation--not a come-on for business by scaring me with a bad grade... In this day and age, that is much appreciated.
Because it was a free report.
