This company has had its issues in the past with many customers, me being one of them. However, after 5 year, the new vice president of the company contacted me to correct the issue. I was issued a full refund for my situation. I am completely grateful that Mr. Ojeda reached out to me to show me something that I had not seen from this company in 5 years, that he cares about my opinion and about me as a customer. Thank you Mr. Ojeda for correcting my issue and I wish you all the best in your new position.
Inadvertently booked a Super 8 through Reservation.com. When I realized my mistake, I went to the Super 8 site and got the same room for $10 per night cheaper. I called Reservation.com and was told I could cancel but they had a non-refundable 19.99 service charge. Total scam, don't use them!
Don't ever use reservations.com they are crooks. Never ever again. They are the worst reservation company out there
I wish to give them 0. They are scam. They are just trying to robber your money. AWFUL EXPERIENCE...
I booked a room on what I thought was a Super 8s reservation site. The site was linked to RESEVATION.COM, an American company though I was making my reservation in Canada.
The room rate was displayed as a good price so I booked the room. When I printed off the resevation I realised that the price was not in Canadian dollars but American and that there were extra charges attached. Upon contacting RESERVATION.COM they were most agreeable to cancelling the reservation but the extra fee was nonrefundable (approx. $50 CDN or $19.99 USD). It was considered as a service fee.
Upon enquirering where on the site it identified where the room rate was in American dollars I was told that at the very bottom of the page there is a box which allows me to toggle between the different currencies. There definitely was a box in faint grey print and buried in amongst other text. Yes when one picks any currency EXCEPT American it is displayed at the room rate.
After adding up the extra fees and the RESERVATION.COMs echange rate I would have been charged about $190 CDN for a room that I could have had for about $110 if reserved at the front counter.
Be very careful when booking a hotel room on line so that you do not get involved with RESERVATION.COM I find them deceiving and misleading taking the fun out of a vacation.
